How do you remove the dash on a 98 Lumina?
First, remove the panel below the steering column. The are a few snap-in fasteners. Then unscrew the two or three screws along the bottom edge of the plastic dash cover. Now, using a flat blade screwdriver, gently pry around the entire panel. There are are seven or eight clips all around the panel. When all is loose, put the car in low gear to get the shift lever out of the way. Also, if you have tilt steering, tilt the wheel down. It should then be easy to move the panel out. Also, before you pull it too far, disconnect the trunk release button from the back of the panel. If by dash, you mean the instrument cluster, you now have to unscrew the screws from the instrument cluster. If you have a column shift, you will have to disconnect the indicator panel (should be two screws) at the bottom of the cluster. The panel will tilt back towards you, and allow you to disconnect the wiring harness. With the gear shift lever down, the cluster should be relatively easy to remove.

How do you replace the water pump on a 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo Z34?
On my 1997 iT'S at the front end with the belt going the other way with a SMOOTH pulley. it's an easy change. pull the pully bolts, take off belt, then pull water pump. This is actually a harder job than appears at first. The Haynes and Chilton manuals are useless on this subject. The reason is that one of the water pump bolts is obstructed by the PS pump pulley. You have to remove the PS pump to remove the last bolt on the water pump. Unless the engine is out of the car, it all has to be done by feel. The two bolts that hold on the PS pump are at approximately 12 and 6 on the pump. You have to rotate the pulley to a place where there is an access hole to get a socket onto the mounting bolts. Both bolts are 13mm and are fairly easily removed. However, putting the pump back on is an adventure. You just have to move it around until you get the bolt seated in the hole. I suggest getting the top bolt back in first. It will be much easier to get the bottom one in if you do that. It took me about 20 minutes to get the top bolt in and about three minutes to get the bottom one in. If you are given to fits of rage, I would suggest taking it to a mechanic. :)

Where is the camshaft position sensor located on a 2001 Ford Power stroke?
It is on the passenger side of the engine block. It is accessible from under the truck, and
located about the 10 o'clock position behind the crankshaft front pulley.
The camshaft position sensor is located on the front passenger side of the timing cover above the crankshaft damper pulley. The sensor is held in by a 10 mm bolt mounted through a retainer. The retainer is part of the sensor and serviced with the new sensor. When replacing sensor, it is best to purchase from Ford dealer, or International dealer. Ask parts salesman to ensure sensor is updated unit as the old models are prone to failure. Make sure sensor is fully seated prior to bolt tightening to avoid possible oil leak.
Why do i Have water on passenger side floor on 1992 Toyota pickup?
does it rain alot where you are at/has it been raining?
if it has, cover your truck with something like a tarp or whatever.
then if it isn't or wont rain. get a hose and spray the truck down. By doing this you can see if you have a hole of some type that the water is going through to get into your car.
good luck.
You could have a heater core leak ... water circulates from the radiator and into the cabin area. This is used for heating.
I have an 89 MD+ 1 for spares they both had water leaks checked with a torch in corners under dash board had rust holes visible. removed guard to access problem for repairs.Check both sides seems to be a common problem

How do you replace stock stereo on 95 Saturn SL2?
Having just finished spending 4 days tracking wires to install a stereo in a 95 SL1, I would suggest going to your local car audio store and purchasing a wiring harness. It'll run you about $15 and save you LOTS of headaches. Saturn's stereo harness is an intergal part of the dash wiring, so there are things going through your stereo that have nothing to do with it; i.e. dash lights, back up lights, door chime, etc. The harness will incorporate all of that for you.
1998 Dodge Durango Recharged AC 30 days ago now blowing hot air Possible problems?
You apparently have a refrigerant leak. I am having the same issue with my 98 Durango. My neighbor who is a mechanic has put a flourescent dye in my system which will hopefully show me where the problem is when it leaks down again. Meanwhile, you might try charging with refrigerant with leak stop solution. This will sometimes stop slow leaks around seals, connections, etc. However, there is some risk that it may clog the H-valve (expansion valve) so don't use too much of this. One can should be sufficient. Then complete the charge with regular 134 refrigerant. If this doesn't do it, you'll probably need to take it to an AC specialist $$$.
