Why do black women hate it when white women date black men?
Answer 1
They are not, at least not a large amount of them. Being jealous is something that almost all women are going to experience of other women, regardless of race.
Answer 2
I think it is complete opposite. White women want to be cool like black women. Many listen to black female singers or epitomize female actresses/models. Many white women cannot even stand their pale skin color and regularly use fake tan lotions to look closer to black women in color. Although, most only come out looking fruity orange.
What can be done about stopping racism and prejudice?
Prejudice will never be eliminated. As long as humans have a conscious thought, they will always be prejudice in one way or another. Nevertheless, it may be able to be reduced by a world-wide effort to assimilate, but its success is as unfeasible as the idea of a Utopian Society.
Does the Confederate Flag still signify racism?
Tha definition of racist is one who thinks his race is superior to all others. The word prejudiced is the correct word to use. Contrary to modern public opinion, slavery played a VERY MINOR part in starting the war. The Stars and Bars has as much to do with slavery as the American flag did just before the war started. Slavery was legal in the United States in 1860, so with the same exact argument, one would have to say that the American flag was "racist" (please use prejudiced instead).
Why was Trayvon Martin in the gated community where he was shot?
Trayvon Martin just so happen to be to be close to home . Why is it when a young black youth is seen in a predominately white neighborhood he automatically considered suspicious . When white people come into an all black neighborhood no one Say's anything except the police and then they automatically assume it's a drug deal . You cant win for losing.
Why is equality important in society?
Equal opportunities are important in society and the public services because we are all people and as such we should all have the same rights and opportunities regardless of age, race, gender, sexuality or cultural background. Without equality of opportunity we cannot progress as a society. It is important that we feel that there is no difference between ourselves and anybody else.

What Law prohibits employment discrimination against people with disabilities?
In the United States, there are two federal laws that prohibit employment discrimination against people with disabilities and these are: the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Under these laws, all employers with 15 or more employees are covered including those in the federal sector.
Some states have also enacted laws prohibiting employment discrimination against people with disabilities -- in California under the Fair Employment and Housing Act, it is illegal to discriminate against an applicant or employee on the basis of his disability or medical condition.

There is no REAL reason that racsim began...it has been around since ancient times, when one race feels that they are superior to the other. The western countries for example, when they arrived in china in the 1800's, both nations believed that they were superior than the others. So its more of a believe than a casue.
Race is a classification system of categorizing humans into distinct groups by an ethnic, genetic, geographical, religious, or social affiliation. Interracial refers to within members of the same race.
When did the women's liberation movement start?
It is difficult to answer this question, because there have been women's rights movements in a number of countries. But let me discuss the Women's Rights movement in the US. Some people say that Abigail Adams, wife of Founding Father (and later President) John Adams, began the conversation in 1776, when she asked her husband in a letter to "remember the ladies" with regard to rights for married women (at that time, not only couldn't women vote, but under the common law, married women were considered the property of their husband). Unfortunately, her request was ignored.
The first official gathering of women who advocated for equality under the law was held in 1848 in Seneca Falls, NY. By most accounts, it was a small but passionate group (perhaps 125 people-- mostly women, but a few men), who wanted the right to vote as well as equal legal rights. Some scholars believe that 1848 event was the start of the women's movement. It certainly started what became a long battle for suffrage (the right to vote), as well as for more rights for married women, and better access to education for girls. Women in the US did not get the right to vote till 1920, although in a few individual states, the ability to vote in local elections, plus some other rights, were given as early as the 1870s and 1880s. Property rights, better access to education, and other issues of discrimination were not really addressed till the second wave of the women's movement, which began in the 1960s.
What was the purpose of the Equal Rights Amendment?
The purpose of the Equal Protection Clause in the 14th Amendment is to solidify the citizenship of African Americans. The clause demanded that all states treat citizens equally.
Four causes of segregation are white people, slavery, rich people, and laws.
What year did racism start in America?
Discrimination and xenophobia are endemic conditions to a tribal animals, such as humans are. From the earliest periods of city-states, we see discrimination against the residents of other city-states and peoples of the periphery. The city-states encouraged this in their propaganda to make their population more ready to defend the government of those states.
However, particular instances of discrimination, such as Anti-Black Racism, Anti-Semitism (Judenhass), Anti-Ziganism, Anti-Catholic hatred, Anti-Protestant hatred, Anti-Muhammadanism, etc. come as a result of particular political experiences and historical circumstances. For example, anti-Black Racism developed from the European need to justify the mass enslavement of Black peoples prior to shipping them en masse to the Americas. Prior to this, Blacks were simply a different group of people who were inferior because they were different than "civilized people", just as Vikings were. However, in the 15th and 16th centuries literature developed "explaining" that Blacks were an especially accursed and more monkey-like people and, therefore, it was not only just to enslave them, but desirable since they could be "acculturated" by the European civilizations that would rob them of their lives.
