Generally you start at the wheel farthest from the master cylinder and work your way closer, like right rear, left rear, right front, left front. However, I have seen certain cars that require a different proceedure, yours may be one of them Also, if your car has anti-lock brakes it can get more complicated. In any case, I usually ask somebody to sit in the drivers seat and pump the brake pedal a couple times and then hold it down with slight pressure while I open the bleeder and close it. 3 or 4 times for each wheel, or until all the air bubbles are gone. Please check for the manufacturers recommended procedures buy purchasing a repair or service manual.

sound like a short in the headlamp switch.....I had a similar problem in my 98 chrys sebring...I took off the headlamp/turn signal switch and found a broken wire.....headlights and turn signals worked...taillights didn't...........

When the check engine light is on, the computer sets a fault code. Most auto parts stores will check this code for free and tell you how to fix it.

all right before I even write one thing I will say this. I am not in anyway or form responsible for any mistakes you make. If you mess it up don't cry to me but fix it because you messed it up. So if you are not confident on doing a timing belt change DO NOT DO IT, save yourself the hassle and go and get someone else to do the dirty work. First I will start off with a parts list that you need: 1. New timing belt (Goodyear gator series are good bang for the buck) 2. Water pump (I picked a new bosch but there are other brands) 3. Valve cover gasket (It is a must. Putting an old one on can and will cause oil leakage) 4. spark plug grommets (Another must you do not want to leak oil) 5. Valve cover rubber washers (optional unless yours is dry rotted) 6. Can of degreaser (optional but i recommend it) 7.oil change (optional) 8.Patience,Patience and more patience Now a list of tools needed 1.a good metric socket set from 6 mm to 19 mm 2. Good set of metric wrenches (optional but i would recommend it) 3. Strap wrench or chain wrench (either will do) 4. Breaker bar (IT IS A MUST!!!!!) 5. Impact wrench (optional) 6. Small sledge hammer (in case you do not have an impact wrench) Before going on make sure you have all parts and tools so you do not have to makes ten million runs to pepboys Instructions 1. DISCONNECT BATTERY!!!!! If you have an aftermarket system or head unit make sure you have the code!!! 2. Remove vacuum line to valve cover then spark plugs After removing spark plugs remove valve cover. 3. Remover all drive belts (Power steering,A/C,and alternator) Check for wear and replace if necessary 4. Remove power steering pump and set aside. Take off top feed line and move towards intake manifold to free up more room. 5. Now it is time to jack your car up. Make sure you put your parking break on along with some type of wood block to further ensure it will not roll. Place car on jack stands. The higher the better. 6. Now remove the front wheel and splash shield from the left or drivers side wheel well. 7. Position the number one piston (farthest from distributor at TDC [top dead center). Remove distributor cover and make sure the timing is right and it is sparking on the number 1 piston which is the lower left hand side. Also always turn the crankshaft in a counter clockwise manner or timing will be off and you could run the risk of valve damage. 8. (optional) you can loosen up the alternator to remove of the belt but you can leave it on till you remove the UDP (under drive pulley) 9. Remove of the under drive pulley. The threads are not reverse so do not turn in a reverse thread manner or it will be even harder to get off. You have to use the chain or strap wrench and hold on while using a breaker bar or impact wrench. If you do not have an impact wrench get a sledgehammer and hit the end of the breaker bar till it comes loose. (it is extremely tight so be patient) Remove of the UDP. 10. remove of the plastic covers that cover the timing belt. 11. Place a jack under the oil pan and make sure to put a piece of wood between any metal to metal contact to reduce scratching and braking anything. 12. Remove engine mount (drivers side) 13. Remove water pump (be careful you will have plenty of coolant coming out so a drain pan is good idea) replace water pump no matter what even if it looks new. The bearing tend to go and overheating will occur. 14. You can replace the belt tensioner but they rarely go. Change if you want. 15. Clean that dirty engine to keep grease off of the timing belt Installation 16. Retime your engine by making sure the valve sprockets are pointing up and the two lines are matched up next to each other. 17. Make sure the crank is positioned right there should be a little line on the oil pump gear and an arrow on the block. Line them up. 18. Install the timing belt and make sure there is no slack. Make sure the belt tensioned is tight and recheck the timing to make sure it did not move. 19. After everything looks good turn the crankshaft 6 times to make sure valves are not open while any piston is at TDC. You should feel some sort of tension but if you feel it get stuck STOP and check the timing. After everything checks out install the outer belt guide. 20. Put all parts back on leaving the remaining belts off till you are totally done putting all parts back on. If you feel everything is right start the car. If anything sounds funny shut it off and recheck everything for damage and problems with timing. If it does not start check distributor for proper alignment. Enjoy a beer or soda. This should take around 2 days if it is your first time. I have it down by memory now so it takes me around a day. Good luck and if you have any questions PM me or E-mail me.

