Check with a Chevy dealer. Some Trailblazers have to have the ecm reprogrammed for this reason.

i have a 95 Tahoe also (2 door), and the bar that pulls the latch from the inside is prone to getting stretched out- if you remove the door panel and tighten the bar from the interior door handle to the latch ( i just put a kink in mine), then it is able to unlatch the door again- a bit of a "trick" fix, but it works nonetheless- a lot better than paying through the nose for shop work and just as effective; no more stuck passengers=)

To change the light bulb behind the dashboard, you first have to see which type of screwdriver is required, since dashboards can vary based on make or model. Using the screwdriver specific to your needs, remove all visible screws around the outside panel to be lifted. Once the dashboard panel has been lifted, carefully examine the light sockets to determine which is burned out. Refer to an automobile parts store to be sure you have the right size first!

I have the same problem from time to time with my 1999 Wrangler Sport. The speedometer will display "no buss". I've been told it is a bad connection on the instrument panel.

Personally, I solve the problem by giving the dashboard a rap right above the panel. Not very scientific, but it works every time.

I had that problem repaired. It is a faulty wire connection, there is a certain wiring harness needs to be replaced. Mine was replaced under recall I think. I didn't pay for it at the dealership. Most dealerships should be well aware of this problem now.

Usually if you have trouble finding the ten. pulley on these types of motors. You can tug on the belt real hard and look for a pulley that is moving. That's your ten. And very true about launching the wrench!!!

generaly these cars have a tensioner pulley... to loosen the belt, find the tensioner pulley, and loosen the bolt that keeps it from moving up and down.(could be on the block, but look around...) use a box end wrench on the bolt or nut head in the middle of the pulley... you will need to find the best starting position for the wrench as you will need to move the pulley and pull the belt off at the same time. the pulley will have spring tension on it so be careful not to launch your wrench when you let go! good luck

Some of the problem may be that the '93 is made by GMC not Chevy (weird). But, the tensioner pully is typically located at the top of the belt assembly. It is a smooth pully that has the word "load" and an arrow showing which way to turn the bolt. It will hacve a bolt in the center and can be loosened with a 15mm socket. Once it is loose, rotate the tensioner pully until the belt can be taken off or put on. Push the pully back in to the vertical position with the belt in place, then retighten your bolt

The drain plug is located just to the rear of the front axle shafts very near the bottom of the transmission case - and according to the diagram that I have it is a plug w/ a 3/8" square recess that you use a 3/8" ratchet drive to remove and install it. Use pipe sealer w/ teflon on the plug threads when you go to reinstall the plug and torque it to 20 ft lbs. Use MERCON Multi-purpose ATF transmission fluid to refill the transmission - you'll need about 3.9 qts for the refill. Run it through the gears and check the fluid level w/ the engine running at normal operating temperature w/ the transmission in whatever the owners manual says to have the transmission in - PARK or NEUTRAL.

Your Accessory Drive Belt may be slipping. This is often due to a wobbly pulley (water pump, air cond compressor, oil pump, alternator, power steering pump, idler pulley, tensioner pulley) or a weak Tensioner or a badly worn Drive Belt or any combination of the three!

This slip becomes obvious when you turn on the air conditioner (compressor clutch engages putting a load on the Drive Belt) or you start to accelerate from a complete stop or when going uphill. Usually when the engine is on a low gear and the momentum has not built up enough to overcome the load(s) that is placed on the Accessory Drive Belt.

My wife's 2006 Escape had a wobbly Idler Pulley, weak Belt Tensioner and worn Accessory Drive Belt (ribs become sharp or V-like, while new belt grooves are U-like and fat). When I replaced those three the squeal went away and because the belt was turning the accessories optimally (alternator especially) the engine was running with extra oomph! It was not a difficult job to do.

Not always. You haven't said what kind of 350 you're talking about. Is it an LT1? Is it a Vortec? Is it an LS1? If you said yes to any of those then the answer is likely "NO" for LT1 and definitely "NO" for the others.

I guess I need more info to this one for my own edification.. Do you want forty each of steel brake lines? Or something called "40 steel" brake line?

I tried to fit the chains for a 215/70R15 on a 215/60R15, and the chains were too large. I suspect in your case the chains will be too small.
