What size of wiper blades does a 2002 dodge intrepid have?
The 2002 Chrysler/Dodge Intrepid wiper blade sizes are 24" drivers and 22" passenger side wiper blades. See sources and related links below for more information. Since there are over 22 different wiper arm attachments, do not buy wipers just by length only. Be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment.
What type of car battery does a 2000 Dodge Intrepid take?
If you walk into Walmart, KMart, or any auto parts store and ask for a battery for a 2000 dodge intrepid, they'll show you which ones fit your car. Generally, for more money, you'll get a better battery, like one that has gel instead of liquid, which stands up better to extremem temperature changes and is more high performance. I use a champion battery because it costed less. It's been a year- so far so good. What it really comes down to is- How many cylinders and what displacement is your engine? That tells you how many cold cranking amps you need to turn your engine. The rest is quality of manufacture issues and price.

How do you put transmission fluid into 1996 Dodge Intrepid?

How do you replace the starter in a 1998 Dodge Intrepid?
Make sure the engine is cool.
> If you need to work on the starter from beneath, roll the vehicle onto ramps or jack up the front end and lower it onto jackstands. Observe all recommended safety precautions and make doubly sure the rear wheels are blocked.
> Check that the ignition key is in the OFF position.
> Loosen the negative battery-cable bolt and remove the cable from the terminal with a terminal puller.
> Detach the battery/starter cable from the solenoid or starter.
> If working with a starter-mounted solenoid, remove any additional wires, noting their respective positions.
> Usually two or three bolts attach the starter horizontally through the mounting flange. General Motors vehicles use vertical bolts, and you may find shims between the starter block and the engine. If this is the case, don't lose them (or it)you'll need it (or them) to mount the new starter.
> If there is a support bracket on the front of the starter, remove it.
> Drop the starter out of the car. This can be a chore. You might have to turn the wheels, or, on some Fords, disconnect an idler arm. Oil pressure sending units, transmission oil cooler lines or brackets, the ground strap, the exhaust pipe, a crossmember, or the housing cover for the flywheel may have to be loosened or removed to provide adequate clearance.
> Mount the new starter, reversing the procedure used to remove the old one. You GM do-it-yourselfers have no doubt reinstalled the original shim(s), and have done a fine job of doing so, but if there is any extra engine noise or starter whine when you crank it up, shim adjustment may be called for. A starter noise when you crank the engine means you need to either remove one full-length shim or add one short shim to the outboard pad. A high-pitched whine after the engine is running calls for adding full-length shims one at a time (but no more than four) until the whine disappears.
> Re-hook the battery/starter cable, along with the additional wires that may be present in starter-mounted solenoid situations. care of: http://www.advanceautoparts.com/default.asp
Why am i getting an error code p1698 for a 1996 dodge intrpid?
i read somewhere that it has to do with theTCM (trasmission control module) and your instrument panel might stop working.
From experience, we have replaced all of the listed items above also the plenum gasket and cleaned the upper intake. No change. Most recently while changing an injector we decided to remove the fuel rail and found that the fuel rail was rusted and clogged causing the misfire codes. After replacing both fuel rails the idle was normal and the only issue now is an EGR code, which we are having trouble diagnosing.
I have seen failed lower intake gaskets do that.
Why did they take 'Striperella' off the air?
"Striperella," an animated series created by Stan Lee, was taken off the air primarily due to low ratings and mixed reviews. Despite its unique premise and adult humor, it struggled to find a consistent audience and faced criticism for its portrayal of women. Additionally, the early 2000s saw a shift in viewer preferences, leading networks to prioritize different types of content. Ultimately, these factors contributed to the show's cancellation after just one season.
How do you change out the freeze plug on a 3.5 l 1997 intrepid?
That all depends on the location of the faulted freeze plug. If it is located on the block (3 on each side ) they are fairly simple just pop them out and replace ... if it is the plugs on the head you are in for a fun job and i strongly recommend professional help because you may need to remove the transmission to access the 2 plugs behind the bell housing... best of luck

As another poster said, You could be low on oil. If you are seeing the indicator 'flicker' when braking and stopping, and always at that time, I doubt if it's a wiring issue (shorted or open). You might have an oil pressure problem. Does your car have a 2.7L engine in it? They are notorious for plugged oil galleries in the blocks, impeding the flow of oil, which would explain the pressure fluctuations and subsequent flickering indicator light. These plugged galleries end up starving essential engine parts of oil, causing catastrophic engine failure. I bought a 2000 Intrepid ES, but I specifically looked for an engine OTHER than the 2.7, and got one with a 3.2L instead. Just Google Chrysler, or Dodge 2.7L engine and I'll bet you'll find lots of discussion about the high failure rate of that particular engine. Good luck. == == == == cause you are low on oil or you have a short
I was hoping for an answer, cuz mine does that too!
How do you change a sway bar link on a 1997 Dodge Intrepid?
First of all, this is not a job for the average Saturday home mechanic, particularly if you live in the "rust belt" where roads are salted in the winter and undercar corrosion is rampant. You didn't say, but I assume you meant front sway bar link rather than rear. The fronts on these cars have a reputation for giving up the ghost. Getting the old link off the car may require special tools including an impact wrench, a nut splitter, and as a last resort, an oxyacetylene torch. If the fasteners are very rusty, it may take an hour or more to remove the old links.
1. Jack up the car and support on jack stands.
2. Remove front wheels and tires.
3. Remove the upper and lower nuts which attach the link to the strut and the sway bar.
These nuts are an unusual size, use an 18mm wrench, with a 6 point 8mm socket to hold the stud from spinning. Penetrating oil will probably be needed, as well as lots of patience.
4. Remove the links. You may need to raise the strut assembly slightly with a hydraulic floor jack to remove tension applied by the sway bar before the link can be removed. Be careful not to jack too much or you may raise the entire car off the jack stand (dangerous).
5. Install the new links. The kind with grease fittings are good. If you remember to grease them regularly, their life will be greatly extended. Torque the nuts to 70 lbs-ft.
6. Install wheels and tires, torque lugs in 2 steps in a star pattern.
7. Jack car down and check final lug torque to 95 lbs-ft while on the ground.

You will find it right behind the lower right part of the dash on the drivers side near the center console or ash tray. It is a blue connector attached to the knee bolster.
Where is the fuse box on a 2001 Dodge Intrepid?
The fuse box is located inside the end panel on the drivers side of the dash. The cover is "diguised" as just an end cap of the dash, but you can remove it and the fuses will be in plain view. You will need to have the door open to gain access to the end cap.
What does the service code PO155 mean for a 2002 Dodge Intrepid?
It means oxygen sensor bank 2, sensor 2. Before replacing parts you will need to check for vacuum leaks. Just because you have a code it doesn't necessarily mean that part is defective.
