I believe that both breeds are great pets! They can both learn to talk and with the right treatment they are both very friendly birds. It really depends what you are looking for, Both birds are fantastic pets so I would chose either!

Cockatiels are mainly very lovable, and personable pets. They like to get attention, so play with him/her daily. Basically, how you play with them is to always talk to them, turn on some music, most cockatiels will dance, and hold them regularly. In general baby chickens will not fight each other this is depending on how old they are but I would bet that no fighting will take place some pecking and pulling may come about but remember there is a "pecking order." .... this is prinsesrau's answer... i don't think any harm would be on each other for the chicks( they might be roosters wich is not very abnormal) i have 13 chicks and they peck but again no harm done

Cockatiels love to sharpen their beaks on the cuttlefish, and chewing on it helps their digestion. The best cuttlefish is that bought from the shops, as it has been preoperly cleaned and processed. If you collect your own, it must be thoroughly washed in plain fresh water and allowed to dry in the open air before giving it to your bird.

We have sometimes had this problem. It is ususally solved by simply having two places to eat and socialize. I.e. one group eats in dining room, other in kitchen, or something to that nature. Also have different activites going on if possible. Of course this is assuming the people have the good sense to not to antagonize the other.

Get him inside and help dry him off, mine used to let me spray him with water as a bath, and afterward blow dry ( not hot )

Once the feathers are dry he will warm up.
