How do you replace a fuel pump on a 1985 Camaro the easy way?

It will be best for you to buy a Haynes Manual at a parts house or bookstore. It will give you full details and pictures. They have them that are specific to your car so you are not buying information on something you do not need.
There is no easy way.

How do you replace a heater core on a 1995 Camaro?

First of all purchase a repair manual such as a Chilton. Your biggest problem is to remove the dashboard which requires special tools as usual. Second problem is draining the radiator system so when you remove the core it doesnt leak into the passenger floor. Mark all hoses and connections with etiher numbered tape or color coded so you know what goes where when putting the core back in. The third trick is to make sure the replacement core has been pressure tested before putting it in!!!!! If not purchase a new one period. Follow the Chilton diagrams and the last trick is to make sure there is no air on the system which will cause bad heating from the heater and possible damage to the cooling system.

That is all I know other than it cost around $390 dollars from a Chevy dealer in Texas 12-06-5. After replacing one in a Lincoln Town car myself I think the $390 is a real good price.

How do you change from coded key to regular key in 1991 camaro ignition has been knocked out?

I'd call a lcoksmith and have them install a new VATS ignition. It's possible to change to a standard key but I believe you'd still have to use a VATS ignition because the VATS keys are longer than a standard GM key which makes the ignition a little longer by a 1/4". Then you'd have to bypass the VATS. To bypass the VATS, find the two wires that go to the ignition. Clip the wires. Install the correct resistor between the two wires. Now the system will see the correct value no matter what key is inserted. To determine the resistor value, check the ohms of the chip by placing your probes on either side of the chip in the key. If you don't have an original key then I would just have a locksmith fix the vehicle.

Why won't the dash vents work on my 99 Subaru but floor vents and defrost vents work fine?

most of these door systems are vacuum controlled...but a pencil or object stuck internally can also be the cause, and not often easy to fix...for the vacuum system you can find specs and routing at the local library... check all the vacuum lines on the engine, and listen for vacuum hissing under the dash...good luck..:)

What is the difference between a 350 and a lt1 engine?

heads and intake

lets not forget that the LT1 uses a reverse pattern cooling system, a gear driven water pump, an optispark which utilizes an optical pickup, a 1 piece rear main seal (prior to 1986 was a 2 piece), and centerbolt heads (different bolt pattern) than a standard 350 block... not mentioning the opti is located on the FRONT of the motor UNDER the water pump :)

I had this problem with my 99 durango (5.9 L engine). I replaced the PCM which helped, but the problem wasn't solved until I installed new spark plugs. Runs like a top now!
