If a dog has been in dog fights before and kills another dog and mutilates it will he be more likely to do it again?

All dogs will fight with one another but an average dog will quit when the other dog surrenders or submits. A dog that continues to fight until the other dog is killed is overly animal aggressive and will continue to fight and kill no matter what training or conditioning is given. it is in his genes and can not be altered out. This dog can never be trusted with another animal.

YES!!!

What is secondary erythrocytosis in a dog?

Break this down into two parts. Erythrocytosis means an elevated red blood cell count. Secondary means that it is due to other causes than "first" or usually considered, or that develops due to some other "primary" cause. For example, when you get a cold, a virus is the primary infection, and antibiotics are not useful. Some people, however, due to a poor immune system or other complicating factors, also contract a bacterial infection (Strep throat, or a sinus infection), and this would be a secondary infection.

Secondary erythrocytosis is an elevated red blood cell count NOT due to a "primary" bone marrow disease called polycythemia vera. (Polycythemia means a high cell count, usually red blood cells.) Therefore, there are several causes of secondary erythrocytosis, and there would be multiple tests necessary to determine the specific cause. Leading possibilities would be any condition that lowers the oxygen levels in the blood stream (lung or heart disease, pneumonia, heartworm infection) and several tumor or cancer conditions.

Why is it bad to freeze Gatorade?

When you freeze Gatorade all the electrolyes go to the top. As you drink all the electrolyes at the top, it is too much for your body to handle. There is only one case I know of where a man died from it, but he had a heart condition on top of that. Basically, I wouldn't risk it.

Is drinking ice cold water bad?

Drinking ice cold water is not inherently bad for you, however, some people may find it uncomfortable or irritating to their throat or stomach. It can also temporarily decrease your core body temperature, but this effect is minimal and generally not a health concern.

35 lb bag of Dog Food is how many gallons?

You need to do some guestimating and conversions to get close to an answer on this.

One cup of kibble weighs approximately 4 ounces. There are 16 ounces in 1 pound.

35 lbs x 16 ounces = 560

560 / 4 ounces in one cup of kibble = 140 cups

there are 16 cups in a gallon:

140 cups / 16 = 8.75 Gallons in a 35 lb of Dog Food (Kibble)

Why would a ten month old staffy bite her feet?

Hi,

I currently have two staffies and they always do the same thing.

Although just to clairfy, is it "biting" biting or more of a licking and sucking?

If so this is because staffys are really sensitive to many backyard plants and weeds.

It is common for a staffy to bite/lick their paw, scratch there ear.

You can simply buy some cream or antibiotics from the vet to sooth the rash or allergy.

If it is just general biting maybe she is feeling bored or entetraine dlike a dog would chase its tail. If so simple buy a new dog toy or maybe think of introducing a new dog into the house!

Hope i could help

Is mold on peaches dangerous?

In general, mold on peaches can produce toxins that may cause allergic reactions or respiratory issues in some individuals. Why would blood plasma turn pink?

There are two reasons that I know of:

One is it's just more fat than normal in your plasma which may be caused by too fatty diet or some kind of diseases or disorders such as kidney dysfunction, gallbladder removal,...

The other reason: When your blood undergoes hemolysis (destruction of red blood cells)due to one or more of a variety of possible causes, hemoglobin from dead cells are released into the plasma and wouldn't suspend as normal red blood cells when the blood is centrifuged. And those hemoglobins are what causes your blodd plasma to be pinkish.

What medicine can kill harmful bacteria?

That would be antibiotics. Antibiotics work with your immune system, reving it up, so it can kill batcerias in case of, per example, bronchitis or a strep in your throat. Topical antibiotics will also work on skin for cuts and such to prevent infection. However, you should not forget that antibiotics will also kill GOOD bacteria in your system, such as the ones in the digestive system and in a woman's vagina. There is a wide range of antibiotics that can be taken in pill form, and, as far as I am aware, they are only available through a prescription from your doctor. Some mild topical antibacterial cream are however available in pharmacies.
Antibiotes
In 1928 Alexander Fleming found a medicine that can kill bacteria he got it from mould.

Antibiotics.

What is the treatment for chrysanthemums with white rust?

* if the infection is minor, remove infected leaves as they appear and burn or place in the garbage. Take care not to spread the infection by touching uninfected plants or composting them. Whole plants may need to be removed in the same way if the fungus has spread.

* Fungicides are available and a combination of two are often used.

* in future, grow resistant varieties as some are more prone to infection than others. Avoid conditions that promote fungal infections, such as overhead and night watering, or planting into areas within three months of the last infection.

Could a lack of sunshine cause a dog to become ill or have a Vitamin D deficiency?

Yes. Every living thing needs some sunshine. Dogs should either be played with out in the backyard or taken for walks at least twice a day for that exercise. It keeps them healthy (you too) and happy. If you are working and can't do this then hire someone you trust (even a child as young as 12) and pay them money to walk your dog at least once during the day. There are also Dog Walking Services. Instead of filling your pet full of vitamins get out during the day with the dog and go for a walk. It will do you both good. Bring the water along for the dog too. There is a new packet made from a material that you can attach to yourself and it opens up into a dish and you can pour some of your own water into it for your dogs. Dogs get over heated and dehydrated just like humans.

What makes your dog sick froth at the mouth shake head and throw up after contact with frog?

It is a toxin released from the frog onto his skin to protect itself. I learned about this while in the U.S. Territory of GUAM. I know the frog comes from Australia and can grow to get pretty big. If they release the toxin and your dog licks or picks the frog up with its mouth it will get them sick and can be fatal for puppies still developing immune systems.

How do you decrease a temperature in a dog?

Well, in order to lower the temperature in a dog, you should first ask a specialist, like a vet. But, if you really want to know, (this answer may sound crazy) you could put it in a freezer, or make it really cold.

Yeah, that'll work. Let's assume you'd like to keep the dog alive? Crush up a baby aspirin and feed it to it.

What is the treatment for low red blood count anemia low platelets and fever in dogs?
