Not a valid code. If it's P0134 the it would be oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1, no activity detected.

If it's the inside of the exhaust that's black it could be caused by burnt oil in the engine.
Right switch, wrong window? Heres why! . Somebody was dozy on the assembly line. They connected the loom incorrectly but it's an easy fix. You have to get into the centre console to access the area where the 4 door wires meet at the master control panel. Find the rear passenger door wire by...

Definitely sounds like an electrical problem. First check the fuse that controls the window circuit to be sure it isn't blown out. The guy at the local transmission repair shop told me it sits on top of the engine control module. You have to remove the console to get to it.
You will need to remove the short section of exhaust pipe just down stream from the "Y" piece. The starter can then be removed fairly easily. You will need to replace the exhaust gaskets, the gasket on the downstream side is kinda hard to find. Before you try to remove the exhaust flange bolts spray...

There should be a button labeled "Power" for me it's in front of the hand brake. Look around, im sure you'll find it. And to activate it you just press it and on your dash the light should come up.

The engine oil drain is a hose which clips to the frame under the engine. The hose has a plastic plug in it secured by a hose clamp. Loosen the clamp and pull the plug out to let the oil drain out. On a 2002 Rodeo it is located just behind the 2 cam gears which are right up front on top behind the plastic cover. I had to loosen the valve cover(12 small bolts on top) and pull the spark plug boots off for clearance to remove/replace it. All in all it's relatively easy.
My 1998 Rodeo had a cracked head after a year when I was taking a trip. The warranty covered it but the truck was at the dealer for more than a month. They screwed it up and ended up changing both heads. I have not had a problem since then. You should take it to dealer and have it replaced under...

I had the same problem on my MX-3. You can reach up from under the car and feel for the spring release to pop the hood. I assume you have the 3.2L 6 cyl engine. You will have to remove the front pulley on engine that drives all belts-the bolt takes a 15/16" socket-it will be very tough to remove if it's the first time. I used a "chain type" strap wrench tool-similiar to n oil filter strap wrench-to hold the pulley...
