HYDRAULIC PUMP ASSEMBLY LeBaron Convertible Review the complete service procedure before starting this repair. The convertible top on this model will raise slowly or make abnormal noise if the hydraulic fluid level is low. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the sling well and floor cover from behind the rear seat. Disconnect pump wire connector and ground connection. Disconnect hydraulic lines from the pump assembly. Remove the motor pump assembly from the vehicle. The rubber mounts are pressed and locked into the mounting bracket. Pull up motor assembly to remove. To install: Position the motor assembly in the vehicle. Connect the hydraulic lines to the pump assembly. Attach the pump wire connector and ground connection. Install the sling well and floor cover behind the rear seat. Connect the negative battery cable. Fill the pump reservoir with Dexron

Behind the door handle there is a screw that needs to come out. There is also a screw in the lower right area hidden in the carpet, you will see the indentation. Pry out the electric door lock trim and disconnect the wire that runs to it from inside the door panel. After the screws are removed, pull the trim at the edges and pop out the metal fasteners. Work your way around from top left to top right. Lift the trim over the edge that runs at the bottom of the window and the door lock button. Disconnect the wire that runs from inside the door to the arm rest-window control switch. The panel will now come off.

Check master switch If burnt or black spots or broken replace ,Check power lead wire (usually red) for cracks ,wear,etc..Replace if needed .Make sure good connect from power lead to switch.Also make sure other connections are good ,including ground connection

If the axle is pulling out of the trans, you proably have a failed motor mount. That lets the engine and trans move around to much.

3.0L Sohc and 3.3L, No.

Disconnect battery cables from battery for 30 minutes and then reconnect battery it then resets.

On a '90 Lebarron, it was hidden up under the dash on the right side of the steering wheel. An easy way to locate it is buy the part then match it. However, I believe the original was brite orange, and maybe the replacement was black. It did not look like typical flasher modules. It was rectangular, plastic covered.

It takes alot of muscles. You have to pull it up. Because of the hydralic air bags that lift the top, you have to gently but firmly pull the top up so you don't damaged them. Takes some time but doable. I did this for a summer then found the motor for the top and replaced it. You could also, disconnect the motor from the pump, this would be much easier.

Remove all the rubbish from the boot, remove the 2 wires and just pull the motor out (it is only fixed with rubber parts)

-> alternately you can remove just the electric part on top from the motor unit with unscrewing the 2 screws, disconnect the wires and remove it to the left side. Usually it is only the coil that is used off, when the motor doesn't work anymore and when you hear the click from the relais, pressing the on/off button. If you replace the coil, the motor should work again like new, but blow out all the particles within the electric motor part

well i have a 93 but it should be the same, on either side of the seat directly behind the front seats there is a metal loop attached to the seat, you will want to stick a large screw driver in there and pry on the plastic clip backwards until the metal clip slides out, its a real PITA in my opinion, basically just pry the inside of the plastic clip while applying pressure up on the cushion until the metal piece slips out, then that's it

Under the hood, driver side. It is up near the base of the windshield.

First buy the replacement plugs your vehicle specifies with the gap set. Then buy a deep socket to fit down over turning portion. You will probably need a rachet with a swivel and short extension, maybe a long one will be needed. If you bought the right replacement plugs then the socket will slide in to unlock the old plugs. If you turn them the wrong way and break one you will require a specialist to drill out the old plug. Do one plug at a time so you won't mess up the distributor wiring order. Probably a good idea to buy new wires. Change them one at a time with the plug. You may need to remove some hoses etc for access, just do it yourself so you can remember how to put it back. Mary

The turn signal flasher is located in the light control moduel. That is located under the steering column. If you are having problems with turn signals, check the fuses before changing the light control moduel.
