First: Check the owner's manual. If you're lucky, sometimes the dealer or former owner will have written down the code number somewhere in the manual (inside the front cover or on the page that describes the radio operation are favorite places). Also check the interior of the glove compartment - sometimes the dealer will affix a sticker containing the serial number here, too. IF NOT: You will need to retrieve the radio serial number. On SOME radios you can do this by holding down both the number 1 and the number 6 buttons simultaneously as you turn on the radio. If you have one of those radios, the serial number will appear in the tuning window when you turn it on. IF NOT: You will need to loosen the radio and slide it far enough out of the dashboard in order to get the serial number off the plate that is affixed either on the back, or the bottom, of the radio case. When you have gotten the serial number - either call the Honda Customer Service 800 number, or stop by your local Honda dealer and give them the serial number and they should be able to give you the anti-theft security code for your radio. WRITE IT DOWN SOMEWHERE WHERE YOU WON"T FORGET IT! This will happen every time the battery is disconnected or goes dead.

You might have a bad battery. Check if your battery is not leaking acid and also take a volt meter and check if the battery is reading around 12v if around 12V it should be ok, if if reading below 11V then you have a bad battery. If you don't know how to use a volt meter take your battery to a auto parts store they should have a battery tester (Autozone will most defintly have it). If your have a good battery try checking your alternater. Again some auto parts store should have a alternater tester (Autozone will most defintly have it.) If you have a system in your car and you still have the original battery it likely it is your battery, try buying a Optima battery yellow cap or yellow cap at Autozone they work great for systems puls they have realy good warrenties. Also if your running a system over 800 watts peck I aslo recammed using 4 Gauge wire and using a capacitor no less than then 2.5 fard. Bleive me they work don't bleive what other people say about cpacitors not helping out your system. My cusin's stero went out all of the sudden and so did his amp. I checked his battery, it was well below working condetions. The only thing helping him turn on his car was his capacitor. He would of been stuck if it wern't for his capacitor.

It takes a little bit of elbow grease but i oly found one way to do it. You need a punch about the size of the button and i strong drill bit. From there its pretty much beating the thing down until you can pry/pull out the lock. it seems a bit unethical, but as a said no one knew of any way and this way worked for me.

On a 98 eclipse rs Manual, the filter is located inside the transmission. It is behind the square inspection plate just behind the driver side wheel. It have a few bolts holding it on..and it doesn't have a drain plug..Hope this helps

You would have to call the dealership it came from in order to get the code, tell them the serial number and they'll be able to look it up.

On your radio your preset stations each have a number 1,2,3,4,5,etc. The first preset station represents the first number in your code. if your code is 8642 then you would: press #1 preset 9 times. press #2 preset 7 times. press #3 preset 5 times. press #4 preset 3 times. (The first press is a 0)

After you enter YOUR code (not this code) then press the CD button.

It is located on the transmission. You will see an electric wiring going toward the middle of the car, if you look carefully enough, it will end up in a connector. That connector is actually connected to the speed sensor. Connector is not held by anything, you can just unplug it. Speed Sensor though is tightened with a 10mm bolt.

According to page 5-7, of the Haynes Manual, the power transistor is only used in eclipses that fit one of the following criteria;

-2.0L Turbo

-1998-1999 2.4L engines

-3.0L engines

Your car is a 2.0L Non-turbo so it does not have a power transistor.

This question is kind of ridiculous there are so many combos of parts you could use to make any car fast. The first thing you wanna think about is if you really wanna spend the money to make an eclipse fast because for the same money you could probably go out and buy a faster car. The fastest route to power is always forced induction, whether it be nitrous oxide, turbocharging, or supercharging. With all of these come the probability that you WILL break something if you run too much nitrous or too much boost, therefore supporting mods must be done to the motor to safely reach new horsepower levels. Supporting mods usually include upgrades to the fuel, spark, and exhaust systems, (such as bigger fuel pump(s) coil packs for the ignition and much larger exhaust with less restrictive manifolds mufflers and cats.) Beefing up the motor and transmission with stronger internals will also be required for larger power gains such as carbon fiber synchros and stronger input/output shafts in the trans and forged pistons and connecting rods in the motor. The route to go nitrous, turbo or supercharged is entirely up to preferance (also remember you gotta put that power to the ground as well as stop it, so with power comes larger tires and brakes). Only you know what you want from your car. Not to be pessimistic but the motor in your car might be able to take some abuse but your transmission is built to handle the stock 190 some horsepower/torque of your motor so you will almost definatly break something if you do any kind of forced induction, also assuming your car has over 50k miles for it being a 2003 and being a drop top which makes it have more of a leisurely feel your best bet is to not drop a lot of money into it and start breaking things just throw on a new exhaust system, cold air intake, maybe even go as big as a larger fuel pump and injectors, as I said what you wanna do is entirely up to you. I hope this was somewhat useful and I'm sorry for the novel but this is such a vague question. If I didn't answer it I don't believe you would've got an answer or if you did it would probably be as vague as the question itself. To sum this up for you and give you a ballpark price range, I have a 2001 Mustang GT, lets say I wanted to supercharge it. 2.1l twin screw supercharger kit from Kenne Bell - $5,000, then I would have to build my transmission because it can't handle the added torque from the supercharger - $2000+ and also if I wanted to safely run more then the 9 psi the kenne bell system comes set to, I would have to get forged internals for my motor $2000+ so as you can see this is not very cheap. However after all these things being done to the car I would still only be running about 475 horsepower to the wheel at around 14 psi and be running maybe mid to low 12's in the quarter mile if I went and bought myself some drag radials and beefed up the rear end with new control arms, shocks, gears, axles, driveshaft/u-joint as well as the clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate. If I didn't do these mods I would either burn out my clutch or snap my rear end if I launched hard. All this stuff, another $1500. Think before you mod, think long and hard.
