Where would you find an oxygen sensor on a 1982 Toyota Corolla wagon 1.8 liter?
The O2 sensor(s) are generally located on the exhaust system beyond the exhaust manifold There may be more than one. typically there is one between the manifold and the catalytic converter. Generally they cost around $50 - $60 for each one.
Why won't a 1990 Toyota Corolla key turn?
It could be the wrong key...not inserted completely (or inserted to far if the lock is damaged)...the steering wheel lock could be exterting extra pressure on the lock (try moving the steering wheel a bit to see if that helps)
Why would the steering wheel of your Toyota Corolla vibrate when you press the brake pedal?
The wheels were probably overtorqued. Have the rotors turned and the wheels torqued correctly. The mechanic more than likely overtightened the lug nuts holding your wheels on. With all of the horror stories of people having their wheels come off while riding down the road, service garages and mechanics are probably being over cautious. If tight is good, then even tighter is better. Unfortunately, what happens is that they end up warping the brake rotors (the disks that your break pads pinch together on to make your car stop). The warped rotors then give you that pulsing effect when you brake. Newer cars have lighter weight rotors that are more susceptible to warping, and, if your rotors are old or have been turned on a lathe, they are narrower and weaker and can warp easier.

Why wont Radio and dome light work in 99 Cherokee?
I fixed the no-headlight problem on my 1996 Jeep Cherokee (not a Grand) by replacing the headlight switch. As I recall, the black plastic knob is removed from the outside. Then, there is a button on the switch housing itself which is difficult to reach - you have to put your head on the floor and reach way up underneath. Pushing the button allows the stem to be pulled out from the front. My memory isn't clear. It is also hard to get the large connector loose because of the plastic clips holding it in.
I don't know why the old switch wouldn't work. I had no faith that replacing it would do any good. It did - the lights have worked without issues since.
Hope this helps.
How do you remove a starter from a '98 Toyota Corolla?
Are you sitting down? If the bottom bolt is not there then the bolt is coming into the starter from the inside of the transaxal housing whick means a it's a CVCC type engine. Not sure if you have to pull the engine my accord's starter just went out and this is what I found by feeling no bolt on the bottom mount and sticking a pensicle in there and finding something blocking. The Chilton book that I have shows a pic of the bolt inside the houseing. I'm gona get durnk good luck
The other bolt is behind the stabelizer bar. if your hands and arms are small enough you can get behind it with a rachet wrench and not have to remove the stabelizer bar. It's the upper bolt on the short end of the stabelizer.
there's a bolt on the right front side and one from behind on the left side. Get the new one, look at it, make sure it matches the one that's in there, the bolt from the back is a little tricky, but you can get to it. I had to remove a stabilizer bar thingy to get a wrench and my arm in there. Mine's an 82 Honda accord 3 door hatch back, just swapped it out a month ago.
while looking at ste starter motor from the side of the car stick your left hand around past the upper bolt of the stabalizer bar you willm find a bolt use a # 14 open end wrench it will take time but i did it cool

Is there a diagram of a 1992 Toyota Corolla engine?
Yes, there is a diagram of a 1992 Toyota Corolla Engine. This diagram can be found in the cars specific maintenance manual, found in auto part stores.
It could be your catalytic converter... yes, catalytic converters clog on these often. its fairly easy to unbolt it from the exhaust manifold. if you take it off, shine a flashlight up from the bottom, you should be able to see light from the top.
Lug nut bolt broke while trying to get tire off how do you remove it?
You may have to get a nut splitter, a grinder, or a hammer and chisel to get nut off and then have stud replaced. Hopefully the splines in the drum haven't been torn out and a new stud can be pressed in. If not, you might be running a lug nut short (which is not at all wise) or you'll have to come up with a new drum. Auto recyclers live for challenges like this.
Is it easy for a beginner to change rear brake pads on a 2000 Nissan Maxima?
