Answer: Intermittent problems are very hard to diagnose. Your no start problem may be your fuel pump. Try to check it for pressure during the not start problem. When does a fuel filter get replaced on a 2003 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi?

A partially clogged fuel filter can cause the fuel pump to work harder and in the end cause premature fuel pump failure. Due to how expensive it is to replace a fuel pump, I recommend you replace the fuel filter every 50,000 miles. Cheap insurance against pump failure.

You may need to press the new bearings into the hubs, and the hubs may be damaged when doing this so additional parts may be needed... look at the new part first but READ UP ON IT... a manual will help with diagnosis and repair, and a shop manual should be available at the local library in the reference section for FREE, make copies of the right pages, good luck...:)

How do you replace the rear sway bar links on a 2003 GMC Envoy?

You have to have an Allen wrench to hold the ball joint straight while turning the nut with a wrench. Once you get it loose a bit, then you can hold the ball joint still with a set of vise grips and remove the nut the rest of the way. It is good to let it soak with some penetrant oil first. Buy after market style links and they have a place for a wench on the ball joint so it is easier to hold than the stock type. Moog is a good replacement part.

What transmission fluid do you use for a 1997 dodge Dakota sport truck?

,

The owner's manual for my '97 calls for ATF+2. I think it also says on the stick what type of fluid should be used. I'm pretty sure that when I had my transmission serviced they used ATF+4. I was told that the 4 replaced 2 + 3. It's been well over a year since I had it done and all seems fine.

Good luck .........

Where is the blower motor resister on a 2002 Dodge Dakota?

It's on the bottom of the passenger side dashboard, visible when looking up from the floor. It is about 1" x 3" and will have a 5-wire harness attached and be retained by two screws.

It's also one of the easiest things you'll ever have to replace. Just disconnect the harness, remove the 2 screws and slip the module out. Reinstallation is just the opposite.
