Can you bypass the air conditioning pump on a 1994 cavalier Z24 with a shorter serpentine belt?

Yes, but be aware that your air conditioning will no longer function. My air conditioning compressor fried the belt off during vacation. I had the same idea to eliminate it until I got the wife and kids home. It worked fine except the idle was very high. High enough to get up to 30 MPH without touching the gas on a level road. However once we got on the expressway it wasn't an issue. The idle is adjusted automatically on my 1989 and it fixed it to a point. But it couldn't completely compensate for it. If your car idles fine your in good shape, if not be very careful to not get in an accident. Because its gonna want to take off while your at red lights. And one other thing to keep in mind is that while your air conditioning wont function, your heat blower and vent will still work.

How do you replace the ignition coil on a 1991 Chevy Cavalier?

There are two ignition coils on a 91 Cavalier. There are both mounted on the back of the engine block (firewall side). While they are difficult to reach, they can be removed & replaced in about an hour to hour and a half. A small mirror with an extension handle is helpful for getting your bearings on the two small mounting screws on each coil. Be sure and keep the spark plug wires marked so they can be put back in the right place for the firing order

Where is the fuel pump located in the trunk?

Depending on the year and modle, but most are located in the center on the trunk just behind the back seat. It is under a oval like compartment cover. You lift up the trunk floor cover and expose the metal rise behind the seat. It is usually attached under the panel that you open with 6-8 bolts holding it in place. If you go to a good acura parts website and look at a fule pump drawing or photo, it will give you a good idea at what you are looking for from the top. Once you locate it, it is not difficult to replace.
