I have had a problem with that as well on my 89 S15. I kept working at it because it had not been used for a very long time. "In neutral" is very important. Gently moving the shifter back and forth until it finely went into four wheel. I do it more regular now just to keep on top of it.

The 1993 GMC spark plug wire distributor wire placement diagram can be obtained from most General Motors dealerships. Most auto-parts stores will have the diagram.

There is a set of motors under the seat that are known for breaking down. Unfortunately, you cannot repair these motors, or even replace them. Your only choice is to replace the whole seat. I suggest getting a used seat from a junkyard. It's pretty easy to finad a seat, easy to install, and about $350 - $400 cheaper, too! Good Luck! -- Mr. Dog --

On the 1996 GMC Jimmy, it is in the Glove compartment. There are 3 relays in there. May not be the sme on the 1994 but, this may be a good plave to look.

After 10 min. the security light will stop flashing and shut off. Turn the key to the off position, wait 5 seconds or more, now start the vehicle.

above the rear axle/driveline on the bed rail. there is a hose that goes to the canister to the left of it

Try changing the brake light switch located on the brake pedal shaft under the dash.

There's a recall. google "multifunction switch recall jimmy" your dealer should fix it for free.

well if you have fuel and a new filter a good fuel pump relay and the wires going to the fuel pump have power and no fuel pressure you need a fuel pump

Fuel pump and sending unit are in the gas tank. The tank has to be removed. Do yourself a favor, ONLY replace the pump with AC/Delco or Delphi.

Broken oil pump, plugged sump, disconnected or broken oil pump shaft. Also, if I recall correctly this is driven off a lobe on the camshaft. I would doubt that the camshaft would wear flat or that a broken camshaft would not show itself in other more extreme ways. Perhaps a broken thrust bearing on the end of the camshaft may cause it to drift enough to lose connection, but I would bet the first sentence would cover the problem. Hopefully pulling the pan would explain what is going on.

If you mean the S-15 or "little" Jimmy, it's easier than most late model vehicles. First, remove the ashtray and then open the glove compartment door. Remove screws from the radio bezel. This is the piece of plastic surrounding the radio. It holds the lighter, the rear hatch release button and the two middle a/c vents also. Let bezel hang over to one side. Now the radio is fully exposed. Remove two screws, one on each side of radio, pull radio straight out, unfasten ant. wire and two plugs from backside. Reverse steps for reinstallation. Note; the space the factory radio came out of is very shallow. You'll have to use exactly the same type radio or go to an aftermarket. Plenty of kits out there for this vehicle.

yes there is its on the lower left side of the fuse panel its a 20 amp fuse.

The thermostat is inside the housing, it is on the motor where your upper rad hose connects to, hope this helps

drop the front diff and the top of the suspension use two 8" extensions and a swivel on the end and go Thu above and in front of the A arm good luck it worked on my 96 hope it has the same set up i have also herd of lifting the engine a few inches to get clearance.

Going up a hill requires just a little more fuel. If the fuel filter is partially blocked you might not be able to get that extra when you need it. If you haven't changed the filter for a while, I'd try that. It can also be spark plugs but you would notice that any time you stepped on the gas hard.

check your distibutor for a loose pick up. alot off time vehicle will run fine but loss of power under load

If the timing is set correctly then you should check your catalytic converter. When the cat gets partially clogged the car will lose power only when going up hill. ( example: you are going 55 mph at the bottom of the hill by the time the car gets to the top you are going 45 mph. ) check manifold vacuum, if at 2000 rpm vacuum starts to go down to lower than 17hg then you should have the converter checked by a muffler shop.

Also this could be caused by the mass air flow sensor. I was having the same issue with my 98 jimmy. I bought some maf cleaner and havn't had the problem since.

Which speakers? Usually if you have a four door, there are two 4x6" in the dash, and 6 1/2" in all four doors.
