Is man by nature good or evil?
God's Word tells us: "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only EVIL continually." (Gen.6:5)
Of course, man doesn't see himself that way; subsequently, the answer is: "Man by nature is EVIL, but he likes to THINK he's GOOD."
Random things are amusing because they are random and unexpected.Sitcoms are at times funny, and at times a tad unrealistic and the thought of getting away with saying/doing something, like on the sitcoms is funny because it is an element of shock and is random..yet at times it is predictable and stupid.Where as genuine people doing/saying random, unscripted things is hilarious.good humor,a good laugh...I love it..
It probably means that you have a genuine sense of humor. You would probably find old comedy movies(black&white) funny.
Another AnswerComedy is a difficult area for an entertainer to be in. They are few and far between. I don't see too many TV programs where I can say I got many laughs and I have a good sense of humor. Just because it's a TV Comedy show doesn't mean it's funny and often they have 'canned' laughing (meaning it's not real and dubbed in. There may be some areas in the TV program that give you a laugh, but not often. Another AnswerIt could actually mean several things, but from the Paranoid point of view, if all, not most but all of conventional humor is unfunny to you, and random events that are not considered funny by others are funny to you, this might be a psychological warning sign that should be discussed with a professional psychologist. A good test would be to try and see if a group of friends finds what you think is a funny random thing as funny, and if not, trying to explain to them why it is funny. If a couple of them gets your point of view, you are probably fine. If they all look at you like you just said a horrible thing, something might be wrong. The phenomenon known today as "hypnosis" has been utilized throughout human history: there is plentiful evidence of the deliberate induction of trances for ritual and/ or healing purposes throughout the Ancient World - eg Ancient Egyptian "Sleep Temples", and Ancient Greek religious rituals such as the Elusynian "Mysteries". Oracles (eg the Ancient Greek "Delphic Oracle"), seers, mystics et al have used deliberately induced trances since time immemorial.
Many Early Christian Saints and mystics of other monotheisms (notably the Islamic Sufic tradition) did (and do!) likewise. Hypnosis is as old as Humankind, and the first "hypnotists" were almost certainly shaman, healers, and spiritual guides in prehistoric societies.
Most tribal societies engaged (and continue to engage) in "Shamanic" rituals, trance dancing etc (particularly to invoke "animal spirits" etc for guidance in hunting), and trance inducing dance, drumming etc are long established as an element of most pagan religious practices.
The first well documented practitioner of hypnosis in modern times was Abbe Faria, an C18th Portuguese Goan monk, who used intense eye fixation and deliberate suggestions and commands to induce trance (he called it "lucid sleep") in susceptible people.
Faria was meticulous in observing and documenting who might be responsive, and conducted numerous experiments, applying a remarkably "modern" methodology: controlled studies; "double blinds"; "control groups", plus basic statistical analysis of measurable outcomes etc.. He noted the power of suggestion (and what today would be called the "placebo effect") in helping people overcome or manage what he recognized as "psychosomatic" conditions, although, of course, such terminology did not exist back then! He was very rationalist in approach, rejecting totally any notion of "magic", and insisting that the power of "healing" was entirely in the subject's mind, seeing himself simply as a guide or facilitator helping troubled people to better manage their own lives. In short, he was the first modern psychotherapist/ hypnotherapist and "life coach"!
Faria ended his life in Revolutionary France. For a time he enjoyed a certain celebrity in fashionable intellectual and Rationalist circles, but later fell foul of certain revolutionary leaders, and disappeared some time during the Great Terror - no-one knows what became of him.
Faria's work and ideas were well known to Anton Mesmer, and later Dr James Braid, the Scottish surgeon, who coined the term "hypnotism", and is generally regarded as the "Father" of its scientific application in medicine and psychology. In a very real sense, however, it is Abbe Faria who deserves to be remembered as "the first hypnotist" in the sense that the term is used today.
You can calm down by just breathing in and out three or four times or you can go into the bath room on wet your face which feels good so you get calm. When i try to calm down i just breath and that's it so i calm down.
When anyone asks you a question, take a breath and think of what you DO know. Think about your likes, dislikes, opinions about things you experience. When you read a story, a book, or see a movie, think of what you thought about it--what was good? what didn't work well? Think about what you have learned in life, from friends, and from school and teachers. Consider what your parents have taught you, both good and bad (positive and negative). Then, when asked a question, take the risk to state what you know or your opinion on a topic.
Did you like our new English teacher?
She seems strict, but she's nice and I think I'll learn a lot from her.
ONE CAUTION: It can become very easy to talk badly about other people and call it "my opinion". But people who always criticize other people start to seem untrustworthy; friends don't want a friend who talks badly about others, because one day, they could be a target too

Have a 1997 Chrysler sebring the compass just says ccd what does this mean and how can it be fixed?
This means that the compass is in the calibration mode. If you have a Chrysler Sebring owners manual, it will help you finish the calibration for the area you live in. When you look it up, go to the "Index" section of the manual and you will find it. If I remembered or have my manual on me as I type this, I would just write what to do. Just read through it and you will find the section to get you back to "normal" operation. Take care and good luck :)

How do you deal with a clingy mother-in-law?
I've found the easiest way to deal with a clingy mother in law is to follow the old adage " know thy enemy". Find out what terrible things she did to your wife as she was growing up. Then constantly remind your wife of the terrible things her mother did. Soon, you will find that your wife(harboring resentment from decades ago) will be turned against her mother , voluntarily cutting her out of your lives. Let me tell you, life is much more peaceful now. We even changed our number and moved!
