the fuse box is located in the engine bay, its a black box with a diagram on it on the drivers side ( japan model )

the dashboard fuse is a 20amp yellow fuse.

that happend to me and my engine mounts where broken

The easiest way to get them to come on is to tap into the wiring harness of the parking lights.

You have to take it to a mechanical shop and hook up a scanning tool to find why the light is on. This is often free if you get them remedy the problem.

In The Owners Manual it shows you a diagram but mine doesn"t match what the book says

I would start by tightening the power steering belt if it's separate. If it's one belt alone, tighten or change it if it looks warn. If new breaks squeal it is because the person who changed them did not grease the pads before putting them on.

To remove the rear view mirror off a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage first pop off the plastic cover place on the body of the mirror. Than proceed to unscrew the mounting screws.

if you are trying to find this to make more power by upping your fuel mixture by tricking that sensor i am telling you its a bad idea. you really are not going to make any real power, contrary to popular belief, especially if you are an N.A. motor. if you are trying to find it for a real reason it is on the back side of the intake plenum closer to the passenger side of the motor. it has a grey plug and what will look like a threaded nut and nipple that attatches it to the plenum. honestly if you are trying to trick the ecu with that sensor you are going to regret it later on. in all actuality if its a turbo car you should even be worried about something that insignificant spend the dough get a boost controller and youre good. if its an N.A. car nothing you can ever do short of a motor swap or a heap of nitrous will ever make that car fast.

The proper spark plug gap for a 1994 Mitsubishi Mirage is .030 thousandths of an inch. The Mirage has a 1.5L engine.

Start at 1 1/2 turns from seat and adjust for best idle

under the battery it has a white ball on the ned of the dipstick

I'm a car audio installer in Nashville, TN and from what I've seen all you can do is take that CD player out from the car and you should see the screws that actually hold the top of the CD player together and all you do is take the factory piece apart, because if it's reading "error" all it's good for is a paper weight.

it's in the engine bay just behind the battery. you will have to remove the battery and the shelf it sit s on to get to it. you will see it mounted to the firewall.

Here is the answer to the best of my knowledge. This applies to any body that has the need to get the code from the dealership and requires to pull out the radio and look up the serial number. The process is very simple, just follow these steps and you'll be on your way to listening to your radio again. First of all don't think you need to unscrew anything. The wood panel sorounding your stereo snaps out by pulling on it or using a flat screw driver at the corners. Once you have taken the panel out, you can see that the radio is held in by 2 hooks. Push up and pull forward slightly. You don't have to pull out the entire radio because you can see the serial number on the top surface very easyly. Write down the number next to where it reads s/n. Once you have the serial number, call the local dealership and give them your serial number. They will in turn give you a four digit code number that you will enter on your radio. One thing to note is that if you have entered the wrong code number 3 times, your radio would lock up and it would read "OFF". To unlock it, simply park your veichle in a safe place and leave the radio on for about 1 hour (no engine running just click the egnition switch to operate the radio). After one hour, the radio resetes and will aks you again to enter the code. start entering one number at a time using the first 4 buttons. Example, if your code is 4538, you would push button 1 four times to get to the number 4, you would push button 2 five times to get to the number five and so on.. After you have entered the correct code, push the CD button and there you have it.

To change the burnt lightbulb simply take out the battery, remove the bulb connector, remove the rubber moisture guard, and unhook the attached wire, replace the bulb and return the aforementioned contents to their proper place. Total time about 12 minutes.
