How do you get the diagram to tell you how to have the correct marks for the ignition timing for a 1993 Plymouth sundance?

By diagram, if you are refering to the Emissions Control label located on the under side of the hood, it is only good for telling you what your timing (x degrees before top dead center (BTDC)) should be, given the engine you have. Haynes sells a service manual (about $17.00) that does a pretty good job of explaining how to go about setting the ignition timing on your engine, including descriptions of where the timing marks are for your engine and how to perform the timing adjustments.

How do you replace the headlight bulb located on a 1989 Plymouth Sundance?

I just replaced the headlight bulbs on a 94 Sundance. It's very easy and doesn't require any tools. Pop the hood, and unscrew the bulb from the back of the light. You may have to wiggle it as there is a gasket around the base. Once out remove the bulb from the connection. This includes the black plastic casing. You should notice a clasp near the bottom of the casing, just lift up and pull the bulb and casing free from the wire. the replacement bulb just snaps on in the same way. DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB WITH YOUR BARE HANDS as oil from your fingers can cause and uneven distribution of heat and pop the bulb. I didn't believe it and found myself buying another bulb.

On a 1994 Plymouth Sundance, the freeze plugs, also known as core plugs, are typically located on the sides and rear of the engine block. They are circular metal plugs positioned in the coolant passages to prevent the block from cracking due to freezing temperatures. A high-pitched squeaking noise while driving, unrelated to the brakes, could be caused by several factors. Where is fuse location for a 1992 Plymouth Sundance tachometer?

The fuse for the tachometer in a 1992 Plymouth Sundance is typically located in the fuse box, which is found under the dashboard on the driver's side. You can identify the specific fuse for the tachometer by checking the diagram on the fuse box cover or the owner's manual. If the tachometer is not functioning, checking the fuse should be one of the first troubleshooting steps. If the fuse is intact, further diagnosis may be needed for the tachometer itself.

What is the right way to install a thermostat on a 1992 Sundance Which part of the thermostat is facing toward the engine?

Some thermostats have an arrow embosed on the one of the legs pointing toward the radiator. Generally speaking, the side with what looks like a spring and cylindrical bulb should be immersed in the heated water from the engine. Since the water in the hose attached to the radiator is not heated by the engine, this would be the wrong side. Also, on my Sundance (2.2L engine), the thermostat fits only in the correct orientation (try a dry fit first). Spring into engine.

Where is the thermostat located on a Plymouth Sundance?

The thermostat is on the top side of the engine. Follow the hose from the radiator to where it goes connects to the engine. The housing may have the coil bolted on to the outside, depending upon the model. On the top side of the housing is an Allen screw, which should help identify it, plus the temperature sensor is on it as well. The housing must be removed to change out the thermostat. The set screw must also be removed during refilling the system to allow air to escape.
