First: Go to the Crutchfield website and put in your year and make Windstar. The results will show you the various types of speakers used in the front door and mid-panel.

Write down the cat.# of the lower priced sets of 5 1/2" round and 5"x7" oval speakers.

Then check the Wal-Mart near you for those styles. I found a pair of Pioneer 51/2" speakers for $12 less than Crutchfield, including sales tax.

Finally, very carefully follow the answers for removing your door panels.

Its on the tranny where the shift linkage attaches

When someone says that they are going to outdo you it means that they are going to try to do something better than you. This is the gateway for competition.

Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the two 7/32 screws holding it on, and replace it. On the 3.8L it is like a little distributor at the front of the engine in the top of the timing cover. It has been a while but I think it just has one screw and clamp holding it in. You should also have the engine on TDC #1 and mark the old one before you pull it out. This makes life a lot easier if the engine would by chance turn with the sensor removed. MGL

If the fuse blows even with nothing plugged into it, there is likely to be a dead-short in the lighter outlet itself.

Check a local auto parts or junk yard for a replacement - should be pretty inexpensive.

On a 1999 Ford Windstar :

What Ford refers to as the " service panel " is located in the cargo area on

the passenger side of the vehicle

It's the icon / graphic of a an engine, upper right hand area of the instrument panel.

Unless there's more information to work with to understanding the nature of what is wrong with the axle, it's really hard to estimate what a repair would cost.

i think the windshield

It all varies on what game you're playing: Ruby/Sapphire: Registeel: Head to Fortree City. From there, go to route 120. Keep heading south until you reach the area between routes 120 and 121 (like the area where the lady who gives you a berry everyday is standing). From there, head as far to the left as you can, then head north (you should go up some stairs.) You should spot an unusual rock formation. Enter it, and head for the middle of the room and use Fly. The door to registeel opens, and he awaits inside. Regirock: Fly to Lavaridge Town. Head east towards the desert. Once you're in it, head as far south as you can. You'll eventually find a familiar rock formation... Enter and walk up to the middle of the braille on the wall. Move two spaces to the right and two spaces down and use strength. The door will open, and prepare for battle! Regice: Surf south from Petalburg City, towards Dewford. Keep looking on your left, and if you see an opening in between the rocks, enter from there and start heading north. Past a couple of islands and you'll find Regice's rock formation. Enter and head towards the middle of the braille. Press A and make yourself some snacks, cause it'll be awhile. The door will open after a few minutes Emerald: Registeel: His location is in the same place, just different process: Read the braille and step four steps down. Then use flash. Ta-da! Door open! Regirock: Same place on Route 111, just head towards the middle of the braille and head two steps down, two steps to the left and use rock smash. Regice: Like the last two, he's in the same place. Read the middle of the braille and take a full clockwise jog around the edges of the cave (go to the right and head around, and be sure to stick to the wall!).

The panel dimmer control is to the right of the headlamp control. If you roll the panel dimmer control up past detente (the catch), it is in the full up position and all of the interior lights will remain on. If you roll the panel dimmer control down past detente, the interior lights will turn off (unless they are individually turned on in which case the panel dimmer switch is overridden). I would also suggest the question could be related to interior lights that keep coming on due to a stuck door ajar switch.

There should be a gap between the sensor and the sensor ring. If it is adjustable, make sure it matches the other wheels. Also, make sure your sensor is plugged in, and check to see if you might have blown a fuse. You can also try to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for a couple minutes.

If you're lucky, it's something simple like a heater hose - which are at the backside of the engine.

Not going to be the easiest to see, but if you take the cowling off - the panels below the windshield, there'll be plenty of room to maneuver around and inspect for the source.

There is a fuse for almost every electrical part on the car. To disable the ABS system on this vehicle, the person needs to pull the ABS fuse or relay. On the diagram it will be labeled as ABS.

Sounds like bulbs have burned out try replacing them

The VSS vehicle speed sensor on top of the transmission is faulty.

When the OD (I'm assuming OD = Over Drive) flashed on my 99 Ford Windstar, it was the transmission going out. $2,500 later, it was fixed and never had an OD problem again! Good luck!
