When you open the hood and are standing in front of the car, at the left end of the vavle cover, which would be the pass. side, there may be a clip to hold the plug wires on it. There are probably two bolts on a flat cover, remove the bolts, you may have to gently tap the cover to break it free, it does have an o-ring seal and a spring under the cover. Use a pair of long nose pliers to grab and gently pull up to re move the old pcv valve you may have to use the pliers to install the new one, then spring and replace the cover

You need to remove the 4 screws holding the top cover and loosen the ring holding the air tubing to the top of the air filter compartment with a flathead screw driver. Use a 10 mm socket wrench to unscrew the bottom half of the air filter compartment from its mount next to the battery. Pull up on the lower part of the air filter compartment until you have removed it completely from the engine compartment and set it aside until done adding refrigerant.