Yes. As long as different races have had contact with each other, there has been racism. It even exists today, though much less and much quieter. It reached its violent peak in the 1960s, and then started to calm down in the 70s.
It means that the most votes win like let's say a law is set and they say national supremacy wins, the most votes
Do Orthodox Christians hate Muslims?
No they do not. They do believe in Jesus, yet they do not think of him as God or the son of God.
Muslims believe only in one God, and that he has no partner or son, and he is the only one who deserves to be worshiped. Muslims believe in jesus just the same as they believe in Muhammad and other prophets, that Jesus was a prophet sent by God to guide people at his time to worship only one God and follow his teachings. Muslims believe in the miracles given to jesus by God. Muslims believe that Jesus was tried to be killed by a group of bad jews, yet God saved him and raised him up to the sky, and sent someone else instead to be killed in his place. Muslims believe that it is Jews that hated Prophet Jesus and christianity and so they managed to corrupt the Bible to misguide the christians. Muslims believe that Jesus will return to earth one day and will rule the world with peace and justice. Muslims are obligated to love all prophets and not to differentiate between anyone of them and no one has the priority over the other. Muslims are obligated to love all mankind, to treat people well, and to respect other people no matter what their religion is. Islam is the closest religion to Christianity, and prophet Muhammad's teachings are very simmilar to Prophet Jesus teachings. WE HAVE ONLY ONE ENEMY, WHICH IS THE WESTERN MEDIA THAT DISTURBED OUR IMAGE AND MADE US ALL TERRORISTS.
It isn't but what people do is find a bad quality in someone who is a different race and turn this into racism as a way of reacting to any bad qualities they find.
No!Everyone says "yah you can have a six pack" yah if your under the age of ten... or a young age is basically what I mean, everyone says yah, but it's not true. I am here to tell you i amvery fit, do sit ups evryday and still only have a four pack just like all the other girls i know
Can you draw unemployment at age 72 if you were working full time and lose your job?
As long as you qualify as any other worker who is applying for unemployment, your age does not matter. In fact, just the opposite may apply. If you could establish you were fired BECAUSE of your age, you might be eligible under the Federal Age Discrimination laws that prohibit discharges due to age. In that case, you could receive substantially more than unemployment benefits would provide.
Besides the fact that this is really two questions, this topic would tend to be considered very subjective. To answer your first question, racism persists while overt prejudice is less prevalent in different ways. Reading Newsweek or Time magazines will probably reveal some example of some study showing how it still exists. One example of how it exists in hiring practices was demonstrated when two sets of resumes were sent to different companies; one set with White/Caucasian-sounding names and the other with Black/African-descendant-sounding names (according to those who did the study, not me). The names were the only differences; the credentials were (supposedly) identical. After they were sent out, the group making the study recorded how many of each group got call backs or offers for an interview. The results showed that the group with White/Caucasian-sounding names got the majority of positive responses. While I'm a little hesitant to accept that study's results outright, I think it warrants merit. As for your second question, the best way to promote tolerance in your town or city is to begin exhibiting tolerance from yourself. Do you come across people who don't look like you and get weary or suspicious for no reason? Do you feel one group of people is the cause for a specific problem in society? If so, you need to look at yourself (and maybe your comments and mannerisms) before you go after your town or another one. Even if you're not racially prejudiced, maybe you are in other ways. Do you look down on homosexuality or make gay jokes? Do you stay away from people because of their religious practices or just cause they look weird in their odd headwear? Tolerance is a human issue, not a color one, and if people don't demonstrate it outright, it won't spread that far. Ghandi once said "Be the change you want to see in the world." Sounds like a saying you (or the people you had in mind when asking) should listen to.
What would life be like without money?
We would revert to a barter system - exchanging goods directly (ex: I trade you ten chicken and two pounds of cheese for your bicycle) instead of going through money.
See related link for problems with barter.
There are two types of segregation. The first type is called de jure segregation. De jure means segregation because of a law, mandate, or forced reason. Examples of this are aparthied, and different schools for different races. The other type is de facto. De facto is because its how we're wired. It's like blacks sitting on one side, and Hispanics on the other side of a room, just because those are their friends. It is not forced. Examples of this are dating people only in your race, and Little Haiti or Chinatown.
Why do some straight people hate gay people?
When some people look down on other people who are gay, it is called "homophobia" these people are mostly religious and think it is a bad thing to be gay , or even worse, they believe that this is a "chosen" life style.
More education is needed for homophobes, sadly they do not see it that way. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing the matter with gay people, that is just the way human beings are born.
