If you have 2 (a pair) it tells you in owners manual to program the 3rd. If you are programming a second, you will have to goto dealer so they can program it with drb3.

MODELS:

1995 - 1998 (FJ) Avenger/Sebring/Talon

DISCUSSION:

The listed models are shipped from the factory with only one key FOB transmitter. If

a second FOB is added, it must be purchased through MOPAR and is not considered a warrantable item.

Whenever a second FOB is programmed, the original FOB must also be re-programmed. If the original FOB is not re-programmed with the second FOB, the original FOB will not function.

The following two procedures are available to program key FOB transmitters.

Programming Procedures With The DRB III(R).

1. Connect the scan tool to the vehicle and power it up.

2. Select scan tool stand alone mode, current model year diagnostics, then body.

3. The screen will ask if this is a 95-99 Avenger/Sebring/Talon, select yes.

4. Follow the directions and prompts on the scan tool screen as follows:

a. Close all doors, turn ignition key to off.

b. Turn ignition key to Accessory.

c. Turn ignition key to off, door locks will cycle once (in programming mode).

d. For each key FOB, press any button 3 times in a row to program code. When

programming is complete, the door locks will cycle once.

NOTE:

IF A SECOND KEY FOB REQUIRES PROGRAMMING, IT MUST BE PROGRAMMED WITHIN 1 MINUTE OF

THE FIRST FOB PROGRAMMING. PRESS ANY BUTTON ON THE SECOND FOB 3 TIMES TO PROGRAM

ITS CODE. WHEN PROGRAMMING IS COMPLETE, THE DOOR LOCKS WILL CYCLE ONCE.

5. The programming mode finishes after the following:

a. Programming of two key FOBS is completed.

b. One minute has passed since programming.

c. Scan tool is disconnected.

d. Ignition switch is turned on.

e. Any of the doors are opened.

Manual Programming Procedure (non scan tool)

1. Connect pin 1 of the 16-way data link connector to chassis ground or to pin 4 of

the 16-way data link connector.

2. Close all doors, turn ignition key to off.

3. Turn ignition key to Accessory.

4. Turn ignition key to off, door locks will cycle once (in programming mode).

5. For each key FOB, press any button 3 times in a row to program code. When

programming is complete, the door locks will cycle once.

NOTE:

c. Pin 1 of 16-way data link connector is removed from ground connection.

d. Ignition switch is turned on.

e. Any of the doors are opened.

Reprogramming Remotes (from martybugs.net - this works I have done it)

Note that your local Mitsubishi dealer can reprogram remotes, but they will charge you. Rather than paying your Mitsubishi dealer, you can easily reprogram the remotes yourself in a few minutes.

You'll need to have all the remotes for the car when programming, because once you place the car into program mode, it will forget all previous remotes.

# To place the car into program mode, turn the ignition between ACC and IGN three times within a 5 seconds period, and then leave at the IGN position.

# The hazard lamps will flash once to indicate the car is now in program mode.

# Within 5 seconds of this acknowledgment, press any button on the first remote.

# The hazard lamps will flash once to indicate acceptance.

# Within 5 seconds press any button on the next remote to be taught. This process may be repeated for up to four keys.

# Program mode will be terminated by any of the following events:

#* The ignition is turned off. #* More than 5 seconds have elapsed since the last valid key code. #* Four keys have been taught to the BEM. #* No correct data has been received in 10 seconds.

For carrying around car keys and front door keys

If the helicopter tries to drift in a certain direction or rotates without any control stick input, you may need to adjust your trim. Move the trim sliders in the opposite direction that the helicopter is drifting. For example, if the helicopter tends to drift to the right, move the aileron trim slider a few notches to the left to counteract the the drift. Similarly, if the helicopter's nose is rotating to the left, move the rudder trim slider a few notches to the right. Adjust each trim slider as necessary so that when light on its skids, the helicopter remains as stationary as possible. Some drifting is normal because the helicopter is fighting ground effect.

If you've moved your rudder trim slider all the way to the end of its travel and the helicopter's rotation in the opposite direction is still not corrected, you may need to adjust the proportional trimmer potentiometer (pot) on the helicopter's receiver. Refer to your manual for more detailed instructions, but essentially this dial controls how fast the tail rotor spins relative to the main rotor. Turning the dial clockwise makes the tail rotor spin faster, which rotates the helicopter's nose to the right when spun up. Similarly, turning the dial counter-clockwise decreases the tail rotor speed, which rotates the nose to the left. By trial and error, adjust the trimmer pot so that when your rudder trim slider is close to its center of travel, the helicopter remains stationary

Some games like Disaster: Day of Crisis uses both the + and - buttons. If the game does not have a pause button, which is unlikely, pressing the HOME button will effectively pause it.

Most games can be paused with the + Button.

Of course you can, but you need to have wiring for the car. Also if you have security system you will have to learn how to bypass kill switch.

Open door

Turn ignition on

press valet button on and off 3 times (you will hear chime)

press lock button

turn ignition off

DONE!!

You cannot program a Direct TV receiver with this remote. The Toshiba TV this was designed for was introduced before the Direct TV HD systems came out. This remote does not control any model of DVR. If you want to control both of these with one remote, get a Logitech Harmony remote.

Usually this can work. Check on the internet on your brand of electronic and see if they suggest which universal to use. If not you can usually buy one from them over the internet also. No. There are thousands of combinations they can use with the same two products. If a universal would work, you would find your car door unlocked and everyone else in the parking lot. You have to contact the company who made the item and tell them the serial number. They should be able to replace the remote for you.
