pull engine, unbolt torque converter from flex plate (3 bolts), fill new torque converter with ATF fluid(so it dont start up dry), place new torque converter on to the transmission input shaft, reinstall engine, from underneath now u can spin the engine over by hand to line up the bolt holes and tighten the torque converter to the flexplate.

from what i am hearing a lot of is that it is either the accuator on the driver side to the right of the gas pedal or the baffle door itself is broken(costing a sh*t ton of money to fix have to remove the dash). there is a while plastic piece that has a tendency to break on the end of the accuator that goes into the box. some ppl use a bent coat hanger to push the baffle through the driver side floor vent to get it to move so you get floor heat, then disconnect the red and blue vaccume hoses off the accuator to prevent the baffle from moving. use a nail or tape to stop the vaccume leak . you should still have all you functions for the rest of your heat controls. just the floor and defroster wont switch back and forth. they will both work at the same time. this is the case for each the blazer, jimmy, sonoma, s10, zr2 1998 and up. if you still have your heat working on the floor id suggest that if you own one of these vehicals that you don't turn your defrosters onto full fefrost mode. just floor defrost. what happens is the accuator by the gas pedal when placed in full defrost mode places to much force on the white plastic piece and snaps it, or the piece that's just inside the box. if you put into floor / defrost mode the accuator works as intended.. its mostly a design flaw from gmc that was never made public. it was a volintary recall item

If you heat the mirror with a propane torch, you should be able to soften the glue and pick the mirror glass off. Get a replacement glass and silicone it on, using masking tape to hold it for 24 hrs. -- remove door panel, remove bolts to the mirror, (unclip wiring if a power mirror) replace.

There are both an upper and lower, they are both roughly flat and triangular in shape. your bump stops or rubber shnubies are bolted to them. your ball joints are also attached to them

The bank 1, sensor 3, O2 sensor would be the O2 sensor post cat.

there are actually 3 fuses ( that i have found) 2 are in the fuse panel below and to the left of the steering column marked ac and auxilary ac/heat. my 1993 g3500 vandura also has an inline 20 amp fuse wired in between the fuse panel and the rear blower motor switch.

I really doubt it b/c the the pump lies within the whole fuel assembly. Really $$$

white numbers next to the terminal. The pack located on the lower side of

the ignition module should be 2 / 3 and the top 1 / 4.

On the passenger side of the truck, the condenser (silver cylindrical canister in front of a black box coming out of the firewall) has a black dust cap on the left back side of it if you're facing the front of the truck. Remove the dust cap, and that's your port to attach to.

like most houses, vehicles have a regulator that controls the amount of power going to certain things, there is probably way too much power going to that fuse.

Sounds like the output triode pack in the alternator is failing, causing the regulator to overvolt the field. The field circuit is generally where the system gets it's info for the charge light or ammeter. If the charging output is low, the regulator sends more power to the field to boost the output of the alternator. If the output never reaches an adequate level the field circuit can be pushed to a point where it could damage the instrumentation and the fuse blows to protect the sensitive parts of the system. Have your alternator checked. BTW, houses don't have regulators. The power company regulates the voltage in the grid, your electric meter mesures how much power flows into your house and the fuses or circuit breakers in your service panel protect the individual circuits in your house.

At the lowest point of the engine oil pan. It should take a 15mm wrench to remove it CCW.

the water pump on the 4.3L vortec is easy. there are four bolt holding the water pump in place. these bolt hold your fan clutch also. the water pump and fan system.are built as one. remove these bolts and you are ready to change your water pump.

The biggest tire size you can put on aGMC snoma or s-10 2wheel drive or 4 wheel drive is p235R15 in front and 31x10.5R15 in back. with out lift. The second problem is the 4.3 liter v6 will not have enough power after 33s.Third the speedometer is computer controlled and 31s will be fine any bigger and you will might have problems. On the zr2 models you have larger wheel clearance and a poise rear end. The forth problem is you might have to extend the brake lines. The fifth problem is the tire it self on a 15 inch wheel any 15 inch diameter size. it does not mater how wide the tire is but you might wont to check wheel well clearance. and enjoy I my self have a 2wd s-10 and 31s in back I do not nead any thing else I've never got stock and I have gong places where 4wd would not have gong. remember this the s-10 does not weight a lot and you will not sink as much as a full size truck.
