The lift gate on a 2003 Dodge Durango can be opened from the inside if the latch is not working. There is a latch on the floor close to the door that can be tripped with the use of a screwdriver to open the gate. The cable for the gate might need to be repaired after this.

Where is the camshaft sensor located on the engine for a b2300 Mazda 1996?

On 1995 through 1997 2.3L engines, the camshaft position sensor is located on the Synchronizer Assembly which is mounted on the oil pump assembly behind the inner timing belt cover. A high point on the oil pump sprocket triggers the sensor. - Haynes Repair Manual #36071, 1994-2005 Mazda Pickups, B2300, B2500, B3000, B4000.

If you look into the engine bay from the driver side wheel well you should see it with wires connected to it. Google an image of the sensor beforehand so you know what it looks like. My sensor had 2 small bolts holding it in and I was able to get one out from the wheel well but I had to move the compressor and steering pump mounting bracket off to the side get to the other one. The replacement I installed only had one bolt which I will be able to get to from the wheel well in the future.

Where is the camshaft position sensor located on a 2001 Chrysler sebring 2.7L?

For the 2.7l v6 engine, it is located on the left engine bank at the very front of the head. Look down at the front of the engine head, right under the top radiator hose and you will see a connector that is attached to the camshaft position sensor. It is held in place with a 13mm bolt. The top of the bolt has a wire loom cap on it that supports the wiring harness. Remove the plastic cap from the screw top and then remove the bolt with the 13mm wrench. After the bolt is removed, pull the sensor out. It is easier to remove the bolt by first removing the connector from the sensor.

Where is the camshaft position sensor located on a 2001 Civic EX?

If you are pulling OBD code P1361, or if you are having problems with the car periodically losing power suddenly (revs drop to about 1k, car will not accelerate, check engine light comes on) there is a good post here:

If you have the hood up, facing the engine, it is just to the right of the valve cover, underneath (closer to the ground) and behind (inset an inch or so) the timing belt cover. The sensor is oriented so that oval female connector it is facing the driver's side wheel. To locate it without first taking everything off, stand on the driver's side of the engine bay, and look or feel down the gap between the engine and the steel hoses (power steering IIRC) attaching to the quarter panel nearest you. There should be some cables terminating at a round rubber grommet 4-6" from the top of the engine - this is the electrical connection to the CMP. The gray plastic piece the grommet plugs in to is the timing belt cover.

To replace it you can do pretty much all the work with a 10mm socket - have some socket extensions of various length, gloves and patience. You'll have to remove the valve and timing belt cover - start to finish, it took me about three hours. I suggest getting a manual for visual and technical reference.

I was able to find this part at a local O'Reilly - part number CSS1618. Other stores (including dealers) in my area did not stock them. And, not only did they stock the part, they were the cheapest source - I compared the two parts once I had the original out, and the the new part was identical to the OEM, down to the factory markings.

Good luck HTH...

Too much pressure in cooling system no sign of water in oil or vise versa what else might be the problem?

Thermostat be not be opening creating excessive pressure

Radiator cap may be defective

You can get excessive pressure by running straight water in the system. Antifreeze also provides boil-over protection. Run a 50:50 mix. Don't mix red (GM) with green...it causes sediment to clog the radiator.

How do you replace the water pump on a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville?

I just replaced the water pump on my 1996 Bonneville with the 3800 engine. I'm not real experienced with working under the hood, but I managed to get it done in an hour or so with little trouble. You'll need a socket/ratchet set with an extension, some open-ended box wrenches, and it might help to have a special compound to put on the gasket of the new pump when you put it on. I can't offer a full list of steps in order (this was my first time and I had some help), but here are some tips to keep in mind:

-Make sure you have a clear diagram of the serpentine belt before you take it off. Your Bonneville user's manual (if you have one) should have it in there, otherwise you can draw a picture of it yourself before you remove it, or better yet, check a Chilton or Haynes manual at the library. This is important.

-On mine I also had to remove the starter to get at one of the bolts on the water pump.

-Once the old pump comes off, be ready for some water/fluid to drain out.

-Unless your model is different from mine, you shouldn't even need to get under the vehicle for the replacement.

-The pump I bought was $40; you might even find one for less.

-It may help to have an extra set of hands to put the belt back on at the end. By the way, this would be a good time to replace your belt if it needs it.

-You'll want to flush your coolant system once the replacement is done.
