You can maintain the hard drive by defragmenting it with built in windows programs. I don't know haw to do it on a mac. Theres not much alse you can do but not putting unessary data will keep it faster.

Anti-Static Wrist Straps and mats are worn when, people need to use any tool or part of body to touch an electronic internaly. The wrist bands and mats have metal on the inside and sometimes outside to absorb the static electricity from your body. They must be connected to some kind of grounding object (usually via gator clamp) like a metel pole, power supply, ect....

If someone where not to wear one of these and touch a static or electric sensitive object like a motherboard for a computer, the static from your body could ark (jump) to the motherboard and couse it to fry or burn up.

Your computer is jamming up because of worms. Worms tend to slow up the system and are often undetectable. I would suggest that you install a good antivirus ( i would suggest Quickheal) as manually trying to weed out the worm infested files could be difficult. There is also a chance of you deleting a wrong file.

sounds like your processor is overheating and locking up to save itself from toasty death. then, when you try to restart it, it's still to hot to allow you to do it. check to see if your processor fan is dead.

Depends on what is wrong with it. If it is loose, you may be able to fix it by carefully attaching it. If it is okay mechanically but does not produce a space when typing, it probably needs to be very carefully removed and cleaned underneath.

An end user lacks the tools and expertise to successfully replace any of the hard drive platters. In addition, even if you could do it, you would likely have another problem. The platters have to be low-level formatted before they can be used, and IDE/PATA/SATA/SAS drives lack the ability to correctly format platters in this manner. So this would require special equipment.

Then even if you could do all of the above, there might be differences in the metadata and firmware, and the platters still might not be compatible with the drive.

If there's a lot of gas left you could put some octane boost in it or just run it out. -new- If you can get it running but it won't stay running, there are a few ideas. 1. Check the Alternator. Just had an issue with my 92 bonne and it turns out the alternator had gone bad. Cranked and ran then inexplicably would die.

2. Also be sure the battery is good. There is that lovely balance between the battery and the alternator. One will shorten the life of the other and at death you -will- part with your money. 3. Starter going bad. Might be the whole thing, might be solenoid switches. The bad part is a mechanic or the engine savvy would be able to tell you. Good luck!

FM: canonjohnr - lay under front of car, locate front sway bar. Large elec conduit parallels sway bar. two lines go to fans and one line goes to bottom of steering unit. The steering unit line has a blue tipped connector. Somewhere in this connector and the line into the main conduit is a corroded connection (oxidized), a loose connection or bad connection. I found mine today(04/11) and will repair soon.

if your refering to an ECU it is the central control center for your car. it regulates speed, temperature of different thigs like oil--it does every thing you dont do your self. like shifting gears in an automatic transmission.