it must be wired or accidentally...due to a short..connected up to battery.. It will usually go through sensors and some kind of timer and or controller,,you can check those as wel. check the AC fan control relay. just unplug and fan should stop. If it does swap with the cooling fan relay and see if problem moves with it. If so repalce the relay.

Follow the + battery cable -jump the small terminal and the wire to the starter (Make sure in neutral) Starter should operate

The LS has heated seat controls located between the seats right under the arm rest. When you look inside both cars you can plainly see the difference because the L does not have the controls located there. They both have the same engine. Th bigger engine was available in the GS model with the type II engine. The L and LS had 200 HP and the GS had 230 HP. The LS also has extra features such as ABS, both front driver and passenger airbags, a Bose stereo system, and other features.

I have the same problem, and found this info online. It worked for me. It only took 2 minutes before the check engine light went off, and then it started right up. I'm thinking I should replace my windshield since it sounds like the water leak I have is the real problem (I'm actually surprised that he didn't replace his instead of drying the computer off every time it rained).

when you go out to start the car the it will tun over but not start. the engine light will stay on and the car will not crank up. you have to leave the key in the ignition spot until the light goes off. you will then hear fuel inject into the engine and it will crank up and drive fine, but at idle it has some hesitation.we have put a new relay in and it didnt help. we were also thinking about new computer. we took the computer to a shop and he found blown compacators. replaced them and car work great for couple days then did it again. i noticed that the car leaked water through the windshield right on to the computer so i disconected it and took the cover off and blew it dry put it back in and it crank right up. but to start the car now you have to do that or wait about 15 min for the light to go off

The tachometer cable may be faulty. The tachometer sensor, on the side of the engine might not be functioning properly.

If that doesn't work, you may have to take the door trim pad off and lube the linkage inside the door.

There is a flip down cover as part of the face of the clock asemble. Pull it down, then depress the hour or minute keys as needed to put in the correct time. to advance the clock several hours or minutes simply hold the keys down.

any oil filter will do being that this is an old car you don't a dealer ship filter go to your nearest auto parts store and pick one up for under $10 but it maybe cheaper to just let the nearest mechanic shop change the oil i know in Virginia you can have a oil change done for under $30 with a fluid check on every thing

My first thought is have you checked your fan? Some fans spin but not fast enough. Electric fans get weak and direct drive fans have a clutch that gets weak. Another issue is the air dam ( the piece of plastic under you car). Most cars are designed to push air through the radiator if the air dam is missing it might be a problem.

The washer pump is part of the washer liquid reservoir bottle. It is hidden in the fenderwell. You can get to it by removing the fender liner on the driver's side. The washer pump is easy to see and replace once the fender liner is off. Also, the washer hose runs inside the front left fender up to the washer jets on the hood. You have to get inside the fender to repair or replace that hose as well as the pump or the plastic reservoir bottle.

On the front of the motor above the belts there is a black plastic box. Thake out the 2 bolts and you will see 2 cables. The one on the left is idle cable. There are nuts holdint it in place. Loosin the nuts and find the the rpm you want to idle at at tighten nuts.

In order to change the front headlights you would have to remove the front bumper (2 screws and annoying clips under the hood) once that is done remove the screws from the top and on the metal bar that is under the headlights. After that you would gently remove the headlight from the vehicle and be sure to disconnect the lights from the headlight.

Yo don't have to go through the front bumper. Just use a needle nose plier to remove the screw on the back of the light under the hood. Yes, the one with all of the scary warnings on it, about don't remove for risk of electrocution or death. Pull the metal clip down and remove the old bulb. This is how they do it at the acura dealership, they just make you wait 2 hours for your car. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes. You don't have to remove the battery when changing the light on the driver's side, just pull out a couple of plastic inserts and replace them when your done.

You will need to change the brake light switch. The brake light switch can be found below the dashboard on the drivers side.
