There have been alot of bad people in the past hundreds of years, including women. But the evilest man on earth is probably Adolf Hitler, or Sadam Hussein. It depends on your opinion.
If you say that it is Adolf Hitler, then it probably is for these reasons. He was responsibe for the brutal torture and extermination of 6 million innocent Jews, by means of gas and severe beatings. Their bodies were burned after the gas.
He also killed many thousands of disabled or mentally ill people, again, for no reason.
And what for? Jews: they were said to be responsible for Germany's loss in WW1. Other people: to create a blue eyed, blonde haired (arian race) race in Germany, when he wasn't even one himself!

That was Pedro Alonso Lopez - The Monster of the Andes, No one was concerned that Lopez would have the opportunity to kill again. If he was paroled from the prison in Ecuador he would still have to stand trial for his murders in Colombia and Peru. But after 20 years of solitary confinement, in the summer of 1998, Lopez was taken in the middle of the night to the Colombia border and released. Neither Colombia or Peru had the money to bring the madman to justice.

The Unabomber, real name Theodore (Ted) Kaczinski, committed sixteen bomb attacks from 1978 to 1995, killing three and injuring twenty-three persons. The attacks were aimed at universities and airlines, hence the name Unabomber.

The Unabomber's central and fatal conclusion can be summed up as: Technological society is incompatible with individual freedom and must therefore be destroyed and replaced by primitive society so that people will be free again.

The Unabomber's victims were scattered around the country, unknown to each other and probably unknown to the Unabomber himself, except as names culled in outdated directories, newsletters and other publications. Over the years, the Unabomber struck at least 16 times, killing three people and injuring 23.

Angelakos, now retired, was an electrical engineering professor. Hauser was a graduate engineering student and an Air Force pilot . McConnell, seems to have embodied everything the Unabomber detested. He was rich, flamboyant, irreverent and controversial. Scrutton was the first one to be killed. Murray was the timber lobbyist from Sacramento, who was killed April 24, 1995.

At the time of this prayer, Bathory was in a desparate situation. At long last she was having to pay the price for her debachery which included the murder of at least 600 young village girls, brought to her estate under the pretense a well paying position as a servant. The laws of the time demanded that she be executed in any number of horrible ways. Her mention of the cats was her desperate plea for supernatural interference, to kill her executioners before she herself was killed. The vast majority of murder victims are at least aquainted with their killer. There is usually some sort of relationship between the two. So for homicide detectives, the best place to start is with the victim's circle of family and friends. At the very least they may be able to enlighten detectives to anything unusual happening in the victim's life before their murder. If the inner circle of family and friends have not aroused suspicion, the circle grows larger to co-workers, aquaintences, people on the perimeter of the victim's life. They work the case like this, the circle growing bigger if no suspect is found. It is also important to note the lifestyle of the victim. Many times people are murdered because they have a high risk lifestyle. It may be drugs or other illegal activities such as prostitution that increase a person's risk of being a murder victim. It is important that detectives know how the victim lived in order to find out how or why they died.

The hardest type of murder case to solve is that of 'stranger on stranger' murder. Serial killers fall into this catagory. No link between killer and victim makes the homicide much harder to solve. What seems like a random act between strangers is a difficult trail to follow. In serial homicides it is important to be able to connect it to similar murders. From this a criminal profile will emerge, giving detectives a direction or idea of where to put their resources. Crime scene forensics are particularly important in stranger murder cases.

Modern crime detection has gotten very scientific and technical in the last two decades. DNA, fiber analysis and super computers are just a few of the modern tools used by law enforcement to detect, apprehend and convict the guilty. But the human element is still the driving force behind a successful homicide investigation.

The 1987 movie 'Rampage' was loosely base on serial killer Richard Chase who killed five people and one 22 month old in Sacramento CA in 1977.

Hernandez has been charged but has not gone to trial yet.

According to FBI statistics firearms are the weapons of choice for killers. Followed by knives/sharp instruments and beatings take 3rd place.

Serial Killer is a designation that depicts a person who commits multiple murders in usually the same manner and of the same type. Most serial killers concentrate on a specific appearance of their victims. An example would be the cases involving Ted Bundy where his victims were young females with long brown hair and a slim body structure. Profilers have attributed his penchant for these women as fitting the image of his mother and a female who shunned him.

That was Madan Lal Dhingra. He was an Indian revolutionary freedom fighter and while studying in England, he assassinated Sir William Hutt Curzon Wyllie,who was a British official, and the deed was hailed as one of the first acts of revolution in the Indian independence movement in the 20th century.

Jack the Ripper is a pseudonym given to an unidentified serial killer (or killers) active in the largely impoverished Whitechapel area and adjacent districts of London, England in the latter half of 1888. The name is taken from a letter to the Central News Agency by someone claiming to be the murderer, published at the time of the killings. There have been some theories that "Jack" may have actually been a "Jill", but the evidence is inconclusive. Although several suspects were investigated by the police at the time, no solid evidence on anybody was ever collected - ideas abound now about over a hundred suspects, many linked by the tiniest shred of circumstantial proof. Nobody was prosecuted and the murders remain unsolved today.

As far as I can tell there is no 'real' compass killer. It's a character on CSI, the TV show.

Actually, the compass killer was a guy who uses a compass to kill someone. In the first episode he appeared in, he killed and innocent women who was gardening in her yard by choking her with a rope he threw around her neck and then he shot her in the head. Not sure about the second or third episodes.

In the beginning, dead bodies start falling from a bridge. The CSI's investigate under the bridge and find a compass underwater and that's when Mac says, "The compass killer. He's back." One part shows a flashback where the Compass Killer's wife comes to his work and gives him a present for his birthday, it's a compass that says "Happy B-day, Yours 4 Ever" on the back and this man is arguing with his girl friend and then shoots her and 10 other people in the building. The Compass Killer tells the man to not come into his office while his wife calls 911. The man shoots the door and also gets the Compass Killer in the head and he lives but the man also shoots his wife (and this was all before he was 'The Compass Killer')

In the end, Mac says,"I want this whole place searched, we're gonna find this guy!", after him and another CSI almost get The Compass Killer, it's like he disappeared into thin air. Can't wait for the next episode!!!!!

I could find no American serial killer whose lase name begins with V. There was the Zodiac and the Zebra killer, both from California.
