How do you remove the rear speakers on a 1996 Maxima?

You need to remove the rear seat. There are a series of bolts and clips that need to be undone. I recommend reading/purchasing a Haynes manual - they have complete steps on how to perform this.

How can I make my system better or the bass hit harder I have a kicker comp 10 with ported box and a kicker mono 250.1 amp with bass noob It's all kicker?

Dynamat Dynamat Dynamat make sure u use a true 4ga for power 12ga for speaker make sure box sealed up tight and at least 3/4in thick wood and ported to kicker specs a must a sub only as good as the box its put in also u can take a can of undercoating and coat the inside of your box also a stiffening cap or extra battery never hurts either, a amp works on current the more it gets the loader its gonna be

Do you hook up the ground wire first to an amp?

No. Hook up the power wire first, then the ground wire. The ground wire is what acutually draws the power to the unit. As you will notice the power wont turn on if just the power wire is plugged in..

Can you put kicker subs in a car without a amp?

Yes and no,

Subs could theoretically be hooked directly to the speaker output of your headunit using standard speaker wire and connections however this would be the equivalent of using a fly swatter to kill a bull. With out the power of an Amp (slang of amplifier) you are defeating the purpose of adding subs (slang for sub woofers) to your pimped out ride. If you are adding the woofers to get that Booming, wake up the neighbors, annoy the entire community sound you need to add the amplifier other wise you will just have really big speakers. The power of a typical head head unit is only 50 watts per channel. The average 10 inch sub woofer requires at least 200 watts to operate at its optimum efficiency. Save your lunch money for a few months and buy an amplifier. Then buy a Capacitor. Then buy some better sub woofers, don't waste your money on those neon lights, they'll get broken the first time you have to get tires put on your car.

Where is the factory amp at on 1997 dodge Dakota?

On a 1997 Dodge Dakota, the factory amplifier is located in the passenger side kick panel, directly in front of the door. The amplifier should be hooked directly into the speakers.

How do you get to the rear speakers in a 98 4 door impreza to change them can i fit 6 x 9's in?

You have to undo the bolts holding the rear seat on and make sure that the access to the boot ports on the back of the seat are open then pull them out ... then pull all of the panels off from around the panel that has the seat belt through it and pull that one off as well you will need a flat head screwdriver to pri them off and be carefull not to break the panels or the clips i think the only screws you need to undo are on the panels just under the seat belt panels ... then undo the anchore bolt ( if you have one ) from the top not the bottom the bottom is welded to the chassis ... then undo the clips holding the parcel shelves carpet on by pri-ing it up with a flat head screwdriver then you can undo the 3 screws holding the speakers in ( i know for sure that the one at the very back near the window is a real bitch ) ... if you want to fit 6x9s then take out the metal adapter plate out by undoing the 3 screws holding that on ( im not sure if the 6x9s will actually fit in there for sure u might need a speaker spacer to make it fit right ) ... then after u have installed the new speakers its time to put it all back together again ( YAYYYYYY ) .... i hope this has helped

How do you remove speakers in 2006 Chrysler 300?

You have to remove the entire door panel. There are a few screws (phillips) that need to be removed as well as the push pins on the outer perimeter of the panel. Once the panel is separated from the door, you will need to disconnect the door handle by removing the rod that is attached. Disconnect the wiring harness for your windows/locks and disconnect the wire on the back of the courtesy light at the base of the panel. After that, you will see the four screws that hold the actual 6x9 speaker in place. Remove those and disconnect the wiring.

A few other thoughts...some reference charts will tell you that you can get a 5" deep 6x9 for the door but they don't clarify. If you buy an aftermarket speaker, the magnet diameter is significantly larger and interferes with the vertical beam inside the door. Just keep that in mind in your speaker shopping and don't buy the high powered 6x9 unless you're prepared to do a custom installation. My recommendation would be to get an original Boston that you know will fit it (and the wiring is already there) and be done with it.

How do you by pass an amp in a 94 pathfinder?

You must run speaker wires directly to speakers from the head unit, tedious but hey what are you gonna do? No need to bypass hook "amp turn on" blue and white wire to ignition or power wire, worked for me. NO You don,t need to run new wires, you have to trace them down,,, not that diffulcult , Take out the amp, and connect the input and out put wires, don,t hook-up the red with white stripe, this is the 12 volt power to the amp. I have a very simple diagram for this,.

If you have two 150 RMS watt subs on the same ch of an amp What is the RMS watts needed from the amp?

Depends on the impedance of each speaker. If they are car subs and not converted home speakers, they are probably 4 Ohms each. Depending on how you wire them you get either 8 Ohms or 2 Ohms. 8 Ohms is not a problem load-wise for the amp, but if it is rated at 100 watts into 4 Ohms, then you will only get 50 watts into 8. Many car subs nowadays will handle a 2-Ohm load, but some will not. Your two speakers will handle 2x150 watts or 300 watts. An amp that is rated to drive 300 watts into 4 ohms will either deliver more like 500 watts into 2 Ohms, or it will melt through the floor of your car. So you need to look up the specs for your amp in the instruction manual. If it will only run into a 4-Ohm load, you can only use one 4-Ohm sub per channel. If it will handle a 2-Ohm load, you will have to turn it up slowly or you will blow your speakers out. Mr Ohm and his law will not be denied.

For voltage to be induced from one stationary wire to another one wire must have a n what type of current flow?

Intermittent. Faraday's law tells us that voltage can only be induced in a second coil when the current in the first coil changes

How do the vibrations from the voice coil in a speaker make distinguishable noises?

Speakers generate distinguishable noises, or sounds, by converting fluctuations in electric current in the voice coil into fluctuations in magnetic field. That generated magnetic field, being in the presence of a larger magnetic field, creates mechanical fluctuations in the position of the voice coil. Since the voice coil is mechanically coupled to the cone, the cone transfers those fluctuations to the cone. The cone, then, couples those fluctuations into fluctuations in air pressure, which our ears interpret as sound waves.

Its not really any different than the magnetic fields in a motor, except that we are generating fluctuating, vibrational energy, instead of rotational energy.

What size speakers does a 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE have and how many watts can it take?

My 96 Nissan sentra has 6.5" speakers. i just replaced them last week. i don't know how much watts it can take. it depends on the speakers.. not on the car.

Try to use the Nissan speaker adapters plugs so you don't need to cut wires and mess up the electric system, you can get those from eBay or amazon.

What is the easiest way to hook up an amplifier to a side post battery setup in a car?

By using a side post adapter. I'm going to guess it's a GM? If the battery bolt is longer, such as in a truck, use the GM long side terminal adapter, if it's a car you'll most likely want the GM short side terminal adapter. This is a much better method than trying to sandwich a ring terminal between the battery and the battery cable.
