Can a timing belt hit a valve on 97 dodge stratus?

The timing belt itself can not hit the valve unless you put it inside the intake manifold.

If the belt breaks on a 2.0L it will almost always bend valves.

The 2.4L and 2.5L very seldom bend valves.

What size door speakers does a 1995 dodge stratus have?

6.5" (just replaced the stereo and front speakers in this vehicle)

Use a screwdriver to gently pry off the metal cover, starting from flat edge close to the door seemed to be the easiest.

Securing: The stock speakers have three screws to secure to door. All modern replacements have four screws so you'll have to do some minor modifications. I held the new speakers up, marked the screw locations, then drilled holes (two bit sizes smaller then the screws included in the new speakers). Connect the speaker wires, check they work and zip them in.

Connecting: The Stock speakers have an old, proprietary flat-pin style connector. New speakers should have connectors with a length of extra wire. You'll have to cut off the old connector. (I soldered in the new ones and covered with heat shrink tubing).

A majority of all the interior pieces in the new superduty dont have any hardware( screws, nuts, bolts, etc.) The panels around the "line in jack", T/C, reverse backup sensors, and 4x4 knob just pull out, use a small screwdriver and be careful not to crack the plastic. Its pretty thin.

How do you change the plug wires on a 2004 dodge stratus?

Buy a set of wires. Start by removing the wire from 1 of the plugs. Follow the wire back to the other end and remove it from the "distributor". Measure the wire against the new ones to find the same wire. Replace it the same way you took the other one off. Move on to the next wire.

How to change rear main seals on 1998ford f150 6cly auto?

I'm currently working on the same project for my 89 F250, 7.5/460. I'd like to mention that you will have to loosen (NOT completly) the other cap bolts for each piston. This allows the crank to fall down (about 1/32 of an inch) away from the upper portion of the seal in the block. Now, the hard part is getting those seals out! I haven't figured that out quite yet. I've tried tapping them around-n-out with no luck. A "Sneaky Pete" tool isn't a option for me either since the seal pieces have a metal rod center (not allowing the corkscrew to work on the Sneaky Pete tool) Good luck to you. You have to pull off the oil pab first. I don'tknow what how much room you have but you may need to raise engine some. Once you get the oil pan off, take off the rear amin bearing cap. This would be a good time to see how much wear the crank/bearing has by using plasti-gauge. The cap you pulled off will have 1/2 of the seal in it. The other 1/2 is still around the upper end of the crank. Push it out and around the crank to remove. Take new seal, making sure it is pointed the right way, put it in the upper, put the new bottom on the bearing cap, bolt it back up, torque it and put pan back on. Get you a repair manual, will make things much easier.

How do you change the battery on a 1996 Dodge Stratus?

on the stratus i believe that the car has to be on a lift and the battery has to be taken out from under the car via the wheel well. I am exactly sure if this is totally correct because I'm more of a GM guy.

You are right the car has to be lifted, the wheel well front piece has a few screws you have to undo to open it. Theres your battery. Some people find it easier to remove with the tire remove but it can be done without doing that.

How do you adjust the headlights on a 1998 dodge stratus?

park your car/truck right in front of outside wall or garage door. Leave enough room to walk between bumper and wall comfortably. Now with lights on make small mark on the wall right in the center of light (best if done in the early morning or evening so lights spots are clearly visible yet not to dark to see.) Now back your vehicle 25-30 ft. Rite behind the headlights are adjustments screw/s one screw for dim/bright on same bulb, two if separate bulbs for dim/bright settings. Then you simply turn those screws until the marks you previously made on the wall are again in the line of the beam (best if 1 to 2 inches below mark so oncoming traffic isn't blinded
