On the door you will see a little cover where you place your hand to close the door. Pry the cover off with a flat screwdriver and you will find two 10 MM bolts. Remove those bolts along with a black screw where the knob is to open the door from the inside. You then pull the whole inside door panel off by hand, it has a bunch of plastic snaps. Guide it off the handle. Unplug all of the wire harness. Pull off the clear plastic cover carefully leaving the tar substance. You will see three screw holding the mirror on.

I am working here from memory but first you need to remove a plug at bottom of the indent in the armrest then remove the screw under the plug. I removed my 2001 regal panel with a flat nail puller. I started at the rear bottom and pried the corner with a screwdriver blade until I could see the first plastic pop rivet (this may not be the official name). I then pried with the flat bar just like removing a nail but with far less force required. Do this slowly to prevent damage to the door, panel, and plastic rivets. Then you can pull the panel back and find the remaining pop rivets, I recall about 6 pop rivets and, if you're careful, you won't need to get new rivets. You should then be able to get at the wiring harness for your power windows and door locks and disconnect them by prying slightly with a small flat screwdriver on the retainer clamp. Finally lift the panel off over the door lock pop-up (there may have been some spring clips here so be careful). Then you can remove the plastic guard adhesived to the door (I was able to re-use the original plastic over the original adhesive). Reverse the order to re-install and I just used my fist to bang the panel back in place after carefully aligning the plastic pop-rivets. I replaced two window regulators (front and rear for about $80 parts each verses the first one that cost me $350 via a body shop). A rather bad design since the window will fall down (trust me it will happen especially in the South) once the plastic clips decay (really GM plastic when you probably could use metal for another $1 per window?). Again I may have missed a few steps but if you are even still considering it now you should be O.K. I think I popped the control panel out of but I do not believe it was necessary. The entire operation took me about an hour first time.

If the outside temperature gauge is not reading the right temperature on a Buick Regal, perhaps it has become damaged. It can also not read the right temperature if it is wet or covered with dirt or snow.

I believe it is 153624 but you can call an auto parts store or go to one and look it up in a book most auto parts have that information in their computer and can tell you over the phone The answer according to O'Reillys Auto stores is 165342 and it runs clockwise.

remove the splash guard on the bottom, and it will be on the drivers side of the car, by the side of the radiator facing the back of the car, just past the left most part of the radiator, undo from the bottom of the car, even though it is NOT visable from the bottom.

There is a switch especially for the foglights under the dash towards the driver's side door left of the steering wheel. The foglights will come on only if the low beams or the park lights are on. When you change from low beams to high beams the foglights will go off. Also when you turn the car off the fog lights go off too.

It is under the reservior for the windshield washer.not easy to remove.must remove cross bar then reservoir.better to have a free install with purchase of a new battery much easier.can recharge without removing battery .remove red plastic cover on terminal next to reservoir for+connect and ground for -.

At the pivot point of the clutch pedal, underneath the dash. Very hard to get to. I would take the driver's seat out. That will make it easier.

I have an '01 Regal. They should be pretty close in construction.

On my car, the relay is in the fuse box and the fuse box is under the hood on the passenger side. It is a rectangular black box near the battery and may have a small red boxy-looking cover on top of it with a thick black wire coming out the top.

The little red box is broke on my car, but I think it has to be removed before the fuse box cover can be removed.

The box should be marked "FUSE" and has a knob in the center. Turn it CCW to unscrew it and pull the cover off.

Inside the cover is a label with identification of the components including the relays that energize a large portion of the car. There should also be spare fuses and a puller tool.

This is essentially the 'heart' of your car's electrical distribution system.

Be careful because high currents at low voltages are present and exposed with the cover off. Put the cover back on when your done.

My 99 gs would stall on turning or just going down the road. Only happened a few times.Car would also not crank from time to time. Had a check engine code and was the crank shaft sensor. Replaced sensor and all is well. Harmonic balancer is a sob to remove so I had it done at a shop,labor was 100.00$. Part was 27.00$. Not Bad. However if your car has not cut off while running you will not have a code! Coil pack and ignition module can be checked at orilyes auto parts,maybe others too. If its not the two above it could be the crank shaft sensor,cam sensor,or the harmonic balancer its self. The balancer has a rubber piece that will fail and cause the timing to go off. Hope this helps

Disconnect the rubber hoses from the heater and the intake. Once the clamp is removed, take a sharp knife and split the rubber ends and peal them off. DO NOT pull on the heater core as you can damage the heater core. Take a hacksaw and cut the band off and replace the heater hose using new clamps.

When you open the hood, on the inner pass. side fender there should be a cover that says ''''''''electrical center" you may have to loosen the support rod to get to it, probably takes a 10mm wrench. There may also be fuses or relays under cover just behind battery
