This sounds like a wheel bearing issue. Raise the front wheels and turn them by hand. They should turn smoothly with no hint of a vibration unless the bearing is bad. Also check for play in the bearing by rocking the wheel in/out at the top/bottom.

Do not pry off the face! You have a faulty blower motor resistor assembly. The part number is 04885635ab If you look on the bottom of the motor housing on the passenger side (about where the passenger toes would point) you will see a wire harness that is a long oval in shape and has 5 or 6 wires in it. You will need a 7 or 8mm 1/4 inch drive socket with a u-joint attachment. on the firewall side of the connector, there is a sliding lock that keeps the connector on the plug. you will have to slide the lock toward the drivers side and the squeeze a small blak tab to pull the connector off of the plug. Once the connector is off, use the socket to remove the 2 screws. It will drop right down once the screws are removed. Once it is removed, it looks like a 2 inch by 3 inch by 16th of an inch thick piece of metal with a plug on it. The resistor pack dissipates ALOT of heat so do not take it out until the truck has been off for 30 minutes or so. I priced the part at a dealership in Colorado 2 days ago for $12.77 YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE THE FACE OR DASH OFF! CHECK THE PART NUMBER BEFORE YOU PURCHASE AS YOU MIGHT HAVE A DIFFERENT REVISION.

the distributer cap is located in the back of the engine and to get to is is relatively painless but you have to remove the engine cover on the inside of the vehicle which is under the dash in the middle of the vehicle which there is 2 big standard screws holding it to the firewall and 2 clamps holding the back side to the floor towards the seat. once you gain access to the engine compartment from the inside of the vehicle you will see the distributor cap right there looking at you. it is usually held on to the distributor by 2 small Phillips screws and will tell you first hand if the cap has not been changed in a while you might want to use a nut driver to break them loose and re-install in just reverse.

is it losing collant? check for oil in coolant or coolant in oil. if so it may have a bad intake or head gasket. if it only idles rough when it gets really hot and the coolant level is okay you probably need a thermostat or possibly a new radiator.

it's actually fairly easy. there are screws where the speedometer is and under the dash. remove them and the front part of the dash just drops. now the kit for aftermarket installations is hard to find for a 2001. the kit i used was for a 2000 intrepid. fits perfectly.

It will be a large cylindrical object (about 4-6 inches diameter by 6-8 inches long) with another small cylinder attached to it. It is typically located low down on the driver's side rear of the engine block. It is actually mounted on the transmission bellhousing and the positive (+) battery cable should lead directly to it.

It is located underneath between the transmission and driveshaft.

if you cant afford to fix right away and you dont need your (location and weather permitting) heat / defrost. just bypass the heater core. Theres no real risk of fire,but possible burns to the passenger or driver if it does decide to burst.plus its smelly and can ruin the carpet and rust the floor boards over a period of time. You can bypass the hoses at the fire wall (under the hood) by mating them together.

Pads or shoes are probably worn out. Get this repaired ASAP, or you will end up spending more money on rotors or drums that these worn parts destroy. Do not ignore this.

The Bergeron model is a very simple cable model but occurs very useful in simulated systems. The model is constant frequency one based on travelling waves. i guess ill have to answer my own question .first disconect drive shaft from rearend and wire it up out of the way.( heres where i punt) then remove pinion nut ,flang and retainer. then pry out old seal and install new seal. now to get out there in the rain and snow and do it. man i hate vermont.

The control for the heat on the dash has a control for the back seat and also has a setting that says something like "Rear Control". This allows the passengers in the back seat to control their heat independently via a temperature control in the back seat (on the back of the center console).

So you could have the heat on in the front and the rear on "rear control" and if the passenger in the back has set their control to cold, it wold blow cold air in the back even though you have the heat on in the front.

Open the hood and reach behind the headlight and twist out the lamp socket. Then take the bulb out from the socket. Replace with new bulb and twist socket back in.

since it's a tight squeeze reaching behind, there is one small hex/torq bit screw on the fender side of the headlight. take out that screw and the headlight slides out on rails. pretty simple if you have the right screw driver.

Bad EGR, Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve. That is what reduces NoX emissions
