How do you replace the brakes on 95 Chevrolet Corsica?
You'll find lots of fudge recipes out there that use anything but sugar to provide the sweetening power. This is a cagey fudge-cheat that attempts to avoid the problem of gritty fudge disasters. The only down-side to this solution is that sugar really helps make fudge tastier . . . if you do it right.
The trick is to learn enough about fudge chemistry to work with good old granulated sugar and craft a creamy, fudgy pot of goodness without the grainy texture. Here's how.
What You'll Need to Make Great Fudge
The Secret to Great Fudge
Great fudge depends on keeping large sugar crystals from forming in the cooling candy. Large crystals mean gritty, mealy fudge. Small crystals, tiny actually, create creamy, dense fudge. Whatever basic fudge recipe you use, remember to follow these steps exactly -- every time:
Cook your preferred fudge mixture with the lid firmly in place. Think of this as good housekeeping. The condensation forming on the underside of the lid will wash down the sides of the pan depositing errant sugar crystals back into the bubbling mixture. When the fudge is cooling, you won't have to worry about introducing any large sugar crystals by accident. One large crystal making it into the fudge syrup after it starts to cool can create a chain reaction that'll spoil the batch.
Cook fudge to 236 degrees Fahrenheit (or 113 degrees Celsius).
Once the mixture has reached temperature, remove it from the heat and leave it alone until the temperature drops to 110 degrees Fahrenheit (or 43 degrees Celsius). Letting the hot fudge cool undisturbed is IMPORTANT. Don't stir it, move it or jiggle it -- seriously.
Once the batch hits the 110 degree mark, start stirring. Stir like a maniac until the fudge thickens up. This is going to take a while, and you're arms will get tired, but don't stop. Having a helper is a great idea.
Spread the thickened fudge into a prepared pan.
That's it.
Now that you know the basics, you can branch out. If chocolate isn't your flavoring of choice, by all means try maple, peanut butter or whatever else inspires your candy creativity and lust for culinary adventure. Christmas candy-cane fudge is great, but then so is nutty vanilla. There are lots of recipes to choose from, and now you can try them all with confidence. Have fun, and don't forget to share.

To change a taillight bulb, first, open the rear hatch. Look inside at the edge where the taillight is. You'll see 2 black round tabs (snap-in button)near the taillight. Take a screwdriver and pry each one out far enough so you can pull them out with your fingers or pliers. You may have to turn or wiggle them but they'll come out. Those are what hold the taillight housing on.
Pull the housing off and look at the back. You'll see the plug in the middle, and 2 round covers with tabs, or "ears" on them. There is one bulb under each of the covers. Determine which bulb you need to change, then squeeze the ears in and pull the cover you need off. The bulb is attached under it. Just pull the bulb out, push the new one in, then push the bulb housing in by squeezing the ears again. You'll hear it snap in.
Then put the light housing back on the van. (The tab in the front goes into the slot, and the holes should line up for you to push the tabs back in to hold the housing. You can just push two snap-in buttons back in with a pushing of your fingers without any problems.
That's it, your done! easy cake! It should take under five minutes for the whole process. Save your buck from paying to dealer

Is not having a front license plate in Ohio a moving violation?
It violates Ohio law to not display a license plate from the front of your vehicle. However, it is not considered a "moving violation". FYI: Due to a loophole in the Ohio Revised Code, you need only to display the plate from the front of the car, which does include just placing it on the dash board. --- The front of the car means the front of the car. The windshield is the middle of the car. You will pay for that ticket.

How do you replace fog light bulbs on 2003 VW Passat or Sharan?
The black plastic grille AROUND the fog lamp can be removed without tools. The grille is about 4 inches high and about 14 inches long. If you look through the slats, you'll see 5 or 6 "clips" that can be GENTLY released with your finger. You should see the inside edge of the grille cover (closest towards the license plate.) Place your finger in that inside edge/end, and try pushing the grille towards the outside of the car (ie the grille on the driver side should be pushed towards the right as you face the front of the car) and it should pop out. Also, try pushing in SLIGHTLY, the push towards the outside, and then pulling out. It should pop out fairly easily, with little force.
Once the grille is out , you'll see that the fog lamp assembly can be removed with 3 screws. Simpler than you probably thought!
This applies to Sharan fogs as well. It's a bit fiddly and after taking out the 3 screws you need to disconnect the electrical connection (push on/off) Then rotate the light assembly until you can pull it out. The assembly is in 2 parts and twists to separate. Don't touch the bulb when replacing as any oil on it will make it blow when it gets hot.
Watch out for glass that will have fallen behind the black plastic grille! I agree, it's a lot easier than you think and will save a lot of money (you don't need to pay dealer prices on this one). It took me less than 15 minutes to replace a broken fog assembly and I was taking my time!

How much money for idle valve replacement on Ford Escape?
$79 if you do it yourself. It only takes 2 bolts and it sits on top of the intake manifold. Five minute repair if that is what you need. Go to your local auto parts store and buy it. Unplug the old one, remove the 2 bolts holding it on, install the new one, you're done. An easy, but always accurate test of the Idle Air Control valve is to just unplug it while the car is running. IF the car wants to die then your sensor is fine and working, if you don't notice any difference then the Idle Air Control valve is most likely bad.
First make sure that is what you need. It could be a Mass airflow sensor if you are having problems with it not running good at idle. A bad Mass Air Flow sensor will make it stall at idle, shift bad, no power at take off. Usually a bad Mass Air Flow sensor can be cleaned using Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner. $6.99 a can vs. $100 to $200 or more for a new Mass Air Flow sensor
Will salt water turn on a light?
If it was put through a turbine and spun around, yes. Though salt water doesn't burn much better than regular water (though it does depend on the salt quantity) but evaporating the water to leave behind the salt to burn the salt isn't a very good idea because of the smell it causes.

You accidentally left your headlights on do you need a jump or can you wait it out?
Hmmm, unless it is something new, I've never heard of a battery that will recharge itself when the engine is not running. You will either have to connect a charger to it or jump-start the vehicle. To jump-start, follow these directions to avoid any sparks and cause possible damage to the electronic components: 1. Connect one end of the positive jumper cable to the positive post of the "DEAD" battery. 2. Connect the other end of the positive jumper cable to the positive post of the "GOOD" battery. 3. Connect one end of the negative jumper cable to the negative post of the "GOOD" battery. 4. Connect the opposite end of the negative jumper cable to GROUND on the "DEAD" vehicle. Start the "GOOD" vehicle and allow to run several minutes to boost the DEAD battery. After several minutes of boosting, start the "DEAD" vehicle and allow to run a couple of minutes before disconnecting the jumper cables. To disconnect the jumper cables, remove IN REVERSE ORDER of connection.
