on the themostat housing where the upper rad hose meets the intake manifold
Hey, I had a problem like this and solved it. Take a test light and check at the ecm for power (with the key on) at the orange and black wire. My car had a broken connector in the engine compartment that feeds power to the ecm. Take some electrical tape and wire covers off. It is where two large orange wires meet three small orange wires. After repairing that, my car started right up. Good luck, Ken- Martin Auto Body
How do you change cabin filter Hyundai xg350l?
To remove existing filter: 1. Open the glove compartment, locate and remove the spring-loaded stop cord on the right hand side of the glove compartment. This is done by slightly pulling the cord into the glove compartment then feeding it back through the hole. It is spring loaded but will park in an easily reachable position. 2. Locate and remove the rubber stoppers on each side of the glove compartment and remove by pulling them out on the leading edge and slide them toward you. 3. Swing the glove compartment door down to the floor. 4. Locate and remove the 10MM bolts one each side of the lower portion of the panel behind the glove compartment. 5. Locate and remove the Phillips head screws one on each side of the upper portion of the panel behind the glove compartment. There is also one on the lower right side.
6. Locate and remove the 10MM nut located in the center portion of the panel. 7. Carefully pull out the glove compartment panel releasing the two locking clips and disconnect the two electrical connections. 8. Remove the bottom panel by carefully releasing the two locking clips and a tab that hooks onto the front lip of the blower housing. 9. Locate the filter access door and remove by pulling down and outward on the bottom lip. 10. Pull the dirty cabin filter out by the small handle located in the center of the filter. 11. Install the new filter paying close attention to the airflow directional arrows. 12. Reverse the procedure to complete assembly
Why won't my 2007 jetta key go in the ignition?
I just had this happen to me over the July 4th Holiday. Luckily I was parked at home when it happened. The first time I realized something was wrong was when I pulled into my driveway, turned off the car, and pulled the key out of the ignition. The metal part of the key was extremely hot. I thought it was unusual but I didn't pay it too much attention. About an hour later I got into my car and went to crank it up - the key would not go into the ignition. I thought the steering wheel was locked - it wasn't. I tried all of my keys and none worked. The key fobs didn't work all of a sudden either. It sounds strange, but the car car is acting as if there is a key in the ignition because the door dings when it is open, and it shouldn't. Waited until Monday and called Roadside Assistance. It was towed to my local VW dealership. I called the dealership to touch base with them. They told me there was another Jetta sitting out in the lot with the same problem. I should hear from them this afternoon. I'll send a second reply when I know what caused it.

UNDER HOOD, CENTER, REAR ENGINE AREA, BELOW EGR VALVE, MOUNTED IN ENGINE BLOCK You can only get to the crankshaft sensor from the bottom of your car, it's gonna be like a feeling game. It's right behind and above the starter. You're gonna need a 10mm 1/4" drive rachet. You may be able to see it from the top to get a good idea. Green connector with one yellow wire and one purple. I just changed mine today. It's pretty easy, if you jack the car up high enough. Please be sure to block your wheels and use heavy duty jackstands for safety (not cheap aluminum ones). Also remove the negative battery cable first so you don't burn yourself on starter connections. Be sure to where your safety glasses under vehicle.

Not sure about a 1995 model but on the 1993 model.....
...pop the hood, against the firewall/bulk head on the left you'll see a large black box. There is a connector with 4 wires going to it. There is a (almost) diamond shape piece of plastic with 2 bolts at each corner that the 4 wires are connected to. Remove those 2 bolts and lift out the resistor pack.

How do you reset a check engine light on a 1996 Toyota Camry LE?
First, if it is something like a loose gas cap, just tighten it and it will reset itself in the next 100 miles or so. If it is something else, like a leaky gas cap it will never reset. But to reset the OnBoardDiagnostic (OBD)Computer... Go to eBay and search "obdII" and buy one, they run about $50.00 including shipping. There are two types, ISO for Chrysler and some Japanese, and the other one for all the others like Ford and GM. There are several that are both, that is the kind you want. Be sure to email the eBay seller and ask if it is used with your year and model. (1996 was a changeover year for OBDII technology, so this advice may not apply to everybody--but the dealer service guy can tell you over the phone--ask him if it is OBDII compliant.) When you get it, you just plug it in and let it cycle 4 or 5 times and it resets everything. You then have to drive your car for 50 to 100 miles for the onboard computer to test everything, and in the meantime your car will fail smog checks because it has no history in the computer and the smog test procedure demands a history even if there is no pollution. Cut and Paste http://search.ebay.com/OBDII for a list of them for sale on eBay. Most units come with a list of generic fault codes so you can tell what the problem is, this could be very helpful.
