Windows and Linux can be on the same machine. You have to look at Linux FAQ's to determine which to install first as I don't remember. The point is that it isn't difficult and it isn't crazy.

To switch the machine has to be rebooted. There was an effort to have an emulator under Linux (e.g. WINE) to run a windows session in a Linux window. I don't know the status but you take a performance hit

There are commercial products for running different OS's from within Windows, do a google search. These are availablke for the MacOS as well

The latest versiuon of OSX is claimed to be able to run windows as a built in feature. Go to apple.com to find out

You'd use a Hex editor. Search on Google for a free one. However... why would you want to do this? Messing around with system DLLs is a very good way to seriously damage your operating system install, sometimes to the extent that it won't boot. Unless you have created the DLLs that you intend to change, I would not recommend doing this.

Answer: it is by design; unlike older versions, Windows 7 doesn't have a built-in DOS-emulator. Download and use DosBox.

Right click the backyard baseball shortcut or executable, click properties, and go to the compatibility tab, and run it in compatibility mode for whatever version it was made for. If it doesn't work after that you're out of luck.

First, back up all your data on to an external hard drive or DVDs, or transfer it to another computer with a flash drive or over the internet. Make sure that everything you want is off the hard drive, then restart your computer.

Before the Windows XP screen comes up, it will probably say, "Press delete to enter setup". Press delete when this comes up, and reconfigure your boot devices so that your CD drive is #1. Go around to each door and run the windows up and down from each individual door switch. This will reinitialize them. When you press or push each switch only pull/press hard enough on the switch to function the windows......if you push each switch all the way it tries to "auto" slide and won't program.

Insert Desperados (Wanted Dead or Alive) CD.

Go to Start > My Computer (or Computer if using Vista or Windows 7).

Right-click on Desperados CD Icon and click "Open" to open the CD folder.

Right-click on Desperados application icon (file is actually called "Desperados") and click on "Properties".

In the file properties, click on the "Compatibility" tab.

Make sure the box labelled "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" is ticked > Click on the drop down option just beneath and select Windows XP (Service Pack 3).

No, you can't burn a CD without a CD recorder(CD writer), unless you mean "burn" literally.

You can save it to your hard drive but not to another disc, except a rw disc but then it would be data and only a computer would be able to read it. can't save to rw unless you have a burner
