Mine was mounted to the back of the engine block but that is in a 93 Chevy Cavalier 2.2 4L engine, yours shouldn't be too different.
Just follow a spark plug wire from the spark plug to the other end. It will end at the ignition coil and the ignition coil is attached to the Ignition control module.
You most likely have to jack up the whole front end and get under the car to reach it like I did (it was easier), or you might be able to reach it through the top of the engine bay.

This car does not have a fuel pump shut off switch like many Fords, some Hyundais, and other makes have. In fact GM does not use fuel shut off switches. IF your cas is not starting and you belive it is due to the fuel pump, start with simple checks sauch as the fuse and relay. If they show to be good, gain access to the the fuel pump eltrical connector, located at the rear of the car near the rear axle. Check for power here. Have a friend cycle the car on and off as you check for a wire that will power up for 2-3 seconds. If you have a hot wire than you will need to replace your fuel pump.
You have either a bad "pot" which controls the door to the vents or, more likely, a vacuum leak or bad one-way valve. Does the air blow correctly when you let off the gas? If so, probably the valve.
just fixed mine an hour ago. follow the plastic vacuum line which comes out of the pass side top rear of motor close to the alternator. You can easily see it once you pop the hood. follow it over the brake master cylinder and then going to the front of the motor. Be careful not to pull on the vacuum lines too hard they are brittle and crack real easy. It will T off and go down into the fender. Mine was broken into 2. Plug it off with a screw a little smaller than the line and use some silicone to hold the screw in. Mine works like new. I did check a few other things before I found out I wasnt getting any vacuum inside car. so i might be able to help you once again if this isn't your problem. 1995 Lumina car 3.1.

AnswerIt's a real pain to get to the thermostat on this car. You have to remove the throttle body in order to get a wrench on the thermostat cover bolts. It is inside the aluminum thermostat housing. You can use a flex ratchet to loosen the 2 screws. It is hard to get to and will take time. Follow the hose to the engine block. It should be where the hose meets the engine. If you're looking for a "plug and play" swap, it's not going to happen. Even if you did manage to fit the engine into the bay, that 4T65-E will not mate to a 305 directly, nor will it handle the power and torque of the 305, as that transmission was designed for the 3.4 and 3.8 liter GM engines.

To replace turn signal control module requires removing steering wheel. Took mine to a dealer - $245 out the door. Brake lights work great now.

I have a 1992 Chevy Lumina Z34, I had this problem, I bought new handles online, they aren't very expensive and are typically easy to install. If you have a coupe, what happens is that them door are so heavy that over the years they put alot of pressure on the handles mechanisms that they wear out and somtimes break completely, especially in winter. I suggest taking a look at the inside of the handle and inspect the inside. If the lever mechanism doesn't push the rod down correctly, you can either mickey mouse it or just buy a new handle somewhere.
