When replacing the timing belt on a 1997 Chevrolet 2.2, align the timing marks on the crankshaft and camshaft gears. The crankshaft mark should be aligned with the 0° mark on the timing cover while the camshaft timing mark should be pointing straight up, aligning with the mark on the cylinder head. Ensure that the tensioner is properly adjusted and the belt is taut before finalizing the installation. Always double-check the alignment before reassembling other components.

Well, isn't that a happy little question! The number of horsepower a 350cc engine produces can vary depending on many factors like the engine design, fuel type, and tuning. On average, a 350cc engine can produce around 25-30 horsepower, but it's always best to check the specific specifications of the engine in question to get a more precise answer. Just remember, no matter the horsepower, every engine has its own unique charm and purpose in the world of mechanics.
What kind of oil should you use in your 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass 350?
Well, honey, for that vintage ride of yours, you'll want to stick with good ol' conventional motor oil. Go for a 10W-30 grade to keep that engine purring like a kitten. Just make sure you change it regularly, or that Cutlass might just decide to retire on you.

=== === == == The existing 240 Volt outlet and its associated wiring and breakers can either be left in place for future use or can be disconnected. This job can be done by a licensed electrician. He would install a new 120 volt circuit with the correct size breaker on the main power panel and the correct type of 120 Volt grounded socket outlet so you can plug in the power cord from the gas cooktop.
<><><>
As always, if you are in doubt about what to do, the best advice anyone should give you is to call a licensed electrician to advise what work is needed.
If you do this work yourself, always turn off the power
at the breaker box/fuse panel BEFORE you attempt to do any work AND
always use an electrician's test meter having metal-tipped probes
(not a simple proximity voltage indicator)
to insure the circuit is, in fact, de-energized. IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY SURE YOU CAN DO THIS JOB

If the sander pad has accumulated debris, try cleaning with compressed-air or a vacuum. The hooks on the sander pad become damaged over time and will not engage the loops on the sanding disk, especially if you apply a lot of pressure when using the machine. Buy a replacement pad. The Rigid line is not that old, so they should be readily available. Unless you are using the sander for sculpting or shaping, the weight of the sander alone should be all that is required. If not, you need to use a lower grit.
Location of oxygens sensors 2002 gmc envoy?
The 2002 GMC Envoy typically has two oxygen sensors located on the exhaust system. The upstream oxygen sensor is usually located near the exhaust manifold before the catalytic converter, while the downstream oxygen sensor is typically located after the catalytic converter.
A loose lightbulb in the socket would cause this problem. Turn the light switch off, wait for the bulbs to cool, and check to see if they are screwed all the way in. This could also be caused by someone using heavy-duty equipment nearby. Perhaps a neighbor is using a power saw?
you will have to remove the rear seat as the pump is located behind the backrest. To remove the back seat, you need an extension for your socket wrench and remove the two nuts which are about centered where each person sits. Then lift up the seat to clear four guide/retaining clips.
Having done that, next lift the cloth well that is glued to the top edge. Now you can see the pump/motor. it will have clear hydraullic lines on both sides and a electrical connection. There is a rubber plug on the side. Turn pump so this faces up. You will need about 2' of rubber hose or a funnel and a coffee can 1/2 full of trans fluid. Pull out the plug and insert hose from can to pump.run top up and down a couple times. This will fill and bleed the air out. You may need to do this 8-10 times. Don't let the motor get hot--it's not made to go more than a couple times without cooling off. Replace plug and inspect lines for leaks.
I have a 95 cutlass supreme, and the pump is visible and accessible from the trunk. Just lift up the cloth bag that the top folds into and you will see it. It is a long reach through the trunk. My plug was on top of the unit, so I did not have to remove the unit; just unplug and refill.

