How do you change 2006 Solara cabin filter?
Ah, easy one. You'll find instructions in your owners manual page 198. If you don't have a manual here's the basic procedure: 1. Open glove compartment door. On the right side you'll see a small arm (attached to a hydraulic piston) connected to the door with a Phillips screw. Remove the screw and set aside someplace safe. Remove the arm from the door by pulling (gently) toward the right side of the car. 2. Remove the door by squeezing both sides inward and levering downward. Set the door aside. 3. You'll see a 'drawer' immediately behind where the glove box door was. Pull out the drawer and you'll find the filter inside. Remove/replace the filter and reassemble in the reverse order. It took longer to read that than to actually do it. Cheers
Toyota corolla 1990 distributor leaking oil where?
There are both an inner and an outer seal. The outer seal is about 2" in diameter and the inner one about 1/2". The little one is hard to find and hard to put in. I have replaced the outter seal twice and still have a small leak - about a 10 of a qt every 100 miles. Bummer

How do you remove oxygen sensor from 1990 Toyota Celica ST?
First off use a spray lubricant very liberally on the threaded area of the sensor. (I recommend PB Blaster. It is a miracle in a can!) Secondly, cut the lead wire close to the sensor so you can use a socket on it. (preferably a 6 point to reduce the risk of rounding off the soft brass hex. Use 1/2" drive for leverage). when installing the new one use a crescent wrench. Do not over-tighten.

I feel your pain! I had the same problem and tried putting the inner pad first with the spring on with a rubber band to keep it from coming off. Then all I had to do was position the outer pad onto the other two holes. Got it to work, but relatively simple once I figured it out. This is the first time I've worked on this type of vehicle, so hope that helps you out. BTW the rubber band was on the inner part of the pad on the metal backing, and eventually will break and not do any harm whatsoever. If anyone knows a simpler way, PLEASE, let us both know!

What is the sensor on 2009 Toyota Corolla air filter housing?
Although I have not personally seen this sensor, the only sensors that are usually in the intake are MAF sensors MAP sensors and IAT sensors. MAF sensors are usually a whole section of pipe and when you look through them you'll see a screen with bars that run across the diameter of the pipe. These sensors tell the car how much air is flowing through the intake. IAT sensors are usually small sensors that plug into a grommet in the intake that have a guard around them. These tell the computer what the temperature is of the incoming air so the car can adjust the air/fuel ratio accordingly. IAT sensors work in conjunction with MAP sensors. MAP sensors tell the car what the pressure is of the air that is coming in, when the computer compares this reading with that of the IAT it can calculate how dense the air is in order to adjust the air/fuel mixture. If I were to take a guess I would say its the IAT sensor.

In order to remove the scratches and Haze on the plastic you must first wet sand using 1500 grit, then 2000 grit and lastly 2500 grit. Also use a soft block so the sanding is even.
The wet sanding will remove all of the heavy scratches and the haziness. Each step of wet sanding will result in a smoother surface which will be easier to buff up.
Once sanded the headlight plastic should be smooth and scuffed. You will then have to use a buffing wheel with a medium grit compound. This will bring the shine back to the plastic by removing the micro scratches created by the wet sanding.
Once you have a nice shine you can throw a coat of wax on them and wipe them down with a micro fiber towel.
I recommend calling a local car detailer or auto body shop. The usually charge around $125. Another option is buying new headlights.
How do you remove left-hand mirror on 1996 Toyota Corolla?
"THIS IS ONLY FOR ELECTRIC MIRRORS" start by prying off the little panel panel on the inside of the door then you will see 3 nuts 10mm I think remove thos while holding the mirror on the outside and carefully pull pull the mirror out and disconnnect the electric harness. For manual mirrors do the same procces but when removing the panel on the inside you have to work around the handle and if you cant pull the handle off.
How do you break into a 2001 Toyota corolla that you locked the keys inside?
The obvious answer, call a locksmith, but other than that. You can try to use a hanger to jimmy it open by sliding the hanger down between the door and the window and pulling it back up underneath the locking mechanism on the outside of the door.
Alternately, break a window.

Where is the fuse box location on a Toyota Corolla?
The fuse box for Toyota corolla 1993-97 models is located under the hood just behind the battery (on the driver side). Should be fairly easy to locate 2 black plastic enclosures with components listed on the top of the box. Just pop open the lid of the box to have access to the fuses. Hint: There is plastic fuse plucker attached on the inside of the lid to help remove fuses.
There is also a fuse panel in the driver's side and passenger side kicker panels if those were the fuses you were needing to locate.(At least on the '97 Corolla.) If you have the Owner's manual for the vehicle, it will tell you as well as show you where the fuses are located.