It is easy but everything has to go inorder. Get a manual on your car from DISCOUNTAUTOREPAIRMANUALS.COM and it will help on the next repair and get you acquainted with your car also.
easy is relative. i don't alot of work on my cars but it's fairly straight forward. front discs are easier to change. i'd recommend changing with a friend. 1. loosen lug nuts 2. jack car up 3. take off wheel 4. make sure emergency brake is off, and remove it from brake assembly. it's a bolt on top w/a clamp and spring, and a bolt on the bottom of the arm. 5. remove 2 bolts holding caliper in place. pry caliper off rotor (i find using a big flathead screwdriver does best...wedge it between rotor and caliper) 6. remove 2 bolts holding caliper together and pull pads out of calipers...careful not to damage pins/shims 8. push piston back into boot so new pads will fit. this will require a tool. front brake piston can be pushed with a c-clamp, but rear requires a tool fitting the '+' shape. available in autoparts store...get a socket extension for your rachet too. (don't try to do with anything else, or you'll just get frustrated) turn clockwise and simultaneously push. 9. put new pads in, aligned same way as old ones 10. slide back on rotor and assemble everything in reverse order of disassembly
should take a couple hours.
Where can i find a 1994 Toyota Corolla fuse panel diagram?
I'm researching this at the moment as I just had mine in to fix the radio, apparently there's one easy to find one, I believe above the pedals (you need to move the drivers seat back to get to it) and apparently one between the glovebox and the dashboard.
Where is the starter relay located on a 1990 Toyota Corolla?
Hi, I just saw this and thought I could offer some help as I had removed my starter relay and made some repairs to it. It is fairly difficult to find: Push your driver side seat back and position yourself so your head is looking up underneath the stearing column (the top of your head should be pointing at the brake pedal). Look just to your right of the stearing column, its up a far way. For me it was a small grey box. If you've found it, now you need to remove it, which is just as difficult as finding it. I believe there is some sort of clip mechanism that holds it there, you need something to push that clip in and the cartridge should slide off (mine was stuck on there pretty good). Now that you have it off you probably want to fix it, I just cleaned it up and scratched off some of the corrosion on it and it worked fine from then on. Note: these directions took place on a 92 Honda Prelude SR so no guarantee they are the same for all models. Good luck. ~Morgan
How do you fix a radiator crack?
If its not too big and depends were its at you can use JB weld. its cheap and easy.
USUALLY,MOST CARS UNFORTUNATELY HAVE PLASTIC ENDS ON EACH SIDE OF RADIATOR ,OVER TIME THEY DECAY,A RADIATOR IS UNDER A LOT OF PRESSURE,AND THE TWO DON'T MIX,THIS COULD BE THE CASE.REPLACING THE RADIATOR IS THE ANSWER ,PATCHING IT ONLY BUYS YOU A LITTLE TIME .YOU MAYBE BROKE DOWN AGAIN SOONER THAN YOU THINK,LEAVING YOU STRANDED.NOT A GOOD IDEA TO PATCH IT.BUY A NEW ONE THAT'S CHEAPER THAN RUNNING IT HOT POSSIBLY CAUSING THE ENGINE TO OVERHEAT CRACKING A HEAD OR BLOWING A HEAD GASKET.THESE ARE VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIRS 10 TIMES WHAT A RADIATOR WOULD COST YOU.
What does it mean when my brake light stays on?
It probably means that there is a problem with the electrical connection between the brake ligts and the brake pad and so it does not light when one brakes. Another possibility is that there could be a real serious defect in the braking system e.g. the brake fluid tubes.
AnswerIt means a lot of things, but the most common and simplest is that one of the brake light bulbs burned out. Honda puts two in each brake light so you don't get rear-ended on the freeway or pulled over by the cops before you can get to the auto parts store, but check your brake lights by pulling each bulb, inspecting it and cleaning the socket. It could also mean the brake fluid is low. The most common reason for this is that the brake fluid in the reservoir goes down as your brake pads wear our. Warn pads often result in low fluid and a brake warning light. Check your fluid level. If its low don't fill it. First, check your brake pads front and rear to see if they are worn out. If you fill the reservoir and then replace the pads, you will spill fluid out of the reservoir when you push the pistons back in the calipers.
The other most common brake light indication is if the emergency (parking) brake is engaged. Check to make sure it is released.
I have to disagree with the second answer. Normal brake wear will NOT cause a lower fluid level. The brake indicator on usually always means low fluid in the brake system. Blown light bulbs in the brake circuit will NOT cause a brake light to come on. It is only something directly related to the brake system. Brake Fluid is the monitored component in the brake system. It also will give an ABS light with LOW FLUID,,,,possibly indicating a leak.
