Where is the fuse box on a 1994 Saturn SL1?
On my 97 SL2 it's on the passenger front side near where your left foot would go. You remove the panel as part of the center console and it's behind it. If it is anything like my 1995 Saturn SL2, the fuse box is under the hood on the drivers side close to the battery in a conspicuous black box. I have actually seen a wrecked Saturn with a fuse box in both places (under hood and inside on passenger side of center console) but I have no idea what year it was or why there were two fuse boxes. Good luck! In my 1994 Saturn SL1, there is a grey one under the hood on the driver's side AND one inside the car on the passenger side where the left foot would go.
How do you bleed the hydraulic clutch on a 2000 Saturn SL2?
unfortunately Saturn went out on a limb to produce easy swappable parts in their cars. the clutch hydraulic system can not be bleed. it was intended on being replaced as an entire unit, filled with fluid and bleed at the factory. I've made many trips the salvage yards to obtain a entire assembly.

I NEED AN ANSWER FOR THE 1997 VILLAGER
I have a 97 Villager and recently had this exact problem. I replaced the speed sensor (i.e. buy one at Autozone) and that was the fix. The ABS light might come on too as a symptom it is not working. Use penetrating oil on the only bolt that holds the old sensor in place(oil penetrates better if the engine is somewhat warm) and then s-l-o-w-l-y loosen it via small back and forth wrenching, else you can snap it off- located in the transmission housing. Put anti-seize on the bolt when retightening it.
Saturn sl1 2000 power seat will not work can it be a fuse or worse peblems?
It CAN be the fuse, but why did the fuse blow in the first place? It could also be the motor, switch, connectors... It's one of those things that will require a little research.

How do you change the oil filter in a 1994 Saturn SL?
Put the front of the car up on ramps or jack stands - this lets you get under the car to access the oil filter. Jacking the rear of the car up level with the front helps the oil in the filter drain without getting all over the frame and axle, but it's still a mess when the oil trapped in the filter lets go. Optionally, you can jack up the right front, remove the wheel, remove the plastic fender liner and access the oil filter that way.
Got it - cracked Engine Coolant Temp sensor for computer - guess I was tired when I first looked and missed it on the scan tool, (I was sick the day before and stayed home from work) it was showing -1 to 5 degrees when the car had been sitting for 24 hours and intake air temp was 43 degrees. Replaced the sensor and did a tune up, all is great again.

Block heaters on S-Series 1.9L engines are an option, not a factory offering. It is an external heater that bolts up to the front of the block next to the exhaust manifold. Earlier blocks (91-98) have a slightly longer heater than later (99-01) blocks because of an additional rib in the block casting.

How good do 1993 Saturn SL2s run?
Well, I've got a 93 SL2 that has 170,000 miles on it, and aside from standard maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups and the like, it runs like a champ. I've got the 1.9 litre DOHC Motor, and the Manual Transmission. I love the car to death. I deliver pizza for Pizza Hut and put anywhere from 50 to 100 miles of hard use on my car per day. It has taken more abuse from me with less complaint than any other car I've owned(more than 20 cars). It's fast(0 - 60 in 6 to 7 secs!), efficient(28 mpg) and fun! Saturn comes highly recommended by me! :)
Beware! The SL1s and SL2s from appr 1991 to 1994 are very sensitive. I just had my engine replaced (92 SL1) and spent appr 3700 on the job (including tow trucks and a crate engine and the mechanics time). I was told by my mechanic that if I had the SL2 for that year the job might have cost me up to 1500 dollars more than it did. The difference between the two models is that the SL1 has a single overhead cam, the SL2 has a dual overhead cam. I love my car, and its zippy and fun, but it needs more frequent tune-ups than are recommended, even by the manufacturer. Just my personal experience.
I have a 1995 SL2 manual trans. I deliver pizza for domino's, I've put 45000 miles in just one year, it went through snow, rain, and mud, the only thing I've done was regular oil changes and basic tune ups. By the way my sat have 150000 miles now and still runs like new. I love my saturn, it's by far the best car I've ever owned!!
I have a 1993 Saturn SL2 and my buddy has 1995 Saturn SL2. Trust me, we would like to burn them to the ground, useless junk.
