Can you fix the OFF code on your 850 Volvo radio?
The OFF code on your Volvo radio stays on after the user has entered the wrong radio code three times or more. OFF actually means On but is in locked mode. To reset this problem so that you can re-enter your correct code, you must leave the radio on showing "OFF" for two hours, sounds ridiculous but its true, just did it myself last night. Make sure you have correct radio code, if not sure, call Volvo and they most likely will give it to you over the phone, just have your vehicles vin number handy. One last note, keep ignition in first accessory position while keeping raido powered for two hours. Once your radio is left on for two hours, CODE should appear, then just enter the four digit code and youre back in business:)

Without going into a long detailed explanation, which would have to consist of a semester of Physics plus
a semester of Engineering and would only confuse you anyway, let me just offer the following idea:
Do you ever listen to music or the weather report on the radio ? Do you ever sit and watch a TV show ?
When you go online, do you plug a cable into your computer, or do you have a "wireless" internet connection ?
Have you ever talked on a cell-phone ? Ever used a 'cordless' phone around the house ?
Ever been in a taxi while the dispatcher called the driver and told him where to pick up his next fare ?
I'm not going into how any of these things works. But EVERY one of them does exactly the same thing as
the CB radio that you're asking about in your question.
Is national public radio unchristian?
I listen to NPR quite regularly, and I have never heard a lesson, sermon, drosh,
d'var, maimar, or homily from any pastor, priest, imam, or rabbi. So I guess you'd
have to say that NPR is un-all-of-them.

How do you set the clock on the radio sound system in 1991 through 2005 Ford Explorer all models?
Press and hold the clk button and change the hour and the minutes with the tune button!
Radio MUST be turned ON. Press the RDS button located on right side. When "Select Hour" or "Select Min" shows up on display, change with scan or tune button. Took me 4-ever to figure that one out.
Mine is the combo radio-cassette player circa 1992.
Turn on the ignition and turn on the radio.
Press and hold the clock button.
Click the left Seek button for the hour and click the right seek button for the minute.
When the hour and minute are correct let go and its done
So this is what I have found out so far. I have a 1999 Pontiac TransAm with the WS6 package. My windows are currently not functioning and neither does my aftermarket radio. First check the ignition switch, if you are lucky then that will be the issue. If that is not it, check the BCM, next to the Glove Box, vertically mounted. I already had the Ignition switch changed, but now the Body Control Module (allows the windows to function and the radio to work after you turn off the car) has a short and needs to be replaced. With Pontiac being shutdown, you need to fix this fast.
Where can you find a wiring diagram for a radio in a 1998 dodge Dakota?
At any radio shop or maybe at wallmart
"Extremely High Frequency" (EHF) is the highest radio frequency band. It runs from 30 to 300 gigahertz and has a wavelength of ten to one millimeter, giving it the nickname millimeterwave or millimeter Band (mmW/ML Band).
Do radio stations get money off the government or do they earn it?
Every radio station is a business. It sells a product and experiences profit and loss, just like any
other business.
The product it sells is: Ears. It sells ears to department stores, fast food restaurants, telephone
companies, companies that manufacture cars, sell cars, rent cars, insure cars, paint cars, or fix
cars, plus furniture stores, soft drink bottlers, banks, clothing companies, breweries, shoe stores ...
anybody who has anything to sell you, and wants to tell you about what they're selling. They pay
the radio station, and the radio station lets them borrow your ears for 10 seconds, 30 seconds,
60 seconds ... depending on how much time they pay for ... and they use that time to tell you
all about what they're selling and why you really need it.
The more ears the radio station controls, the more they can charge for each minute of "commercial"
time. And that's the reason that the radio station wants everybody to think they're the best one,
and wants to have the most ears listening to them.
They don't get a dime from government. They paythe government big bucks for the license
they need before they're permitted to operate a radio station. The reason they're willing to
pay for it is that once they have a radio station, they can make so much more money off the
commercial advertisers ... as long as they can round up enough ears to sell.
The exact same story goes for TV stations. The only difference is: They sell eyes, not ears.
The radio station is just like any other office, with men, women, and maybe a few
boys and girls, working a job, trying to keep too much work straight, with not enough
time, for not enough money.
Make sure you know what date you won the contest, whose show it was on (the 'DJ'),
what time it was (or close to it), what the question was or what else you did to win
the contest, and what the prize is.
Then, if you have not heard anything from the radio station by the same day
of the next week, call the radio station on the telephone, and ask to speak to
someone about 'contests' or 'promotions'.
When you get someone who's ready to listen to why you're calling, say to them
"I won a contest on (the date) on (the DJ)'s show. I haven't received the details
of the prize yet, and I'm calling to ask when I might get the information, because
the date of the concert is coming up."
Good luck.
What is the in international radio code for the letter Y?
Phonetic . . . YANKEE
Morse . . . . . [ ââ€â‚¬ · ââ€â‚¬ ââ€â‚¬ ]
Do you only have a radio, or do you have a tape or CD player. If you have one of them, do they work OK? IF so, then you have an antenna problem. Try loosening and cleaning the antenna socket ( if it is a regular stalk antenna). IF it is an "in-glass" antenna, you can try to tighten the connection at the radio (hard to get at) and also check to see if there is a break in the wire in the glass or when it leaves the glass to go to the radio.
How do you remove the radio on a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country?
There is a nice PDF from pro-fit-intl.com at http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/Adobe/DG-91-01.pdf
Basically, you pull the small trim panel from directly above the pull-out cup holders (2 clips), remove the 2 middle (of 4) screws beneath, then work the trim panel off from the bottom up (6 clips).
