A replacement balancer could have a wrong keyway. The vehicle could be a half year, meaning that the balancer is listed for one year newer or older vehicle, or the balancer could have been made wrong.

The wheels from your 1998 Grand Prix will fit on to the 1999 Buick regal. The wheels from both vehicles are exactly the same.

could be a dead cell in the battery, a loose ground or hot wire on the starter, or the starter could be bad.

some fuses are on the side of the dash on the passenger side as you open the door, then there are two other fuse boxes under the hood against the fenders (you will probably have to unbolt the crossbraces to access them).

The odometer is held in with 3 screws to the instrument panel, and an electrical connector plugs into the circut board on the instrument panel, unplugs easily. Then the motor that drives the odometer can be unscrewed and taken off. We're going to get another one from another Buick at a junkyard and screw & plug it in, and hopefully it will start working. I took the instrument panel out of our 92 Buick Regal, (took off the bolts (really screws with bolt heads) for the top dash pad and pulled it out, very easy). Then the instrument panel can be unscrewed (4 screws/bolt heads) and easily pulled out, leave the transmission PNDD2L indicator attached, or 2 screws on the bottom of the instrument panel and it comes out, and took the face plates off the instrument panel to get at the odometer.

The sensor is located in between the crank pulley and front cover, just to the lft of the crankshaft. In order to change the sensor, you must, first, remove the crank pulley. With the damper off, unplug the sensor, and pull off the plastic cover. The sensor is mounted with 2 bolts, just to the left of the crankshaft. You'll need a deep 15mm socket.

Althou you probly could get away with towing more. I personally don't recomend towing more than 1000 lbs. The rear suspension on these cars is weak, VERY WEAK. And since that's where all this weight situates itself, only proplems can arrise.

In the 100%, machine shop answer....no. They are different, therefore they will not fit. In the real world answer, with the right precautions, yes they will work. In this case, fitting and working are 2 different things. The difference between the 2 sizes is .7mm. That difference, while being a difference, is such a small difference that by using hub-centric rings and in some cases, "wobble Nuts", you can make it work and work for quite some time. I would not suggest this on track cars or cars that you beat on, but for daily driving it should work fine. You will need to, of course, check your lugs periodically to prevent ejecting a wheel. But many...many people have done this and the horror stories have been minimal.

I do not know if it the same as the 99 but the low port is the one further away from the radiator on the passenger side of the car.

High-side input(small line) of the Evaporator core. It will be just inside the evap core neck, when the line is disconnected.

Most GM vehicles of that vintage have fuel filters directly below or behind the driver, under the car. It's a tin-can looking device with a fuel line entering from the rear and another fuel line exiting to the front. Both lines should have screw fittings and can be loosened using two wrenches. The process isn't difficult, but recognize that fuel will spill out when you remove the fuel line from the filter. Try to not be below the filter when you do that and be careful with fire and sparks. If you have all of the tools available it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

Most GM vehicles use side terminal batteries. To jump start one, you connect the + cable to the + side post, and the -Neg to the engine.

Remove front grille, drain water and remove radiator. Remove all belts, remove timing cover and crankshaft dampner. Removes distributor. Timing gear on older models was pressed onto camshaft (not sure about 90 model trucks) . If gear is pressed on , you have to pull the camshaft out and have a machine shop press it off for you and have the new camshaft gear pressed on. no chain only gears in m,y 94 f-150 I dont think they press on so no need to remove front grill maybe in alittle different order also

I see two possible reasons here the first would be that the coolant level sensor is malfunctioning. It is possibly located at the over flow tank. It could also just be dirty. I not really familiar with this model, but some models have the sensor at the overflow tank. The second possibility is that your radiator cap is malfunctioning and letting pressure out. The radiator cap should only vent when high pressure is created like when it overheats. You have to have pressure for the coolant system to circulate properly. This would mean you need to replace the radiator cap. That is two common causes. I hope I could be some help. Good luck.
