How do you set the timing for a 1987 firebird as well as it has a hard time ideling?

Is your '87 TBI or carb? If it is carb like mine, you loosen the bolt holding the distributor slightly, just enough to be able to turn the distributor. Making very minor adjustments until it will run on its own. Once it will run without applying any throttle, you will need a timing light, connect the timing light to your number 1 spark plug and shine it onto the harmonic balancer on the front of the engine, you should see an indicator, adjust it to the recommended setting.

the hazard button is located on the steering column on the right lower side... as far as the 2nd button... I'm actually trying to figure that out for myself, lol

the second button starts the car in 2nd gear I believe it's only for the automatics and it is used when you need to get more traction in say snow.

What could be wrong if both headlight actuators do not work on a 1986 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am?

There are three headlight relays that control the operation of the headlight motors. One controls the other two. If one headlight is not raising/lowering properly, the corresponding relay is located to the front of each fender. Thesehave part # 10041733 on them. If both are not functioning properly, the relay, Part # 10022620, is located on the backside of the radiator support, on the passenger side, just in front of the air cleaner on my 1986 305 tpi trans am. The old part # for this relay was 10038949.

Why would engine oil get into radiator on a 2000 firebird with a 5.7?

Actual engine oil in the radiator would indicate a blown head gasket or warped engine head. There are just too few places that the engine oil and coolant find close proximity, and the heads are the most common place to introduce this mixture.
