What clip on wide view rearmirror fits OnStar mirrors?

The only one I've found is the Pilot M035. It's clips are wide enough to fit on the ends that aren't too wide, and still has the buttons available. I found mine at AutoZone. It is not convex but flat but is wider to give a better view. I just wish I could find one that is convex and fit also.

Is there a diagram for 2004 Toyota solara?

There are enough diagrams available to completely take apart and rebuild the car. What you need is the factory service manual and/or a Clymer or Haynes manual for your car. The Toyota manual isn't quite as intuitive as the more consumer oriented Clymer and Haynes but it may be more complete and detailed. The Factory manual is available for download from Toyota Information Services. The Clymer/Haynes manuals can be found at many auto parts stores or check Amazon. Cheers

How do you remove Toyota Highlander rear seat?

Awnser based on 2006 Highlander w/ 3rd row seat. To remove either of the split rear seat. 1) Carefully pry off trim pieces at front and rear brackets - 4 locations. 2) Remove side trim and trim near door threshold as needed (this is trim that will break possibly if seat removed without removing..I almost went there). 3) You can now see bright silver shiny bolts, 1 at front and either 1 or 2 at rear. Unscrew all of them, they need a 14mm socket and use larger socket driver as they are torqued ~40 ft-lb. 4) You can now remove seat by pulling up - there are guide pins at front so may need to move slightly forward while pulling up. I performed this procedure to remove left side rear seat (includes center section) to re-clip upholstery clips which had mysteriously become loose. Installation is of course reverse of the removal. Another bonus - have a vacuum, towels and cleaning detergent handy to clean up all of the junk that has dropped down below the seat!

Is a car with a bent rear frame safe to drive?

No, if you get into another accident the frame will collapse further, and could cause damage to the occupants. Driving a vehicle with a bent frame is also harder to steer because it interferes with your alignment in most cases.

Which organ in human being sleeps first?

Sleep is a brain state so really nothing goes to sleep in your body except for your brain.

However your body is in a state of atonia while you are sleeping (during REM sleep). Atonia means that the motor signals from your brain are cut off from your body essentially paralyzing your body so you can't move around while you are sleeping. This is controlled by the pons [1] and the mesopontine tegmentum [2] in your brain.

How much does it cost to have auto door locks replaced?

Call a local locksmith and ask them what it would cost to change just the lock cylinders. You would then get new keys but your remote opener would still be the same. *GOING TO A CAR DEALER WOULD BE CHEEPER.

What is the difference between air compressor filters and air compressor air dryers?

Air compressor filters are on the intake side of the compressor motor to filter the air as it is brought in. Dryers are collection points that are drained daily as the compressor is hot when operating and moisture develops in the tank. Should drain the tank daily after use and the dryer should be installed in line before the gun.

Has anyone ever heard of Viper Tint car window tinting I may be getting your car windows tinted and you were wondering if that is a decent brand?

Viper Window Film is probably the rarest film on the market. I do own a tint shop and if you want to make sure that you won't have trouble down the road, get a good, name-brand, lifetime warrantied film, one that has a proven history - Like:

Llumar, Suntek, Solargard, Maxpro, Johnson's, etc.

You can't really go wrong with these. I don't know about Viper, nor does anyone else I know, so I can't recommend them just yet. I've researched them a lot and know that that are definitely the cheapest film to distribute by FAR!!! And more times than not, you get what you pay for.

How do you remove sun visor on Mercedes 560sl to replace male clip?

I ran across the following one day, don't know the source so can't give credit due:

The rod on which the sun visor is mounted has an internal tab that must be aligned with a slot in order to withdraw it. Kind of hard to find the alignment but for starters:

Loosen the screw at on the sun visor face near the ball end of the rod. Orient the visor in the down position to approximately match the angle of the ball end of the rod. Wiggle and pull along the rod until the tab and slot find themselves and the visor starts to move along the rod. You will be able to withdraw it enough to slip the new clip on then push it back in place.

How to fix a drooping headliner?

Once a headliner starts drooping there is nothing you can do to fix it. You can temporarily find solution though. I put thumb tacks in mine, they keep coming down every now and then though, you just need to push them put in. You could also staple it to the roof(not recommended).

The ultimate solution though is to buy a headliner kit for about $30 and replace it following the instructions.

You can get things at a craft store like joanne fabrics that work fine and never fall out.they have like a clear button with a tiny like corkscrew on them so all you have to do is turn them in,they really work fine.hope this helps.

The proper fix is to find foam backed headliner material at a fabric store. Take the trim out and take the headliner board down. Clean it and remove all the old foam. Put on the new fabric and reinstall in car.

optionally, you could remove the headliner and pay an upholstery shop to reline the fabric

or, if you've got plenty of $$$ buy a whole new headliner from a dealership

I have repared many sagging and drooping headliners with little expense. You must carefully remove the trim that holds the headliner in plaace then remove the headliner. They DO come out of the car when you figure out the angle it must be in. Be careful not to bend it. Once removed, carefully remove the material. If it begins to deteriorate, the headliner material can be purchade custom cut and fit from outlets like J.C. Whitney. Use a srpay adhesive like 3M and LIGHTLY spray the surface that the headliner material goes on. Center the material and smooth out from center to edges using your hands or a 3 or 4 inch paint roller until it is smooth and fastened. Let it set for a few hours for the adhesive to cure. Then reinstall the headliner, trim and anything else you removed. If done properly, it will look like new. Be patient.
