Use as much gas as you can so the tank is as light as it can be, I used a motorcycle jack to lower mine. Disconnect the electronics first (battery) undo the fuel filler hose, the gas lines, and the 3 straps holding the tank to the frame. lower the tank and remove from vehicle. There is a steel O ring that holds the sending unit in the tank..use a brass punch or a piece of hard wood (DO NOT USE STEEL as it will spark and that's bad around gas!!) unscrew the ring, simply pull out sending unit...replace with new and repeat the process backward to reassemble.

Do these steps in 5 seconds: Turn the key to the "ON" position while the engine is NOT running (the dash lights will turn on with all the appropriate beeps). Fully press and slowly release the accelerator pedal 3 times. Turn the key to the "OFF" position.

No you should be fine if you didn't unhook the battery for a long period of time. The OBD 2 ECM is alot better and smarter then the older OBD 1 ECM. If the Check Engine light still stays on then you will need it tested and cleared. Unhooking the battery will not clear any codes. The learning process is done after 10 miles or so. If it starts and runs fine then your ok but if the alarm and keyless entry does not work if equiped then you will need to take it to the dealer to be reprogramed.

There is no quick release on these. Remove the front brackets and slide the cross bars off forward then reinstall the brackets ... be certain the toeque the fastners down.

First pop up the piece holding the lock and window switches and disconnect the plugs. Then remove 2 bolts first one under the handle and 1 under the lock and window switches. Then gently pry around the outside of the door panel. They make a small forked prybar tool for this.

You don't for newer vehicles. There is a small grid partway down the gas tank filler pipe which prevents normal sized plastic tubing from going all the way down to the gas. On older vehicles, or if you want to risk damaging or even blowing up the newer car (and yourself) by poking that grid out of the way with a longish hard metal rod, you can drop a plastic tube down into the tank, then, keeping a longish loop of it outside the car below the level of the gas filler opening so you can see when the gas starts to come out, suck vigorously on the end of the plastic tube until you see the loop starting to fill with gas. Then stop sucking unless you want your stomach pumped and/or risk cancer from getting gas in your mouth.

Pinch closed, then take the end of the loop that you've been sucking on and put it into the container you've been keeping nearby to contain the gas that you're syphoning out.

Straighten out the part of the tube outside the car so that the gas in the above mentioned longish loop now starts to flow into the container, drawing more gas out of the car's tank while doing so. The opening of the container must be below the level of the bottom of the gas tank of the car. Also, unless the aforementioned loop had its lowest point below the level of the bottom of the gas tank, you may have to keep pinching shut the end of the tube that you were sucking on while you are straightening out the loop and inserting the end of the tube into your container.

New Pads if needed . Remove the tire you will see a center bolt that holds the rotor on and once removing the rotor looks like a ring or a big washer . look in side to see if there deep grooves in there if so they need turning or replacement. and put all back together as you pulled all off.

I'd refer to the info panel on the driver's side door jamb, or I'd just ask my local tire dealer. On the side wall of the tire there is a bunch of numbers and letters usually looking like P195/60R15 (example only). Those numbers correspond to the tires tread and size.

the contol module is located under the coil packs .The entire assy.is on the right side of the engine (front of vehcle) under the exhaust manifold it's pretty tricky to get to. The entire assy. must be removed. It's fastened to the block with 3- 13mm bolts remove the assy remove the coil packs the module is under them be carefull not to bend the pins that plug into the coil packs. good luck!

first remove battery, remove air intake box, removewires, hose connections, nut holding heater lines coming from fill tank and remove. Remove 4 nuts holding heat shield on cross over exaust pipe , two bolts holding thermostat housing, remove and replace thermostat. after filling system be sure to open purge bolt and remove air from cooling system. not fun.

hood open, view from the front of the motor on your left, passenger of motor to the right of the front valve cover find a brass bleeder screw. To your right, drivers side of motor find where the top rad hose connectes to the termostate housing find an other bleeder screw, remove both screws [DON'T LOSE THESE SCREWS], and top up rad and overflow bottal until coolant runs freely and no bubbles from the bleeder holes , reinstall bleeder screws and tighten to a little more than finger tight. Start motor, normal warm up, check for leaks at bleeder screws!!, and your complete system.

More than likely if you ran out of gas like you said then added gasoline you probably stirred up the junk at the bottom of your tank and the stuff got clogged in your fuel filter,

Try draining the tank and changing the fuel filter, add fresh gas let settle for a while, and try starting the engine

I've run several different fuel injected cars out of gas and had the same problem. What I think happens is that the fuel pump picks up air and the system loses pressurization. What I do now is this: after putting gas in the tank, open your ears and listen carefully. Turn the ignition key to "run" (but do not START). You will hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds then shut off. After you hear the pump stop, turn the key off, and back to RUN again. Again, listen for the fuel pump to run and stop. Do this 3 or 4 times. Now try to start the car.

follow the top radiator hose to the intake. it should be there.