What is the value of a browning 20 gauge automatic shotgun 40 years old?
The value of a Browning 20 gauge automatic shotgun that is 40 years old can vary depending on its condition, any modifications, and current market demand. It would be best to have the shotgun appraised by a professional gun dealer or appraiser to determine its exact market value.
What is the value of an old autoclave?
Its value will vary, and will be set by the market (the need). The best idea is to check online auctions (eBay) for similar units, and then check companies that sell used scientific, medical or industrial equipment. All this involves web searching, and for someone not at ease with this kind of thing, here's a chance to practice. It's a really good idea to be able to search the web and refine the wording in search arguments to get optimum results. It's like driving a car - there is a high pay value in learning to do it.
Where do you find the fuses for a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme?
This is a very surprising place to put a fuse panel. You would not think to look in that position. I would think that the fuse panel would be on the driver's side, as it is in 99% of all the other cars on the road. Add to that, that there is already another fuse panel inside the engine compartment under the hood. I didn't even think to look for another fuse panel until after I pulled every fuse in the engine compartment fuse panel and all were good.
You have to really pull on the fuse panel door - because it is not hinged - it is clipped in like a door panel, and takes a bit of pull to open it. And due to the position, it is nearly impossible to put back all the way. The one clip is right accross from the door and I can not get a good swing to click it back in.
How do you change power steering line on 95 cutlass?
I litterally just did this yesterday. The book will tell you to remove the entire rack, but you dont need to. Use a floor jack and place it in the center of the front K-member cross bar. Jack up the car untill the front tires are off the ground, place blocks of wood back behind the front tires on the frame rails so it will support the car when the jack is lowered. Next remove the air box, dog bone mount, and both fans. drain about 1.5 galons of coolent from the radiator. Take off the hose that runs from the radiator to the thermostate, and the little hose that runs above the water pump right next to the exhaust. Remove the hose that goes into the water pump. Now, go under the car, you will see four huge bolts that hold up the four corners of the engine craddle/ K-member. They are about 6 inches long. Take the back ones out about half way and the front ones all the way. This will allow you to roll the engine forward so you and get to the lines. You should now be able to lower the jack and it should allow the engine to roll forward, use this to your advantage, rolling the engine forward will help you gain acess to the lines. SLOWLY lower the jack and watch to make sure no lines attached to the engine get streached (I had to disconnect the crusie control). After lowered so far you shoud be able to see the lines, they are right next to the steering knuckle. Remove them with line wrenches and replace the one that is bad. After they are replaced jack the engine back up in place and put the engine craddle bolts back in. You shoud not have to bleed the lines since the return line will force any air out. Just put everything back and fill your radiator and bleed the system, this is actually the hardest part. It took me about two hours to do this entire process. Good luck, If you have any questions enmail me at dew101970@yahoo.com. I will try to answer.
How do you replace the electric window motors on a 1993 Olds cutlass Supreme?
Open door. Remove two screws under seat belt cover top left of door panel. Remove screw in upper front of panel. Remove screw in bottom of door. Pry out carefully the power window switch assembly. Remove two screws under switches. Then go around door panel edge's and pry off clips that hold panel on. Remove panel. In the middle of the door there are four pop rivets that hold in the motor regulator assembly. Drill them out. Unplug motor and slide motor assembly to the back of door and it should come out of track. Remove it through the hole in middle back of door. You may want to tape window up so it doesn't fall and break. Hint: you may have to run motor around to get it out through the hole. After you have the assembly out of the car you will need to drill out the rivets that hold the motor to the Regulator.
How do you replace the drivers side view mirror on a 1970 cutlass?

How do you set the choke on a 1984 Olds Cutlass Supreme?
These cars have an electric choke relay . The gap when cold should be 1/8". if not you need to change the unnit on the side of the carb. If it is original you need to drill out the 3 pop rivets holding the plastic housing to remove the old one and replace them with the new screws that come with the new choke relay
Usually the white wire is used as the neutral or negative. However, on three-phase, the wire may be gray.
On alternating current supplies the phase neutral is colored blue.
<><><>
For alternating current supplies no wire is referred to as the "negative".
"Negative" and "positive" wires are used in direct current electrical systems such as are used in cars and other vehicles. In those systems various different colors may be used to denote the negative side of the supply. The only sure way to know which wire is which is to use an electrical test meter.
But you have to know how to use a meter properly otherwise, if you set it wrongly, you can easily make it blow fuses - or even cause the meter itself to go up in smoke! So if you are ignorant about how to use a test meter correctly, you might find out that using one carelessly can prove to be a very expensive experience!

How do you get the starter off a 1992 Plymouth Acclaim?
I have a 93. Same setup. Start by taking the two fans off. Then the windshield washer tank, then the support bar on the left side, the the two wishbones, then the air cleaner, then take a swivel to get to the back bolt and a normal socket to get to the front one..
In automotive terms it would be what you would open to gain access to the engine compartment.
How do you get the hood up if the hood release cable is broken?
You're going to have to pull the latch manually. The best bet is to go through the grille with a special tool or fabricate one out of heavy wire. The cable connects to the driver's side of the latch and pulls it open from there.
