How can you reset the oil light indicator on a Chrysler 300M?
On some cars there is a reset button in the fuse panel, check with your cars manual to see if they tell you how or where to look.
There is no reset on a 300m. If the oil light is on, you are low on oil, have a bad sensor, or a engine malfunction.
The thermostat on a Chrysler 300m 3.5L is located at the end of the lower radiator hose, near the oil filter.

Why the abs light comes on in your chrysler 300 1999?
The ABS light is on because the ABS module detects something is wrong with the system. It will remain on until it is fixed. As long as the light is on the ABS system will not function if needed. Take it to a trusted garage for diagnoses.
You only have one battery, it is in the trunk. The jump start posts under the hood on the passenger side are the proper place to hook to.

How do you change a headlight for a Chrysler Sebring 2000 Convertible?
You must remove the headlight assembly to get working access to the bulb.
Remove the long top outside Torx screw (T30), and the short one.
Slide assembly forward. Use a very small screwdriver to bend back the 2 locking tabs to release the plug. Slide plug straight out.
Then rotate black plastic collar ccw to release the bulb. Bulb pulls straight out.
When installing the new bulb (9007 series), align bulb notches with housing, push it in, then lock in the collar clockwise. Replace that plug, and turn signal plug.
Avoid touching the new bulb with your bare hands. Also wise to replace the amber turn signal bulb at the same time, while you have access to it.
How do you know which coil is bad on a 99 Monte Carlo if the car has a coil pack?
You can remove the suspect coil and switch it with a good coil and see if the two cylinders that were firing are now misfiring and the two that were misfiring are now firing.
If the coil pack is not working correctly then your car will be sluggish and should throw a misfire trouble code (check engine light). Usually only one coil will fail at a time. You can have the code scanned at autozone for free. They will also test your coils if you have them off the car. Always check your plugs and wires first before replacing the coil.

Is a 1979 Chrysler 300 a good car?
The 1979 Chrysler 300 Cordoba Special Edition was a one-year-only special that Chrysler marketed during some of the company's worst financial times. The Cordoba had been out since 1975 and was a big success for the company, selling nearly 150,000 per year. It was similar to the Monte Carlo and Grand Prix that General Motors sold in those times of a 'personal luxury car'. Big, heavy, V-8 cars with a nice ride and an appitite for lots of gasoline. The 300 was put together with all the high performance parts that Chrysler had in their parts bins for the police cars. It had heavy duty suspension, the largest performance engine at the time, a 360 cubic inch, high performance, 4 barrel carbed affair from the famed Little Red Express truck and the police cars. I had a fairly low-geared rear axle ratio of 3.21:l for a little more performance at the expense of gas mileage. Even the transmission was heavy-duty, so it shifted a little harder and you could hold your foot on the gas pedal longer in each gear. There were 300 badges and decals all over the car, including the inside red interior with a fancy metal-turned look instrument cluster featuring a tachometer along with all the other instruments. All the cars got the red leather interior with a console mounted shifter. Was it a good car? Indeed it was, and they are now considered 'collectible' and the values are rising. It started and ran and drove well, very much like its sister cars, was a little quicker, rode a little rougher and of course, the above-mentioned like for gasoline in larger quantities.
Remove fuel filter on 2000 Chrysler 300m?
I just replaced the fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator on my 2000 300m. The filter is probably not available at your local auto parts store, I got mine online at autopartswarehouse.com for 32 bucks + shipping.
For safety sake, remove the positive cable from the lug under the hood. (where you boost the car off from) There are power wires next to the filter/regulator. There will be no power to them with the key off, but you don't want to take unnecessary chances!
The filter/regulator is on top of the fuel tank. You will have to drop the tank to do this, and will have to get the car off of the ground. (supposedly there is access in the trunk of a 1999 model, but my 2000 has every option available on the 300m, and there is no access in the trunk. Be aware, later models may be different.) Ramps will do it, though the higher off of the ground you are the better. Drain the tank, there is a plastic bolt on the driver side of the tank. BE CAREFUL, THE TANK IS PLASTIC!
If you drain the tank it isn't very heavy. There is enough slack in all lines and wires to drop the tank, excepting a carbon filter cannister located above the tank, but if it comes loose it can be put back into place. There is one hose that must be disconnected, just behind the tank. Loosen the clamp on the hose going to the filler cap and remove the hose. Unbolt the forward bolts on the fuel tank straps.
If you slide the tank out from under the car on the passenger side, you don't have to unhook any additional wires or hoses. You will see the filter/regulator on top of the tank, it looks like a fuel filter but has a ground wire going to it. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMOVE THE FUEL PUMP RETAINER RING! Remove the fuel line and gently remove the fuel line retainer as you will have to reuse it. Some gas will leak out when you remove the fuel line.
Gently pry the plastic tabs away from the filter/regulator, it will pop out. Clean the opening before you install the new one. Use some pressure and it will pop into place.
If you have never installed a fuel tank, getting the steel straps into place can be a pain. The floor jack will help here. Use the unthreaded 1/2" on the end of the bolt to help pry the strap into place.
Where is the fuse box for a 2007 Chrysler 300?
There are two fuse boxes. One is in the trunk, the other is under the hood.
How much horse power does a 2006 Chrysler 300c with a 5.7 V8 hemi makes?

How do you remove speakers in 2006 Chrysler 300?
You have to remove the entire door panel. There are a few screws (phillips) that need to be removed as well as the push pins on the outer perimeter of the panel. Once the panel is separated from the door, you will need to disconnect the door handle by removing the rod that is attached. Disconnect the wiring harness for your windows/locks and disconnect the wire on the back of the courtesy light at the base of the panel. After that, you will see the four screws that hold the actual 6x9 speaker in place. Remove those and disconnect the wiring.
A few other thoughts...some reference charts will tell you that you can get a 5" deep 6x9 for the door but they don't clarify. If you buy an aftermarket speaker, the magnet diameter is significantly larger and interferes with the vertical beam inside the door. Just keep that in mind in your speaker shopping and don't buy the high powered 6x9 unless you're prepared to do a custom installation. My recommendation would be to get an original Boston that you know will fit it (and the wiring is already there) and be done with it.
Why did your oil light come on after oil changed in 2005 Chrysler 300?
Check the wiring for the oil sensor. It is located by the oil filter, and could have been pulled loos during the change.
