Probably something is loose or worn... sorry to not be more specific, but you'll need to track it down to see WHAT is making that noise.

How do you replace the shift interlock on a 1998 Saturn SL1?
I don't know how to fix it perse, but we ran into the problem in my roommate's 98 SL2 where it was sticking and locking the key in the ignition. The problem was the actual mechanism where the shift lock connects to the gear shift was stuck or malaligned or something, if you pull out the cupholder and wiggle on it it seems to unstick it. I'm thinking a good cleaning should hopefully fix it permanently. I'm not even sure where to buy a replacement interlock.
Most wiper assemblies have a built in switching mechanism that keeps the wiper motor running until the blade is in the "home" position. If that mechanism fails and the wiper assembly is unable to detect the home position, the motor will just keep running.
It's usually easier to just get a new wiper assembly rather than fighting the old one.
Turn signal flasher 1995 grand am?
It is located behind the fuse block on the driver's side. When you open the drivers door you can plainly see the fuse block. (marked "FUSES") Flasher is behind that. You have to get to it from unde the dash. Take out panels under steering wheel. If you get your head down by the brake pedal you can see it. When I changed mine, I took out the little bracket that holds it in and relocated it to a lower place. I clipped the flasher bracket onto the little access door closest to the emergency brake (on the panel that you have to take out). Luckily the wires were long enough to enable this, so if you have to change it again, it's alot easier.
What does the TC button beside the hazard button do?
This is your Traction Control which prevents wheel spin. Turn it on and leave it on. The traction control comes on with each key cycle The button is to turn the traction control OFF If you want wheel spin or need to run vehicle on a dynomometer or hoist
Not certain on the instrument cluster, could be a fuse. But as for the shifter, I'm pretty sure it IS a fuse. Same thing happened to a friend of mine with the "won't come out of park" issue, when he replaced his battery. After everything we tried it finally came down to the relays and fuse box, where yes, there is a fuse for the elctronically shifted transmission. Hope this helps.

There is no dipstick. Level is checked via a specific bolt hole after engine is warm
and running and the car is 'level'. If the transmission fluid is slightly dripping
out of this bolt hole, or is even with the threads, then the level is correct.

If it is leaking. Fluid will be coming from the right side. Remove wheel and plastic cover behind it. look up and forward to see pully. There is a hole in the bottom of the pump. If you see leaking or streak from leaking . replace the pump.
open the hood, look for it, it will likely have a yellow tipped handle with a finger loop in it, it will be on the outside of the engine, front side most likely. If you are looking for a transmission dip stick, you won't find one, because it does not exist.

Insert the key as normal, but do not turn key all the way. Stop at "acc" accessory, wait no less than 10 min. (I waited 12 once). From "acc" you should be able to start the vehicle. This is called a Passkey re-learn procedure. Basically resetting the computer to recognize your encoded key. Dealerships can hit you hard if they convince you that a scanner is needed!

Every place I've looked has false info for what color wires are in the door itself! It's said that there are yellow and brown wires, not true..... the rear right positive is dark blue, and the rear left positive is light blue.
