Would a bad coil pack cause a crank sensor code?

Yes it very well could, because a misfiring coil pack or weak coil pack can cause interruptions in the signals to both the camshaft position sensor into the crankshaft position sensor. I had this happen on my Buick LeSabre, it gave a code 18, which is Cam / crank position sensor error okay. I replaced all three coil packs, and it went away and never came back. If you look at the diagram for the wiring of your ignition control module, you'll see that the coil packs, ignition control module, and camshaft and crankshaft position sensors are all interconnected.

Your 1999 Mitsubishi 3000 GT shut down on you as you were driving The Clutch pedal went to the floor the reservoir is dry how do you fill it and do you need to bleed the system if so how do you?

First, find out why the reservoir is empty. If you've developed a leak, you need to find out where it is and fix it. You might be able to get by just with a little fluid in the reservoir, but it will be far less headache in the future if you just fix the problem. Check for leaks in the clutch release cylinder. A new one costs about $60. You will need to bleed the system after adding fluid. Attach clear tubing (5/16" inside diameter, about 1 ~ 2 feet long) to the bleeder nipple on the release cylinder and run it to a container, loosen the nipple, have someone depress the clutch pedal and hold it down. Tighten the bleed nipple before the clutch pedal is released. Repeat until fluid runs out with no bubbles.

Did Mitsubishi 3000gt have a convertible?

Yes. The 3000GT regular hatchback model was built in Nagoya, Japan without hatches or rear-quarter windows. At the factory they add strengthened A-pillars and specially tuned springs and shocks which is exclusive to the Spyder. Then it is shipped to the U.S. And transported in closed trucks to ASC.. ASC (American Sunroof Corporation) later renamed to American Specialty Cars would then go to work cutting off the roof and adding reinforcement to the car. This was the first American folding hardtop convertible since the 1957 Ford Skyliner. The Spyder was made in VR4 and SL models. The VR4 boasted 320 HP, all wheel drive, all wheel steering and adjustable suspension while the SL was FWD and 222 HP and none of the goodies. Approx 1600 were built, split fairly evenly between the two models.

With the push of a single button, the roof retracts into the trunk in about 35 seconds.

The VR4 version cost over $65,000 when new, and is considered a collectible car.
