Radiator fan in a'92 Plymouth Sundance doesn't come on. Fan runs when connected to the battery and you changed the fan sensor What next?

Run the A/C all the time until you get it fixed. It will run anytime the A/C is on. It has to be a defective thermal switch, or defective wiring, for the fan if the fan itself is good.

I had the same problem and it was a simple $11 relay switch that solved the problem

What is causing your 1990 Honda Civic to still overheat after replacing radiator water pump head gasket radiator cap and thermostast?

Answer

When you replaced the headgasket, did you have the head checked? It could be warped, causing the gasket to fail, or worse it could be cracked. I've also seen the water jackets within the block crack if it overheated to many times.

Where is the heater core in a 92 sundance?

The heater core is up in, and under the dash. To remove it is a rather extensive job. I'd recomend a shop manuaul. The center consol, radio, heater control, glove box, and possibly part of the steering column will need to be removed first. The hoses on the fire wall in the engine compartment will need to be disconnected. If the unit also has A/C, there are a few other items to be considered. I'd figure on about 8 hours for the entire job. The replacement heater core only costs about $40 to $50. The expense is for the labor involved.

How do you replace the alternator on a 1989 Plymouth Sundance?

I own the nxt year's model, but if the '89 is anything like the '90, then this might work for you. The alternator is located underneath the air conditioner compressor. This is on the left hand side of the vehicle if you are looking at the car with the hood up. The compressor has all manner of tubes coming off of it with pressure valves on the tubes, and a belt hooked to it. Directly underneath the compressor is the alternator. The alternator has a drive belt attached to it and a single cable attached to the body that splits off four ways. Detatch the cable. then, at the front of the alternator (towards the front of the car), there is a bolt tyhat needs to come off. loosen the bolt and take it out; the alternator should shift downwards, giving you enough play to take the drive belt off. once you remove the drive belt, there is a bolt that needs to come off of the other side (towards the rear of the vehicle) of the alternator. loosen this bolt, take it off. and be careful to get all of the rubber washers in case they fall off, there are two. your alternator should now be removed from the chassis, and you can take it out of the car. I took my oil filter off of my car to let the alternator off more easily; just do whatever works. Then check what model your alternator is and buy a new one. reverse the steps to put the thing back in.

How do you repair brake light short headlights on no brake lights just the cyclops lights off brake lights and cyclops all bulbs new and correct no obvious wire damage or switch wear?

Your question was a little unclear, does the brakelight work when the headlights are off but not when they're on? If that's the case, it's a ground problem. Check the ground to the tail light/brake light assembly. If the brake lights don't work at all, check the turn signal switch. Brake lights are routed throug the turn signal so that you can use the same bulb for turn signal and brake light. BTW, if you have an air bag, don't attempt to replace or inspect the turn signal switch yourself. It can be very dangerous.
