It should be onder the hood on the inside fender. It should be in a plastic box. The inside cover of the box should be labeled with which relay and fuse does what. You notice I said should a lot. good luck.

In a 2000 Ford Explorer ( mini fuse # 9 is a yellow color 20 amp fuse for the

fuel pump relay and RAP module , also the # 5 relay is the fuel pump relay )

If you are referring to the rear door of a 2000 Windstar, I had a similar problem. The outer latch seemed as if it was no longer connected. By removing two screws located about 4 inches from the floor on each side of the rear inside panel, and two 3/8 inch nut driver screws at the bottom center handle, you are now able to carefully remove the inside trim panel. Be careful because it's all held in place by other plastic pieces, so go slowly. Upon inspection, I found my outer door release handle had snapped and needed a replacement. It was very tedious and difficult to remove the handle assembly from the vehicle. You may want to consider seeing a mechanic at a scrap yard who may sell and install the part for you. The good news is the part is easily found. I bought a replacement for $35.00 but I would never put it in myself again. If the problem goes deeper, and it's the latch itself, good luck! That was a $400.00 part and is only available at a dealership!

Re:transit syphon, you cant really syphon a transit as the tank is underneath, but if you jack up the rear of the van [remember your axle stands]and take off the heat shield covering the tank [simple to do hand tight screw on clips] you will see the 2 pipes coming out of the tank front end, quick fit clips hold them, again simple to remove press both sides of the clip and push back, take off the 2 pipes [have your open bucket ready] and off you go, drain till it stops, then pressurise the tank with an airline and a rag to really clean out the tank, sounds difficult but really simple takes i hour to do. hope this helps.

You can find it inside of Fuse Box. The sheme is printed in down side of remouval cap. The Fuse Box is placed in driver side part of underhood spase.

I don't know if they are the same but on a 96 STS there is a Maxi-fuse that keeps the 2 fans in the front running. I would check that fuse first and there may also be a fan relay. You can pick up a chilton book at an auto parts store that would probably help a lot.

Any number of possible faults will cause the MIL to illuminate the only way to find the fault is to have the fault codes read by diagnostic equipment. The fault needs to be rectified then the codes can be re-set which will then extinguish the light MIL malfunction indication light

I have a Ford Transit 1999 lwb 2.5 turbo and have repaired the radiator 3 times. The job takes about 90 minutes each way. Remove, then replace.

Step One is to drain the radiator into a container of your choice. It can release more than 12 litres, so be prepared. A plastic tube to fit on the tap and run to your container is essential.

Once done, the rest is a straight forward process of disassembling the front grill and most of the body work in front of the radiator. I am not a mechanic, so I take take it slow and put the bolts and screws into trays in the order they come out. I use cleaned plastic bottles with a rectangle cut of their sides. Also I put down a large drop cloth under the entire front of the vehicle and under as far as I can. If a bolt or screw falls, it is easier to find.

Also each part can be laid out in order of extraction and replaced in the same order. I won't detail the steps, as it is just common sense, as each part only comes off and goes on, one way. It will require upside down work behind the sump to release all the radiator connections at the bottom. The top is connected to the body and is relatively easy. Once all are released, just lift the radiator up and out. Nothing remarkable about tools... Spanners of course, multi grips and both Phillips head and straight screwdrivers.

Assuming this is a mk6 transit (2001>) this is the service light. it comes on at approx every 15,000 miles to indicate that service is due.

Mine is under the glove box. Look hard. The book says it is elsewhere. Its called an inertia switch.

On my Renaut van it means it is ready for a service. It will come on after a year or a set mileage. As i don't own a transit i can not be 100% sure but I would imagine they would all be the same.
