Since the SL1 is a 4 cylinder engine with a single exhaust manifold, check (or replace) the FRONT oxygen sensor, which is in the exhaust manifold, just above the "headpipe". It looks a little like a sparkplug, and should be the only thing in the exhaust manifold that has a wire connected.

Most fuel tanks have no drain plug. I assume you need to remove the tank to replace the fuel pump. Siphoning is an option, but be aware that gasoline is poisonous and if you get any into your lungs, you may die. For that reason, I suggest you purchase an inexpensive hand pump at most auto parts stores and pump as much out as possible.

Trouble code 26 is a common GM fault. It means the Quad-Driver circuit has failed. the driver circuit is hardwired into the ECM and is not replaceable on its own. Before replacing the engine computer, follow all the ground points to make sure none of the grounds have failed. If all the wiring looks correct and good, then ECM replacement is necessasary

There are two places where the fuses are in that year Saturn. The first place in under the hood on the driver side of the car next to the battery. The other place is inside the car behind a plastic panel located on the passenger side a bit below the radio.
I don't know what kind of Saturn you have but it probably is in the right kick panel by the pass right foot. The PCM is located inside the passenger compartment under the dashboard tucked into the corner near the ABS module on the driver's side. The PCM is easily distinguished by the aluminum fins attached to the bottom of the module. BUT on a 1992 Saturn it is on the DRIVERS side. Look up under the dash to door side. You'll see it. 3 wire harnesses attached. ONE phillips-head-type bolt holds in it. About a half a twist on it and tug a little and it should drop right down. cheers If your Saturn is an S-Series (SC, SC1, SC2, SL, SL2, SL2, SW1 or SW2), its not on the passenger side. No Saturn S-Series had them on the passenger side. If its a 1991-1999, its just as described above. If its a 2000-2002, its just behind the battery. And a little FYI, the Saturn PCM's rarely fail. You have a better chance of getting struck by lightning in a cave 1000 feet under ground than having your PCM fail.
