How do you reset replaced ecm to key?

Attempt to start the engine, it will probably fire then stop, with the security lamp on. Do not turn the switch off, let it stay on till the lamp goes out, (about 10 min) then attempt to start again. Once again it will fire then stop with the security lamp on.

When you have went thru this procedure three or four times, and the new key code is learned, the engine will run.

How do you replace the evaporator core in 2000 dodge ram 1500?

You will need to remove the dash and HVAC housing to access the evaporator core.

Start with disconnecting the battery.

You will then need to recover the Freon from the ac system and drain the antifreeze.

Under the hood you will need special tools to disconnect the ac lines at the firewall, remove the heater hoses, remove the engine computer and remove four nuts that hold the HVAC housing.

Inside you will have to remove the trim on the sides of the windshield, trim at the base of the doors, remove the trim below the steering column, remove the steering column, remove the trim on top of the transmission tunnel, remove the airbag computer, remove screws across the top of the dash and on the sides, unplug numerous connectors and remove the dash. You can just lay it on top of the seats.

The HVAC housing is then held in with two more nuts.

Once you get it out you then remove the screws that hold the Heater core in place. You need to remove the screws that hold the top cover on.

You reverse all steps to install.

Do not forget to fill the antifreeze and warm the engine up before driving.

You will also need access to an ac vacuum/refill machine to recharge the ac.

Why does air only blows out the defrost when you turn the mode control to any other position on a 01 dodge ram 3500?

Something about the vacuum linr being unattached, maybe from the firewall. im trying to figure out the same.

The main vacuum supply line is disconnected or cracked, probably near the engine. All the HVAC doors operate on vacuum. When there is no vacuum the HVAC system goes into defrost mode.

A four wheel drive of weight 25 kg with 500 RPM should have torque?

How much torque? I don't know. Should it have torque? Always. I have a motor that can spin close to 10'000 RPM, but I can stop it with my finger because it has very low torque. A good way to remember this is, the faster it spins, the lower the torque. You can increase the torque by using a gear chain to gear-up, trading RPM for torque. Gearing Down is the reverse.

How do you remove the ignition switch on a 2001 Tundra?

"you can't unless you grind off the bolts from the steering column bracket. Most times people just change the whole steering column because its all part of one unit."

Actually, you can do it without grinding the bolts -

remove the lower trim panel (below the steering wheel)

insert your ignition key and turn it to acc

on the bottom of the ignition switch, there is a button you have to push in and you can then remove the switch

How do you know if the auto transmission fluid is low on 2000 Pontiac Sunfire 2.4 GT?

Low Auto Trans FluidYou can check the fluid level on the dip stick located in the engine compartment. It will be labeled as such (Transmission Fluid). This must be checked when the engine is running and at running temperature. Very simple to do.

EDIT:

While the answer provided by someone else (above) is correct on most makes and models, it is incorrect in regards to the the sunfire of production years 2000 and up. There is no dipstick on a 2000 sunfire as I have owned two and know from first hand experience (2.2 and 2.4 although not GT) GM decided that since the fluid never really needs replacing for the life of the vehicle that they could scrap the dipstick all together. Fortunately there is a very accessable red cap on the top of the transmission (driver side) which is labeled. Either take your car in to the mechanic, or top it up yourself. Just be carefull not to add too much fluid or the pressure could cause a leak and possibly a fire should it spill onto the exhaust or engine from what ive been told (informed by a mechanic).
