Changing a VW Polo clutch cable requires exposing both ends of the cable. An open ended wrench will be needed to loosed the existing cable. After replacing the cable, be sure to bleed the line to prevent failure.

Leave to an expert, its a lot of work and basically the same process for doing the timing belt. Needs a few special tools that the average household won't have.

Pull your tires off, Remove the two bolts holding on your Caliper, pull your calipers off and remove the old pads, Press your calipers back using a C clamp or something making sure your break fluid doesn't run over, then put it back together. repeat for the other side.

Under steering wheel on RH drive there is a glove box. It is located behind this. You need to remove the glove box, carefully by squeezing both ends and pull it free. the chart is located on the rear of the box but is impossible to read

with the engine turned off hold down the trip meter button on the right hand side of your instrument panel (0.0) swith on the ignition but not the engine then when service now appears press the minute button on the left side of the instrument panel and it will reset.

change ur brake pads?

You use the little knob that you use for setting the trip counter so instead of pressing it in (which resets the miles) turn it left to change the hours and right to change the minutes on your clock

To remove the gearbox from a Volkswagen Polo the engine must be hoisted out of the car. Several of the engine components must be removed including the exhaust manifold and clutch lines. The gearbox is held on by several large bolts to the engine.

Now, on the left of the picture is a bright orange bit with a ring at the top, that's the dipstick. On the left of that is a black hose leading up and turning right into the casing for the air filter.

A Philips screwdriver will get you in to get at the air filter.

The cam belt drives the cam, keeping it in time. If the cam belt breaks, the engine not only will not run, but could be damaged. Make sure to change the belt at the recommended intervals.

step 1 . remove air bag fuse, disconnect battery & there are cpa clips in the right and left fuse box disconnect connectors from there (yellow and black wires)
step2. wait 20 min after disconnecting the battery, then proceed with the air bag removal.
step 3. back of the steering column there are 2 screws remove them to get access to the back part of the steering wheel. there would be another 2 screws holding the air bags 8 or 10 drivers are needed unscrew them , remove wiring harness.remove air bag
step 4. to install reverse the process.
step 5. for passenger side remove the glove box in the dash then you wil access 2 screws holding the airbags. unsrew them remove harness. reverse the process for installion. :)

That's quite common situation. Under the bonnet are to holes (one is located under the battery) allowing water from engine bay to go out. When some dirt or leafs stuck there, water level goes up and water starts going through air vents to the car. Have it in 2 passats. Easy to fix with just a screwdriver. You must make those two holes open again.

I have just paid £120 as they only guarentee the cam belt if they do the pistons at the same time
