Is it all right to drive without the timing belt on 2004 Camry?
You aren't likely to drive anywhere with a broken timing belt because the engine will not run. Can you tow the car? Of course.
Where is the thermostat located and how do you replace it on a 1999 Nissan Altima?
Follow the upper radiator hose back to the engine block. There will be a cover plate with bolts holding it to a housing. This housing contains the thermostate. It has to be taken apart with the 2 possibly 3 bolts and a gasket. A LOT of fluid will pour out when you break the seal and open it. It maybe very difficult to get out without special tools to get to the bolts. You will then need to reseal it with rtv or supplied gaskets. I prefer ultra copper rtv.
Why won't daytime running lights shut off in my 2007 Toyota Camry when the engine is off?
Some car will keep headlights for some time after the engine was stopped. I guess it was done so you can find the door to your house.
If the lights do not go off at all, it means that the daytime running relay is not working and most likely has to be replaced.

How do you change a marker bulb in a Toyota Camry?
RTFM! Read the f*cking manual! The Toyota owner's manual has an illustration.
This is a very easy task.
(The driver side marker bulb is tricky because it's in a tight space beside the battery and fuse box cover. The bulb required is a GE 194 5W which costs about $2.)
Twist counterclockwise and remove the grey plastic bulb holder.
Replace the bulb.
Test new light operation with key in ignition switch and in the on position.
Replace the holder in the slot and twist into locked position.

What is the reset code for 2004 Toyota Camry CD radio tape player?
You may have to return to the dealer for this code if you don't have it. There is no universal reset code that will work. The dealer will charge for this service. There is a very good reason to save things like this when buying a car. One never knows when it's going to be needed and I have mine for my 2004 VW in my wallet.

Is it necessary to replace the timing belt on a 1998 Toyota Camry at 60000 miles?
If the timing belt breaks on the 87 nothing happens, other than the car stops running. This may not be good if you're in the middle of traffic or you just pulled out in front of that semi, but I suppose the belt could break at 59K also if it's that critical. I would ask the dealer if your car bends valves if the belt breaks, but do you think Toyota built in a little reliability percentage number with a recommended change at 60K? What if you go 62K - is that a disaster? I know someone who now has 127K on his belt and he wants to see how long he can go until it lets go...
So, how conservative are you?
Answerno, Toyota recommends a 90,000 mile interval***********
1998 was the first year the Corolla got the 1.8liter 1ZZ FE, with a timing chain, some Corollas in North America for 1998 got that engine but not all, make sure what engine you have
How do you replace the thermostat located on a 1992 Toyota Camry le?
The stat is located at the lower end of the top radiator hose within the water outlet.Remove the 2-3 bolts that hold the water outlet in place, carefully tap it to free it and remove it.Remove stat. You do not have to drain coolant down any lower that the stat level.Dry off the mating surfaces, clean surfaces , install gasket with sealer( or o-ring with vaseline ) install stat the same way you took out the old one. Snug bolts evenly to avoid cracking the housing. Fill with coolant and leave rad cap off for 15 minutes to bleed air out and top off the coolant. I hope this helps you. Mark
What do you do if you notice an oil leak in the engine of a Toyota Camry?
First, find out where the oil is leaking from. If it's leaking from the drain plug you might get by with just getting a new drain plug gasket and changing the oil. It could also be leaking from the oil filter in which case just change the oil filter. If it's leaking from the rocker cover gasket or the pan gasket you can drop the pan or remove the rocker cover and replace the gasket but if you haven't done it before it might be a little overwhelming. It might be leaking from the "rear main seal", that's the seal on the crankshaft of the engine where it connects to the transmission. If that's the case you have some expenses ahead of you. Just plan on adding oil when it gets low and start looking for another car if you don't want to spend that much money.
