What are suspension bushings on a car?
We all know what it's like to suffer from sore joints. Even if you're in good physical condition, without enough cushioning between your bones, ordinary motions can be difficult. Now, apply that same concept to the suspension on your old car or truck. The bushings found on the control arms, leaf springs and various mounts are like the cartilage between your joints. The manufacturer normally equips a vehicle with rubber bushings, which provide a soft ride. Over time, however, the rubber begins to wear from oil and other contaminants under your vehicle, and the suspension components start to bind. That's when the automotive equivalent of arthritis sets in, and your vehicle's performance suffers (not to mention your own level of ride and handling comfort). Worn bushings are one of the major reasons for road wander. Rubber bushings may crush down before the suspension can respond to a bumpy road, allowing for play or wobble.

Try checking this out first - - follow the fan power wire to the fan housing to where it plugs into the socket located on the fan housing. Remove the plug and clean both the plug AND the inside of the socket completely. A known problem is dirt accumulating in the socket/plug assembly due to its exposed location behind the radiator. After you clean these and re-assemble them see if that doesn't solve your problem. If not - find the proper relay and take it to a GOOD auto parts place and they can test it for you.

Where is the oil filter on a Honda civic 2002?
The oil filter cannot be seen from opening the hood. It can only be seen from underneath the car with the line of sight being the center of the oil pan plug and looking up at the magnifold,ie, side of the engine closest to the dashboard. Support with strong jackstands and put a block under the rear wheels. Make sure the left or right side of the frame is lifted at least 15". Crawl under the center of the front of car about 12" past the oil plug, or about 36" from front bumper, it is a considerable distance. Look and 18" up will be the filter facing horizontal toward the rear of the car. Finally, the filter is very small so one must use a very small oil filter wrench or a filter cap socket that fits over the end of the filter. With a socket one can use a ratchet and extension to loosen and remove the filter. Many people have questioned the degree of difficulty in replacing the oil filter of the 2002 Honda. Most important is to support the frame of the car and being deliberate in raising and lowering. If you dont have the hydraulic lift tools, 2 tons jacks or do not feel comfortable jacking up the front end of a car, do not attempt this.
I think it's pretty straight forward... there is a rad support at the top with one 10mm bolt holding it on, after that it's just flush coolant take off hoses and replace. pretty much all 92-2000 civics are universal radiator- wise. Good luck!

How do you troubleshoot the distributor system on a 1995 Honda Civic which is not producing spark?
Get a shop manual at AUTOBOOKSONLINE.COM. They have check out charts etc. this is especially important if you intend to do a lot of work on your car and don't want to mess something up.
Just to save you some time... Just go buy a used one for $150-$200.Don't attempt to repair it, you are most likely just wasting your time.
The D series distributors are considered a weak link in the Honda world. The most common problem in these is the ignition module inside the distributor. Honda mechanics often call it an igniter. Remove the cap and rotor button first, followed by the dust cover. The igniter has four wires running into it and can be removed by taking out the two screws running through the distributor housing. They are usually located towards the bottom. Make sure the battery is disconected before removing any of the wires connected to it. This part usually sells for around ninety dollars at your local dealership. Don't buy one from a discount parts house, they're worthless. Also, most Honda techs will recomend replacing the coil too because these two parts often fail at the same time or one going bad will also cause the other to fail. Of course you should make sure the spark plugs and wires are good first, and that the engine ground cables are attached and not corroded. I'm assuming you have already done this. good luck.
You need to replace the electronic ignition coil located inside the distributor. maybe your coil is already busted.
